I had a student visa. No biometrics for Australia visa for any Uk visa holder with a biometric residence permit.

Donsanta:

What visa did you had while in UK? Because from immigration website you would need it as long has the country is part of the program.

Yes, Australia Visa from the Uk ( if you reside in the UK) does not need a biometrics as UK and Australia share data. Did mine without biometrics.

mekmolly:
Hello everyone,

please, has anyone obtained his/her visa outside of Nigeria without having to do the personal identifier (biometrics). Your assistance would be highly appreciated. Thanks

This is unbelievable.
Visa Grant in two days.

To encourage someone

First Application 17th March 2022

Health examination 25th March 2022

Application returned invalid because of non payment of Visa fee (I selected option of covid impact) 4th April 2022

Re submitted 6th April,2022

Grant 7th April, 2022

Postgraduate Research Sector (Fully funded PhD)

Note: I submitted my application from the UK, so biometrics wasn't required.

I don't know how strong the marriage tie is for visa application anyway, because I am not yet married, hence no family ties except my parent and siblings, however I believe they deal with applicants individually based on their circumstances.

All the best to others hoping for a grant

Yes. You can use GTB dollar mastercard. Just get the equivalent amount in the account by buying from bereau de change. Also you can get someone that can pay dollars to the account

Marshall008:

Definitely No,

It cannot work. Just forget anything about debit card with Nigerian banks.

It is likely that you do not have a phone number attached to your BVN. Visit your bank to connect your phone number to your BVN.

Can one actually submit visa application now? Or wait till the embassy resume activities?

Nothing is guaranteed yet as per opening of borders but i believe the borders will open by next year.
So yes, its worth paying fees now and lock your money in, get your COE and apply for your visa asap. Moreover, the naira situation will get very worse soon as the economy is witnessing a negative rate growth, so the longer you wait, the more you will end up paying.
Should the borders not be opened before feb, you can always defer resumption to next entry.
Worst case, you can always get you refund from school if plans change.[/quote]

1) I think the best thing to do here is to send a message to the organisation that awarded you the scholarship, and direct this question to them. I'm sure they will gladly respond. Most scholarships are been deferred due to covid19 and I think they all understand this. Kindly ask them this question directly.

2) if denied maybe you will reapply.

3) you still need to ask the school directly about the new COE, they should be able to guide you better.

Betapikin01:
Good morning All.

Please I'm in a state of confusion right now.
I recently got an admission with a university in Australia (to resume 20th July) ACU precisely.
I have Paid my school fees, got my CoE, and I have also applied for my visa, did my Biometric and medical. Actually waiting for my grant. But due to the pandemic, everything is on pause mode.
Few weeks ago, the outcome of a scholarship that I applied for came out successful. And I was awarded a 50%scholarship. (I was so happy.)
Yesterday I got a mail from the school requesting the I can commence my studies online pending when the travel restriction will be lifted or I can defer the admission to Feb 2021.

Now my challenges.
1. If I defer the admission, will the scholarship be withdrawn?
2. If I chose to start my course online and my visa is denied what happens.
3. Can the school give me a new CoE reflecting the scholarship?

Please guys I need ur advice and humble suggestions

Regards.

Good afternoon the wise ones in the house, please I need some clarifications. I want to visit UK to attend an inaugural lecture which is for a day, please I want to know what I will select as the reason for traveling, is it business or I should select others and explain that its for inaugural lecture?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by moogee(f): 9:33am On Aug 19, 2017
Nchabuomo:

Nope. You only need TB test if you are staying more than 6months in the UK. Even if you get a 2years visiting visa you can't stay more than 6months at a stretch.

Thank you, I really appreciate
