Why did you have to spoil your insightful post with the mention of OBJ and GEJ championing Nigeria's cause? The only cause those thieves champion is their pockets and ego. HoluwarTohbar: |

Sent her a nicely worded response, and she blocked me. She's just looking for attention, I guess she got what she was badly craving. On the other hand, it might be a tactic for her to get a Nigerian guy to ask her out. Either way, it was a stupid post and I let her know that. |

Nah mate, whatsapp, email (4 accts), twitter and online surfing. I switch off the options to auto-download images and videos in my whatsapp for grp chats and individuals that love sending images and gifs. gidimasters: |

My Etisalat 1gb data lasts me for 3 weeks. Your data would last depending on what you use it for. You can't be watching videos, downloading pictures and still expect your data balance to be high. 1gb Airtel data on my IPad doesn't last 2 days. Shaa don't be fooled by the Glo data promo, 'cos na soso data balance u go dey see, browsing u no go fit do. gidimasters: |

The Mobil 1 I use is 0W40. My car is a 2005 RAV4 with over 100k miles on it, and I have used it for over 3 years. I once serviced it with 20W50, and had it drained to continue with the Mobil 1 less than a month, because the car's performance dropped drastically, the engine noise increased, and the engine revving noise when I accelerate sharply was gone. 20W50 is a cheaper oil, and most mechanics don't really know the importance of the fully synthetic oils, and they advice most people to go with the latter. My wife's old 2008 Corolla had so much sludge in the engine, due to her use of 20W50 engine oil. From the day I serviced it with Mobil 1, she never went back. P.S.: If you see a wine RAV4 'turbo'ing down the expressway, that might be me. xcitedjay: 5 Likes 1 Share |

I've been a victim as well, called GTB customer service, and I was told they source their forex from the black market hence the difference to the official rates. |

gabriel212: Who have you reported the case of the illegal workers to? Government agencies can't do anything without information from the public. Please, do the needful. |

I like this Goodluck guy, using reverse psychology, and 'first attack'. i bet he's feeling like a boss now, dumbo. If MTN folds up, GLO, Airtel, Etisalat and O'tel would takeover the operations, and improve the scope of their businesses by buying out MTN's equipments, or better still, the Nigerian government can privatise the company and sell to the highest bidder, after all, all the profits made are repatriated back to South Africa. Just take a look at that defiant tone, as if they are doing us a favour by being in this country, citing employment figures, seems they've forgotten so fast that mtn started off by taking over and using NITEL's equipments free of charge. 8 Likes |

I just got an email from an email address: recruitment.consult@gmail.com to come for a test/job briefing tomorrow 4th march 2015 by 2pm at no. 84 trinity House, Itire road, Morgan bus-stop, Mushin, Lagos. ref code: HR/CV/004. From the look of things, the address remains the same, but the name of the building has changed. Thanks Nairalanders, would have wasted petrol purchased @ N97/ltr on a useless trip. |

Tpharell:There's this lady presenter on Splash FM, Ibadan. I just tune to the next available station whenever i hear her fake accent. People should learn to speak proper English, and not these fake accents. If you've stayed in these foreign climes for an extended period, you would subconsciously change your flow to suit your environment, but then when you stay for a long period in the Naija environment, why isn't the subconscious taking place? My people like to fake, too much!!! |

You don't have to really spend time with her, all you need is her details, and you can spend time together later, at a mutually agreed time and place. Don't over stay your welcome, or you might turn the GREEN light RED. IdJack: There are some green light a lady will show you...if you are not fast to notice it...the light will turn to RED, maybe her guy is around |

My dad is kind'a like that. Anytime he takes us to school (boarding), I'm talking from primary school, he would say, this is your inheritance that I'm giving you, if you become useful (wulo), you would be useful to yourself. He would tell me and my siblings, that he's working for himself, so that when he grows older, or if he's ever in need of money, he would convert his assets to cash. We all grew up not looking up to our parents riches, and they (my parents) are very wealthy. MORAL OF THE TALKS: It made us all very hardworking and focused, though we were very very comfortable, and got all we ever asked for. mindworx: Me and my dad, we are not close. The first day i entered University, he took me there. Immediately i came down out of the car, he called me and said: My mum once called my brother and I after SSCE, and read Deut 28 line by line to the last verse, and then advised us, and we prayed. It was a sobering experience. 3 Likes |

My staples are: CK 'Be', Paco Rabanne '1 Million', and Burberry 'Touch', but just got Hugo Boss 'Boss', Bvlgari 'Aqva' and CK 'One'. I usually spray on 2 perfumes before going out, so no one can ever guess what perfume I'm wearing. 1 Like |

He's just trying to buy back the favour of the fans, after calling them 'broke niggas'. If he really wants to show off, he needs to take a cue from Terry G (he gives away his chain, watch, and shade at every show). |

The issue is not the materials used in our road constructions, but the quality of the materials used. When the people in government to embezzle money, asphalt or concrete doesn't matter, because, they would just use like a tenth of the amount needed for the construction, but when they want to do a good job, they would ensure it is a high qualoity job. All the roads constructed on the Lagos island, Oyebanji to Balogun, through Broad street were constructed during Tinubu's last months, and you cant find a single pot hole on any of the roads. Mind you, these were constructed using asphalt. The number of collapsing buildings is an example of greed at play in concrete use. |

Some people just posting rubbish, 'cos they have never experienced 'the life'. My advice is this, once you complete your course of study and can't get a good professional job, come back to Naija. That's why it's good to do a good course and not just any course just to have a degree, that only works for the whites. I came back to naija 2 years after my degree when I got fed up with wasting my life doing low-skilled jobs, (I was working as a door supervisor, in clubs, Wembley stadium for fooball matches and concerts, and The O2 during its construction), lived in Vauxhall SW8, and was making above £2,000 in some months, but I looked at the long term prospect, and career progression, and if I would be proud to be doing that for the next 10 years. I'm back in Naija (since Feb 2009) and living the life I could only imagine in the UK, and I'm even regretting not coming back earlier, and planning to go visiting the UK in December, for a week. Nothing can tempt me back to live and work in the UK, unless a very high paying job, as for further studies, going to the states next year for my Masters. P.S.: I'm not related to or know any politician, and I'm where I am right now due to sheer hard work, and my good university grades gave a jump start, no yahooyahoo, or some illegal runz. 1 Like |

chief, this looks good to me. Just wanna ask, how long has this been used in Naija? |

what is good for the goose, should be good for the gander. Why ask other people's children to do something you can't ask your own child to do? That's called hypocrisy, my friend. phapi: To b frank what d social network has done to diz tender marriage is bad and if I were to b d couples I will never 4give nigeria for making noise over what is not necessary....... |

Mr grammar checker, why don't you try being explicit with your post, and let's all see just how 'good' your grammar is. Olodo. That's a typo, not a grammatical error. Olodo, I dare you to write a lengthy response to this. texaco1: |

Pls speak for yourself and those you know my friend. I almost lost my sister, because the doctor forgot to stitch up after a caesarian section. My sister was bleeding international, and was going pale, and it could have gone the other way, if not for the prompt action of my mum, and the dr had to open her up, stitched what he forgot to stitch and closed her up again. So, it's not about the equipments, it's about the people operating the equipments, and their attitudes to work. speedyboi: |
