I have been a silent reader on this thread, I finally got to Shenyang yesterday. I would love to share my timeline.

1 oct. : Admission documents arrived from China. I have to go pick up my letter personally from dhl office when they refuse to delivered it to my house on time. ( it involves tracking and the rest).

15. Oct. Visa applied for at abuja embassy ( they are more sane than Lagos), I have to take a night bus to and fro.

14. Nov. Interview at Chinese embassy abuja, I wasn't asked anything , my interviewer just confirm the authenticity of my document and account statement which I back up with a reference letter from my sponsors bank.

15 nov. Visa granted.

20. Nov. Visa to be picked up, but I was delayed a day due to the public holiday, till 21 nov before picking up my visa.

27. Nov. Depart MMIA

28. Nov. Arrived at Shenyang.

so I will be very happy to have some One studying MBBS under the China government fully funded scholarship
as a dude in Nigeria what was your first step
how do you apply for the scholarship and what were the requirements....... what are the criteria for being qualified for the scholarship since many people will apply
will they grade your olevel results or you'll be given exams
and also how will you apply for the college of your choice I mean with what will you apply for the study program
finally.... how reliable is the government scholarship..... whether you'll be required to take some pocket money
and all the process in Nigeria including your visa... I mean everything you spend before travelling will be like how much in total if I may ask....to know how I'll start..... and when is the best time to apply
I desperately look forward to any reasonable reply from my bosses..... thanks in advance.....

Hi, Firstly it’s almost late to get admission for September session. On the matter of course, she can actually get a direct admission First year to study medicine, nursing or any medical program without going through foundation or pre-university. You can search, good luck.
NB: Go for another start date(January or March) and file with your bank statements, police report and complete medical test.

For those who want to do the Police report outside Lagos, I have heard a number of times that the processing branch will still send it to Lagos(headquarters) and you will incure extra charges. For e.g if its done for 5k in Lag, you pay about 10 to 15k if you’re outside Lagos.
Try get it done in Lagos to save cost

Police Character/Report is btwn 5k to 7k at Alagbon, try get it done within 2hours or less.

I visited the Embassy and YES, Police Report is compulsory(needs to be authenticated). If you still need more info then take time to go there, people are willing to help for free, even the police officers at the entrance.

You need police clearance certificate, authenticated at the ministry of foreign affairs and the chinese embassy. not to forget that the report has to be notarized too. that is the new procedure and you can make any progressive steps without achieving these first.

For self sponsored Bsc, only Police report?? How about notarized school cert, Waec and Birthcertficate?? Need to legalize also??

Lol, not fire-proof, bulletproof!! People are approved all the time with no SOP. This isn’t the second time. In fact it is a trend by now that some smart person looking to be approved, might just not even include SOP in their next application. It’s like the VOs attribute no SOP submission as a sign of non desperation.

Don't be weary...just keep striving and take calculated risk...WAEC cannot, you need your ss1-3 results....yeah I have a statement of purpose but it's for a master course. Kindly let me know what exactly you want then I can advise you..dnt loose hope just keep striving and you will see better days...I know of IELTS but can check that of TOEFL....just checked...pbt is 550, CBT is 210 while itb is 80...you can link this with what you have.
