Wikipedia defines a functional blog as a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web (WWW) and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first). There are different types of functional blogs, depending on what you are using the blog for. I have a personal blog where I write posts about things peculiar to me and I have this business blog where I write posts about money, business and wealth. All my blogs are functional because I update them weekly and people use what I update daily. Do you have a functional blog? Your answer will either be a YES or a NO. If your answer is YES, I would love to have you as one of the Nigerian bloggers I feature on the “Nigerian Blogger of the Week”. If you answer is NO, I’m hoping that you will read this and then get started with your own blog. If you want to get featured as one of the Nigerian Blogger of the Week, please read Get Featured on the Nigerian Blogger Spotlight and make sure you do what is required. If you want to start your own blog. I could help you get this done or you can do it yourself. To get this done by yourself, please get a copy of the BIG Blog Guide, read and apply what you read. If you want me to start and setup a functional blog for you. You can get this at a discount. Please go to WordPress Blog Setup, read and do what is required. And if you have a functional blog but you don’t want any of the things I stated above, I’ll love to still work with you. You can either become a guest author on this blog or you can write a post on your blog about my business blog which I’ll pay for or promote. Let me know which one you want to do between these two. To become a guest author, please read how to submit guest posts. However, if you are not sure of what a blog is, you can drop a comment using the comment form below and I will respond to you. |

It is possible to start making more than €5 per day on the adsense ads displayed on your blog or website. This you can do legitimately without trying to cut corners for earning more with your Adsense Ads. In the first place, you will need to find high-paying niche markets. Please note: you should never click on the Adsense ads you display on your website or blog. You would be severely penalized if you do so. In this post post, you will discover what you need to do starting today in order to improve your Adsense income Google-AdsenseIf you’ve already been marketing your blog with regular articles, you’re probably thinking how am I going to drive enough traffic to a blog in order to make at least €5/day within a week? Article marketing is effective, but most people who market with articles aren’t generating €5/day per blog after only one week. Why? Because they aren’t targeting high-paying markets!! What you should know before you can make €Euro Per Day with Your Google AdSense Ads If you remember only one thing from this post; remember this: All Adsense clicks are not created equal! A click from an Adsense ad in most niches will earn you roughly 10-40 cents per click. However, there are some niches that will earn you €1 – €3 or more for every single click your blog generates from your visitors! When you’re targeting a niche that pays €1 per click (for example) you only need 5 visitors who click your ad to earn your €5 for that day! Imagine you have lots of traffic and targetted ads are displayed on your blog by Google Adsense, it’ll be easier to make like €10/day. Let’s say your Adsense adverts maintain a 30% CTR (click through rate). With a 30% CTR you only need about 17 visitors a day to reach your goal of €5/day. 17 visitors a day in one week! Sound do-able? If you answered no to that question do yourself a favor and go get a job ![]() Read more on the source: mmo.ng |

According to Facebook Newsroom,, Facebook Inc started rolling out Privacy Checkup yesterday. The essence of the Facebook Privacy Checkup is to which help Facebook users easily review and control who they are sharing status updates, photos, videos, notifications with. The issue of privacy on Facebook has been a major concern for Facebook users. The Facebook privacy checkup will be very useful for you if you use Facebook. In the coming days, you will be able to see the option to take Privacy Checkup when you visit Facebook. Doing the Checkup should only take a minute or two. This will give you control on what to share and which people will see what you share. What you should know about Facebook privacy checkup. 1. You can be sure you are sharing with the right people. 2. You can edit who sees each app and any future posts the app makes for you, or delete the apps you no longer use. 3. You can review and edit the privacy information on your profile. 4. You can reach Privacy Checkup at any time by clicking “Privacy” shortcuts on your Facebook account. As for me, I already have my Facebook privacy intact but i’ll also be making use of the Facebook privacy checkup as soon as I see it on my Facebook account. You too can go ahead and configure your privacy settings if you already know what to do. Source: MMO.NG |

“I’m a real go-getter who always thinks outside the box, demonstrates thought leadership and proactively motivates myself!” If this sentence made you cringe, you’re not alone. These phrases come from the new CareerBuilder survey on the best and worst résumé terms. They surveyed 2,201 hiring managers and HR people in order to come up with the best of the best and the worst of the worst. The Worst Terms to Use on Your Résumé 1. Best of breed: 38% 2. Go-getter: 27% 3. Think outside of the box: 26% 4. Synergy: 22% 5. Go-to person: 22% 6. Thought leadership: 16% 7. Value add: 16% 8. Results-driven: 16% 9. Team player: 15% 10. Bottom-line: 14% 11. Launched: 24% 12. Revenue/Profits: 23% 13. Under budget: 16% 14. Won: 13% Considering, according to this survey, the average hiring managers spends two minutes looking at a résumé (and other studies have shown that number to be far lower — 45 seconds), it may be worth your time to rewrite your résumé to reflect what hiring managers want to see. But, if you’re the one doing the hiring, stop and realize your own biases, and maybe vow to spend a bit more time looking at résumé. After all, it’s not about what the résumé says (unless you’re hiring professional résumé writers), it’s about what the person can do for you. While you may want immediately reject someone because they threw a word like “synergy” around, that might not always be the best course. Take a closer look and see what they’ve really accomplished. After all, your goal should be to hire the best people for your business, and that may mean people who aren’t the world’s best résumé writers. Source: The 14 Best Terms To Use On Your Résumé |

One of the very old and still useful method to get traffic to your site is backlinks from websites or blogs with good PR (pagerank) on Google. This method is still useful in the sense that, Google ranks your blog based on the amount of the “blog mentions” your blog gets from other top quality blog. Backlinks and blog mentions are links from other websites or blog to your own blog. This can be used within the blog post, blog comment or directory. If you are looking for ways to generate backlinks to your blog, here is the list of 300+ websites or blogs you should submit your blog to. These are sites you will need to pay other people for (on Fiverr etc) before they help you submit your blog. But you are getting them for free. For the list of the 300+ websites or blogs to submit your blog to, please check mmo.ng |

Militant leader, Dokubo-Asari, who is also the leader of Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force, NDPSF, yesterday, exploded, saying Buhari masterminded the attack on himself. He lashed out at the former head of state, saying he plotted to kill many innocent Nigerians in the explosion. The former President of Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, of the Niger Delta region, who spoke to journalists in Abuja, said Buhari and his group would fail in their conspiracy and desperation to take over power from President Goodluck Jonathan. Claiming he knew the erstwhile Nigerian leader so well, the former militant leader said Buhari was not known to be driven in a bullet-proof car prior to the incident, alleging that the use of an armoured jeep in his motorcade started recently which confirmed his stand. Facebook has become the largest social networking site. It has over 1 billion users all over the world. Nigerians are not left out in this. Everyone has the same and equal opportunity to make Facebook whatever they want to make it. People make real money from Facebook. I also make money online through Facebook. In this, you will see how this is done so you to can start making real money from Facebook. Now to the thing that brought you here. This is the 5 ways you need to know and start using so as to rake in more money from Facebook like I do. The things you will see below are so simple that you can start in few minutes from now. If you need help, you can get all the help needed from me. Also, I assume you already have a profile on Facebook. If you haven't go ahead and get one. 1 . Create Facebook Groups Yes, create Facebook groups. Not just Facebook group but relevant Facebook groups that people will join without you forcing them to. You can start this as soon as possible. Before you rush into this, find a good topic for your Facebook group. This should be a topic that most people search for. Once you get that settled, go ahead and create the Facebook group. 2. Create Facebook Pages The same thing that applies to Facebook groups applies to Facebook pages. The only difference is what you use the Facebook group or Facebook page to do. Go ahead and create a Facebook page. Then do all you need to do to get Fans for your Facebook Page. 3. Facebook Advertising The third thing to do if you want to make real money from Facebook is to use Facebook Advertising. You can help people advertise their products/services on Facebook and get paid for the services you offer. You can also market people's products on Facebook as an affiliate and get paid for doing so. This is one of the best way people make huge returns from Facebook. You can make purchases of any of the products and get the opportunity to resell them. 4. Creating Facebook Applications This is a goldmine for you if you know how to build web applications. Facebook users make a great use of Facebook applications daily. This helps us to interact better with our friends and families across the globe. You will be making a lot if you can start your own Facebook Applications (games etc. You make money three ways with this. 1. By selling the application. 2. By displaying your products or services ads within the applications. 3. By requesting for donation from people who use the applications. The truth is, some applications are easy to do. You can also check the lists of Facebook application. You can get inspiration from them. 5. Selling Your Products This is the last and the best. Of a truth, you would not make any MONEY with Facebook group, Facebook Page, Facebook Advertising or Facebook Application if you don't have something good to sell. You MUST have a HOT product or a service you are selling. This is where the money is. And also, to sell in large quantities, you must have a large customer base. If you really desire to make money from Facebook, make sure you put into practice all you have read above. I may need to add that you should become a celebrity or someone with authority on Facebook to make more money from it. This is one of the things that helps me a lot in making real money from Facebook. So, go ahead and put what you have read into practice. If you need help with this, I'll be willing to assist you to make money via Facebook. Kindly drop a comment on this post and I'll reply you. |

I made the $420 from two (2) tweets via Social Media Marketing on Twitter. So, here we go deep into how I made the $420. 1. I had over 46, 000 twitter followers as at the time I sent out those tweets. Those 46, 000 followers are not just followers. They are mostly real people using Twitter more than one time a day. 2. I use Twitter effectively as an influencer. 3. I signed up for the opportunity long before the start of the 2014 World Cup. 4. I followed instructions set by what I signed up for. 5. I sent out the two tweets at different days during the 2014 World Cup. 6. I got paid $420 after the tweets very verified after the 2014 World Cup. That’s how simple it is. If you want to make like what I made or more, you just need to follow the six (6) things above and do them repeatedly. And you’ll watch your account grow while having fun on Twitter.
