Family / Re: Should I Get My Brother's Wife Arrested, After His Demise? by Mpanyi: 3:50pm On Apr 25, 2023
dboY1123:
I lost my brother early last month and I have been unsettled and paranoid. He visited us a day before and he was healthy and hearty only for us to hear of his death the next day which was on Sunday.

He was admitted in the Hospital, on the bases that he was short of blood. He took 4/5 pants of blood and stayed 1/2 weeks before he was discharged and that only made him live for a month or so.

I want to know more about his death, exactly what happened. His wife is someone who didn't relate well with us (in laws) and she distanced my brother from us, while he objectively did as well.

This wife didn't visit my mum throughout her stay in the hospital for more than 3 months before my mum passed on a year ago. When I visited the hospital where my brother was rushed to being the same place he was admitted, they told me that he must have been bothered about somethings, and that the drugs he was given parts were hypertensive, that he stopped taking the drugs and all those excuses.

I was informed by the nurses that my brother has been suffering from insomnia, he hardly sleeps in nights and if he does, it's just few hours. All these things, the wife didn't tell us anything.

Now, I want to take the fight to her. I need her to tell me exactly what transpired, how did it happen! She's been in 40 days mandatory sit-at-home stuff and I can't wait to sit her ass down and interrogate her.

Should I get her arrested for questioning by the police?

Excellent!

This is not election season ooh. He did the same when he was Anambra State governor.

Anambra is one of the most detribalised state in the South East. I have visited Onitsha several times with an uncle that sales spare parts in Ikoku when we were growing up. There is a whole area in Onitsha called Fegge. There is Bida and Kaduna Road too. There is Lagos Street in Onitsha. There is also Port harcourt and a big and important market called Agbe- Ijaw named after the shrewd Ijaw merchants and sea fares along the great River.

One thing with Anambra is that they barely see you. They don't know the difference between an Igbo man and any other person in business. Anambra no dey see person tribe na money Dem dey see. You can accuse an Anambra man of other things but you can't accuse Anambra people of tribalism. Anambra used to answer Home for all before it changed to Light of nation. For me that Home for all very well described Anambra.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Can I Answer These Job Interview Questions by Mpanyi: 2:46pm On Apr 23, 2023
Your answer should be tailored towards the requirements for the position you are being interviewed for. Let's say you are being interviewed for a customer service position. Normally you are required to say this in a sentence. So let me assume you have no requisite work experience, you can say 'I am that kind of person that gets restless if, for instance, a friend's problem is not solved and, on time.' in a sentence you have ended up telling them you like solve problems, have great interpersonal relationships skills, time-management skills and you have empathy. All these skills and strengths are needed in customer service. However be careful as you may be tested in what you claim to be immediately without knowing it.

I just got a message for my first job interview it's a four star hotel I applied for an accounting position I'm not even prepared and I feel anxious. Please guru's in the house how did you handle your first interview enlighten me

Learn about the hotel. Gather as much info you can about the hotel. Let them see in your eyes and feel in your voice the passion you have for the position and the industry. If they ask you about you, answer as it relates to your course and the position and your strength/skills. You have be brief and unambiguous about it. If there's anything great you have achieved before, you can add it. Good luck

So sorry for what your boy is passing through and the pain you go through seeing this and being helpless at the same time.

I don't know of any solution. But whatever solutions being suggested here take note of the fact that you said once you use something to wash his head it appears as if he is tasting the thing. So the implication is the protection of his head skin has been breached and some chemicals can penetrate right to his brain. And you know brain is life.

Of all the suggestions here, though I have not been able to read all of them, I think suggestion for honey looks good. Good honey, unadulterated. I hope you find a solution.

Leave God matter for God. Answering or not answering prayer is God's responsibility. Yours as a human is to pray or not to pray

After going through some rantings of people here who obviously think they know more than God, I decided to add to my earlier post. If God doesn't hear prayers for the death how come the Scripture advises us in 1 John 5:16 to pray for our brothers who committed certain types of sin and God will give them life?

Some people here forming and claiming nonsense. I say once again, leave God matter for God.

The way women insult and berates their husband because of money is so annoying. So long as the man has money, the home will be very peaceful, but pray hard that the money doesn't finish, you will know you're living with a devil under the same roof.

For God's sake, why can't she allow her husband to bath ordinary hot water, just because she refilled the gas with her own money. I'm sure when the man was refilling the gas himself he has never ordered the wife not to come close to it.
.....
Some months ago we read the story of a man that beat his wife to death because of mere loaf of bread.
After coming back from work, he saw some bread in the house and wanted to take some, but the wife refused, because she bought the bread with her money, that's how fight broke out between the couple, I pity some families sha.

RIP to the dead..

It's only man's money that should be eaten. Still if you check it well it's change from the previous monies the man must have given her. Now devil has destroyed the man that came home to rest from a hard day at work. Men and women please know you are to provide for each other

Never said anything was Gods doing... It was the op who said God saves him and allowed others to die! He brought in God into the equation, hence my disagreement.

If God gave us brain to do what we like and make choices, how then does God save the op and not save others? Did the others use their brain to die? Did the op use his brain to survive. Where and why did God selectively come in in this situation

I didn't see where OP said God allowed others to die. Human beings allowed others to die. Not God. If the road was wide enough and good, the lorry or whatever would probably have had room to maneuver. If the driver of the lorry had serviced it, the accident probably wouldn't have happened. If many other things had happened, the accident would not have probably happened. Whoever survived should be thankful. There is something you are enjoying others are not enjoying elsewhere, you cannot use because others are not enjoying it and not be thankful, to God or to whatever you believe in. Let's rejoice with those that are rejoicing. It's not their faults. For those that are victims, let's keep them in our thoughts and work for such a thing not to happen again.

He is not wallowing in foolishness, rather he is asking the right questions... Since u have found out why, why not tell him instead of insulting him.. Why did a God save the op and not others...

Peoplr died here and u are quick to dismiss them like they were animals.. Exactly, if the op had died and another survived in that accident, u wouldnt have even bothers to care but still go ahead and thank ur seemingly psycho God

Believe whatever you want to believe. This is not any attempt to get you to change your belief.

God has created man and given man brain to conquer the world. He put him at the head of what he created. What any man (nations ) does with his brain is up to the person. That's why if one wants to commit suicide God will not stand in his way. If one wants to find out how to make an accident-free vehicle God will not stop him.

I may go on and on especially as it touches the victims and the survivors but it may not be well understood by some.

In essence what you and your friend should have done is to be happy with the person that survived while suggesting on how to make our traveling very safe, or even doing it if you guys have the power. Not to point accessing fingers at what is above you. Accident doesn't just happen. Human error is always to blame. It's never God's. You as an individual, and as a human being , has what it takes to stop that accident. So don't shy away from your responsibility as a man with such a great brain that understands everything about God and or His non-existence.

Ah ah. Haba. This is extreme. Demotion or other forms of less severe punishment would have been better. Unless they had been cautioned in the past about the same behavior or caused grievous harm to anybody in the process, I don't see any sense in the outright sack.
