What's the point in arguing with a mad man??

Fake nonsense. The Shroud of Turin is a proven fraud. It is just a piece of art that is no where near 2000 years old.

A piece of art. Reproduce that art as a proof!

Education / Re: MFM Has Highest Number Of First-Class Graduates In Nigeria - Olukoya by Mpanyi: 3:42pm On Aug 19
Gbadugbakun:

Shut up your gutter mouth. Dr Olukoya isn't the reason why your life is miserable. Hold your leaders accountable and leave him alone.

From your being everywhere here and defending this baseless claim, I suspect you are one of the so-called first class graduates. And if you are really one, it is so unfortunate and the university from which you got that should be closed down without further delay.
Education / Re: MFM Has Highest Number Of First-Class Graduates In Nigeria - Olukoya by Mpanyi: 3:35pm On Aug 19
Gboom:

MFM's statement remains the fact until other denominations you mentioned come out and replicate the feat with a superior figure.
You and your like's opinion does not count because you have no verified information to counter MFM's claim

The onus lies on your pastor to provide the figure, not any other person. Don't think any church like Methodist, Anglican or even Catholic is in competition with him. He can't just open mouth and make some wild claims.
Education / Re: MFM Has Highest Number Of First-Class Graduates In Nigeria - Olukoya by Mpanyi: 3:23pm On Aug 19
Gbadugbakun:

So you ignored the fact that he's giving over 400 people 250k to find fault in a statement he made. No wonder your life is so miserable and you're not moving forward.

You can twist the thing for all you want. I won't join issues with you Mr determiner of those that are miserable and those that are moving forward. We will know how far after a while.

Gbadugbakun:

He said he stands to be corrected. I was at the service live don't misquote him please.

He stands to be corrected. So why make an unverified, bogus claim that could turn out to be a lie? No honor in such claims bro. It's better he reeled out the number of first class graduates from his church and leave it at that. For me, that will be more honorable.

I didn’t know Hunger has mouth to deceive people ..

These crazy guys don’t know what’s up. The North is naturally improvised because they are used as willing tools for election numbers by irresponsible northern leaders like Adamu who is still an apprentice.

Nobody deceived anyone. They only showed their true colors.

If Buhari was still President with the same issues we are facing here . They won’t Protest.

Even if a goat is Nigeria’s President , just tell them it’s a Fulani goat that’s the President , they will never protest.

How did I know ?

They never protested against any Fulani leader. But once it’s a Southerner they suddenly remember they can protest.

If they want to burn down their region, they can burn it down!

They should not export their madness and illiteracy to the south.

Tinubu is not GEJ. He is a Mafia, He will neither bend nor fold.

President, a mafia? Nothing I won't hear.

The snake Moses moulded.... Was it to be worshipped?

The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live."

See what you are talking? Why should God tell Moses to mould image? Something you guys said he forbade! Why should they look at the snake instead of looking at God? So if you are down with a disease you can look up at Amadioha or Sango? Obviously you guys don't have any other accusations to make seeing that Father clearly gave apt Bible quotations!
Religion / Re: Why Catholics Use Images At Worship - Catholic Priest Artist Fr. Nnadi Explains by Mpanyi: 1:28pm On Jul 21
MasterJayJay:
Every catholic priest will misquote the bible to defend their faith.

Where did Jesus christ told us to pray to Mary? All through the book of acts of apostles, no apostle was praying to Mary.

You didn't say anything about images again because his explanation was biblical. Now it's about praying to whoever. When he explains that one too to you you would be silence about it again and look for another childish accusation against Catholic. Catholic pass you guys.
Religion / Re: Why Catholics Use Images At Worship - Catholic Priest Artist Fr. Nnadi Explains by Mpanyi: 1:13pm On Jul 21

All i have to say is that we are living in End of the Endtimes times! We are living in Prophetic times.

The foot soldiers of the lawless one aka the antichrist are all over the place. Nothing is being Hidden any more.
Everything is set and ready to go.

The Only thing holding them from taking over the World Stage is the Church and Bride of Christ who are still Here on Earth.
But anytime anyday now, the Greatest Mystery of Humanity will Hit the Earth! Millions will Suddenly Vanish in a Twinkling of an Eye.

Then All Hell will be Let loose on this sinking Earth.
Prepare Folks! Live in this last times with in the Conciousness of your Eternity. Make Peace with JESUS CHRIST. Live on obedient to HIS word , so you will be among those to Escape what is Coming on this sinking World

Religion / Re: The Sad Story Of How A Youth Pastor Fell Into Fornication And How The Church … by Mpanyi: 8:59am On Jun 30
Daejumong:
He fell into fornication, got publicly rebuked, disgraced and demoted by the church and the rest is history ! The true life story of a Christian Youth leader in Nigeria.

Brother K was a devout, fervent Christian believer and worker in the church. He served in the Youth department where he helped groom adolescents and teenagers in the way of the Lord in church!

He was tall, strikingly handsome and a smart dresser! Even though he attended a church with strict laws on modest dressing , he made sure his modest outfits were well ironed and starched. He loved God! He was in church almost every evening after working as a teacher in the day! He was loved and admired by all! He was in his late twenties and single.

He was the only Born again Christian in his family. He however mistakenly fell into fornication! The news got to the church leadership and they took decisive actions.

The church pastor called him out during Sunday service and told the whole church how he fell into fornication, stripped him of his position, asked people to avoid him and that He prays God would restore him!

Bro K was shattered. He wished the ground could open and swallow him! The embarrassment was too much for him to bear! All the young guys and converts he taught in church looked at him with disdain and disappointment!

He continued coming to the church in the weeks that followed but you could see he was depressed. He avoided eye contact and became reclusive. Everyone avoided him - Nobody wanted to be seen with a publicly condemned sinner and backslider!

About three months after the public rebuke, he couldn’t take it any longer! The mental torture was too much and he decided that rather than commit suicide he would leave church and Christianity and go into the world and find solace !

Bro K transitioned into a playboy! He used women to cure his depression! They loved him and helped him heal when the church deserted him! He hasn’t returned to the church, the last I heard of him!

2 Timothy 2:25
25 Be gentle when you try to teach those who are against what you say. God may change their hearts so they will turn to the truth.

I know this may be for a lesson but it teaches a lot of things.

First, temptation will come to you from your position. Pray hard to stand firm when it comes for it will definitely come.

Secondly, when you fail, ask for forgiveness and get back up.

Thirdly, the church leader obviously acted out of mundane self-righteousness for calling him out. He was used by the devil to completely destroy that son of God that needed his help to recover spiritually. Calling him out is a no no. From the story, his sin was not a public sin. So why make it public? The church leader may even be worse sinner just that his sins have not been made known.

This is one of the reasons I don't like some of these pentecostal churches that spring up here and there and think they know it all.

Also this reminds me of a sinner that came to confession at hand of a priest. You know this Catholic kind of confession where it's one on one with the priest. The sinner said it had been years he came for confession. The priest started scolding him for waiting so long. He now told the priest that it's this similar action by the priest that he went to confession at his hand that made him stop coming to confession.

You don't go too hard on a sinner. A sinner is wounded spiritually. All he needs is your support to recover.

This news appears to be a welcome development but in the long run it will be catastrophic. Henceforth, they may not spare any of their victims even after collecting ransom.

What we need is a total clampdown on the activities of kidnappers. There should be land and air operatives working round the clock to secure the release of victims. Unfortunately, these kidnappers are treated with kids gloves and they are operating with impunity.

Forget, it has always been catastrophic. One way or another some criminals will always be caught. It's a welcome development intoto

FANTASTICrebel:
You see this Army Job?
I mean serving in the Nigerian Army is the most ridiculous, shameful decision anyone would make. Bunch of local, unpatriotic, selfish and unorganized force in the whole world.
I still regret my service in the Army, and I hope the country is divided soonest, so everyone can be responsible enough to perform real time military service.

I was badly damaged for the years I served till date. I wake up everyday with invincible scars, trauma nightmare pains and guilt.
It was in that job I committed suicide 2wice. I actually died twice, but my body refused to die.
I faced malice, no love, hatred I began hating myself.
They stole my innocence, I became a condemned material.
God has always had interest in my life, cos he never gave up on me.
I'm now a new creature in Christ Jesus and I'm gradually unlearning and relearning.

I can't give my service where my opinions/safety are neglected/disrespected. Where merits are ignored and mediocrity exalted.

Thank God for your life sir
