Good talk. This is what I was trying to say to those saying Mali is the African champion and has a complete team. A complete team is an exaggeration but a good team should have been the word. If they are a complete team, no goal should have passed their defense and keeper but instead, they were trailing 1 - 0 in their semi final game. Nigeria U-17 is never a walkover for any team to think they will grab the winner like a piece of cake. Both teams are the best in the tournament, they know the task they are facing on Sunday and only the better side who is capable of converting the slightest crucial chance will win.
The coach should correct wrong passes to opponents, modify the defense Nigeria will win and now Bamigboye wearing Jessy number 7 will play.

I presume that one of the reasons for the impermanence and indubitable failure to implicitly transits the sublime performance to the senior world cup is because of lack of steadfastness by homogeneous set of players.

we were hoping and maintaing a resolute fidelity on the previous U-17 lads to evovle to the U-20 world cup and win it, since they did absolutely well in the U-17. but they ended up being one of the commiserated teams in the tornament.

this is because they are now virtually deviod of thesame level of dedication and passsion of which they formally possessed during the U-17 world cup. they played the U-17 world cup with great commitment because they know that it was an unprecedented vantage of displaying their phenomenal talents to the world, and most especially to secure the attention and the induction into some prestigious clubs, to play and earn in the top league and clubs!
At this stage, they are ready to do anything just to record an impressive performance.

But onces they have succesfully achieved this objective, they begin to exprience a frivolous and a declining enthusiasm for the national team. they no longer put in their best, because of they have gotten want they wanted.

And aslo because of the saying that 'Nigeria is not worth dieing for'
If any detrimental situation betide them during national football matches, they will be forgotten without any indemnification for them and their families.
Nigerias praise and consider you when you are active and yeilding great results, but they desert you in the time of adversity.
And I predicate that such pedestrian mindset by Nigerians is one of the major deterrents to them.
You are right!!! These are the exact reasons why we do not do well in senior national teams

we always do well in this competion, but it has not translate to senior world cup.

This is true. For example this same Brazil team Nigeria beat by 3-0 will grow up and become Brazilian team that this same players from Nigeria cannot challenge in any international competition like senior world cup. Why is it that we fail to develop our footballers to withstand future challenges from junior to senior level in Nigeria?

Problem of buying substandard parts

You need to be careful in handling the auxiliary gear. Whenever you put on the auxiliary button on and after passing through a difficult place, immediately turn off the auxiliary button. If left on, and you are turning the steering for a long time, it is bound to develop such problems you are having regularly. I have a Pathfinder suv 2005 model and I have never had steering problems.
Sports / Re: Mourinho Has Lost It. Blunders He Made Against Liverpool by moscoe(m): 12:50am On Nov 01, 2015

At the end of match day 11 of the barclays premier league chelsea stand at 15th position of the table owing to various defeats from the likes of Newcastle, Southamptom and most recently to Liverpool earlier today. What went wrong? My opinion is Mourinho has lost it. I woud b backing this with my analysis of all Mourinho's errors in the match against Liverpool.

Firstly I would start with the line up. I dont see the reason in playing a player that has been not just below standard but also has been a sort of shrill in an ochestra .ie a disorder in the whole pattern, talking of the person of Harzard.
Also Zouma as the right back isnt all good, defensively its very ok but Zouma isnt good at attacking, therefore putting the right flank a bit down attacking wise.

Secondly chelsea started off on the right foot, applying pressure high up but after the goal in the fourth minute chelsea sank deeply into their half not applying pressure up the pitch. I believe if a team is to play the counter attacking football and do it well, they have go to apply alot of pressure on the opposition and try to steal possesion more often to facilitate more counter attacking opportuinities. In addition to pressuring a lot of quick and accurate passing is needed in other to get the ball to the other half faster and catch the opposition defence on suprise, so the need to play an aggressive and a ball passing central midfielders in my oppinion Ramirez and Fabregas pair or Mikel and Fabregas pair would have been a more suitable approach to the game.

Thirdly Mourinho made technically wrong subs when Liverpool initially took the lead. Before Liverpool took the lead, the bringing in of Kennerdy was a superb sub but shifting him to the left back position after Liverpool took the lead was a technically wrong decision, considering the prevailing situation because Kennerdy is not good defensively. With a good cover like Azpiluepeta behind him its a great combination. But removing Azpiluepeta and shifting a good attacking player (Kennerdy) to defense where he isnt comfortable with for the introduction of a flop attacker (Falcao) is a basic football blunder.

I believe by now my readers will very much agree with me when i say "Mourinho has lost it". And should be sacked. Hoping to read your opinions

Ps M-rookie your fellow Chelsea fan

Pride goes before a fall! Mourinho is a proud and mouth-making coach. His achievements so far have gone into his head and as such does not give regard to others. He doesn't welcome constructive criticism. He believes that in football he is the 'special one'. He knows it all and nobody knows it better even referees and the press. I could not see the reason why he has been keeping Mikel Obi in the bench in other matches. His inclusion of Harzard was really a blunder as he never made any serious contributions in the match until he was substituted. A loss to Liverpool is a very big lesson to him as yesterday he was warning Liverpool to be careful. Liverpool adhered to his warning and beat him.

The Golden Eaglets have what it takes to overrun and overtake Brazil. The drums were not rolled out because of the dwindling oil revenue occasioned by falling oil prices in the international market.

The FA has released new rules to protect Chelsea from relegation.
1. Chelsea will be allowed to field 13
players during home games and 15
during away games.
2. If they win 2 consecutive corners
kicks they will be awarded a penalty.
3. Any attempt on goal will be treated
as a goal.. Including off target shots.
4. If a Chelsea player is fouled, that's a straight penalty regardless
of the position.
5. They will be allowed to make 13
substitutions.
6. They will be awarded 6 points for
every match won, 4 points for a draw and 2 points if they lose.
7. They will be allowed to field 2 or 3
goal keepers at the same time.
8. Any attempt to tackle or mark Hazard will result to a penalty
9. Finally Jose Morinho will be allowed to instruct the players inside the pitch as the
match is ongoing.

That means Liverpool is finished!!!

grin. I don die oooo

This is surprising. A whole Arsenal loosing to such a lowly rated team like Shefield Wednesday-Championship side? Not only that Arsenal was beaten, they lost by a very wide goal margin, 3-0. Completely incredible! Anyway, they are better than Chelsea that equally lost to Stoke by penalties 5-4 because they may win this season's EPL.

Chelsea is finished. Kudos to Stoke...with 10men

With 10 men still Chelsea lost to stoke. This is unbelievable!!! I have not known what is wrong with the blues this season. They have the performing players yet they lose matches. Why? Does it mean Mourinho is no more a good tactician?

This is a good development for African candidates. But who is CAF supporting for the African FIFA Presidential candidacy? Indeed all African countries are supposed to be united in their pursuit for the FIFA Presidential election as their counterparts in other continents have done

He has learnt his lessons as he refused to grant post-match press interviews after the West Ham match. May be this was to avoid talking too much again because if he had granted the post match interview he might not resist the outburst which he is used to. He wants now to help himself by avoiding to talk. This is good as he has discovered his faults and want to be correct himself now.

You are right. They won silver, I guess. I remember them playing final with Germany or so. Sorry for the misinformation. I still maintain that GEJ's administration experienced a relative improvement in sports(football). I am not ruling out our chance in this administration, though. Govt has little or no influence in football performance. We may even win World cup(senior) under PMB. We keep improving!

I disagree with your statement that govt has little or no influence in football performance. They have major influence because the players need to be seriously motivated both financially and spiritually. If this is lacking in any govt, I doubt the level of performance the team can attain. Gone are the days when players are in high spirit just to defend their Nation without adequate remuneration. This was the case in the 1970s to early 1980s in the days of the Christian Chukwus, Segun Odegbamis, Igboabuchis to mention but a few. That was when orange was the gift to the best player to suck in recognition of a high performance. That was when national pride was seriously the guiding force propelling the players to be in high spirit while playing the game. Such situations does not happen these days because every body now wants money. The money finally comes from the govt. In this way they have serious and heavy influence in the performance of the team.

Its once in a while you have such golden generation. The 2013 set is the best ever u17 to have won the competition. This is closely followed by the 1993 set.

One attribute about this team is the fact that they work for one another. A semi final ticket will be satisfactory

I will not be satisfied with semi-final ticket. Any thing short of the cup is unacceptable. The skill is in them. They have what it takes to deliver if well motivated anyway.
