i never had banked with intercontinental anyway,but atleast the other new generation banks i know do merely have a benchmark of an amount of money while opening the account,but you are guaranteed to withdraw to your #1 afterwards.so for any bank to institute such compulsion is actually a bad omen.it seems they have an ulterior motive.
