Fela Durotoye is a motivational speaker. He speaks and backs it up with scriptures and reality. Sincerely, he is a great person. Well, City People definitely must have their reasons for that award but I personally have no one am following up regarding that Award. Let me tell you some things he said at a particular church programme that I attended few months ago: He said you need to achieve some things in life because of certain people. He said those people need that achievement. He gave examples of when he appears in the newspaper and immediately somebody will call his mum and told her we saw your son and his mum will call him and mention it to him also and pray for him. Another of his illustration is that you do not need to brag that you have arrived. He shows on you. He gave instances whereby you do not need to tell people that car is mine. He said when you enter inside the car, key it up, put on the AC, slot in a good Christian music and you start shaking your head to the music and after few minutes you move the car and wave to them; they will conclude whether it is yours! Mostly on careers, he let you know that you must be a deliverer in your company and not just a salary earner. The more you listen to Fela, the more you think about how good things around you can change and not only that, you will appreciate your career, future, etc. Sometimes, there is this zeal that comes up inside of you to constantly be a blessing unto others because those are who great men are. He is a great Motivational speaker I would not miss for a penny. As at last year if am not mistaken, he is the highest paid Motivational Speaker in Lagos not sure if in Nigeria. Congratulations to Fela Durotoye. He is married to Tara. |

Fashion / Re: Tell Us Your Kind Of Perfumes by Motee(f): 10:03am On Jun 03, 2009 |
Sorry I have to divert from the topic a little bit. It is neither strange nor wrong when you see people with 10 or more collections of perfume. If you say we are addicted (better). The issue sometimes is that ‘OUR LIKES” are different. A very close family of mine would rather buy a lace or an Ankara materials with shoes and it’s at least twice a month and they are not that cheap. For me, I prefer to have at least 3 different perfumes every month than go for her taste (despite the fact that I need all these collections of lace, Ankara and so on in my wardrobe especially if you are married). It’s a matter of choice and taste a times and it’s got nothing to do with having enough money to even waste around. More collections Please! Next |

Family / Re: Is It Right To Keep Secret From Your Husband? by Motee(f): 6:51pm On May 19, 2009 |
I think it is wise for couples not to keep secret from one another. Couples should understand each others reaction to issues. Really, not all couples can share all secrets with one another due to each others temperament or how you both respond to issues. Few weeks ago, myself and my husband had to discuss about keeping things from each other and we concluded to be free about it or unless, we will start hiding things from one another. I actually started this discussion with him because he checked my phone behind my back and was jealous when he saw an ex-boyfriend text message on my phone and he did not say anything about it until something else came up. I told him anytime he sees such messages he should ask me because if he keeps showing such attitude without mentioning it and I realized to much of that also, I MIGHT also start deleting some particular messages on my phone instead of just been free about it. From my own side, I actually called the person that sent him a text message that looks funny even though I did not disclose my identity but do you know what, the text message was from an elderly person who is like an Anty!. On a lighter mood, not all secret can be shared! and for those you cannot share wifeys and hussy, please be careful and handle with care. |
Family / Re: Will You Let Your Mother In-law Live With The Family? by Motee(f): 4:41pm On May 19, 2009 |
Some mother-in-laws even avoid coming to the house. Mine will always tell you that she was not brought up that way. If situation like that should arise, i think one should get a separate apartment where she can stay and make things comfortable for her and of cause, the two parties can check on one another. |

Events / Re: Is N75,000 Not Too Much For A Wedding Gown? by Motee(f): 6:52pm On Apr 28, 2009 |
I don't think the issue is the money. I think it all depends on the type of gown you want to wear. Do you want to wear a designer gown or a Taylor lo ran design (which is not also bad as I have seen beautiful ones made by them). If you plan well the cost of the gown can even be much higher than that. Do not also forget that the so called expensive gown might be given as a gift. |

Well, it's a pity for those who have been duped but I think the best thing is to have a customer who you deal with anytime you are there and even when the particular guy is not available call him to introduce you to someone reliable like him. I have been changing from Alade and have never been duped though I deal with just one Mallam. |

The dead person is gone forever but please let us just respect the family of the dead who are still very very much around. Leave Ibinabo Fiberesima as she has been discharged and acquitted by the Law. The sincere truth about life is that "Judgment" is from the Lord to the wrong doers and he does it exactly when, where and how he likes. |
