Politics / Kano Re-run: Kano Professionals In Europe Express Support For Ganduje by MrAJQ(m): 6:57pm On Mar 16, 2019
Professionals of different backgrounds, from bankers, journalists, lawyers, engineers and other development experts, that are based in Europe and America, under the platform of Kano Professionals Guide, with its headquarters in London, have sent a solidarity message to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, for the gubernatorial re-run election.

The letter dated 15th Friday, 2019 and signed by Dr Abdullahi Sani Malam, commended Ganduje for developmental projects put across the state since his assumption of office from 29th May, 2015.

“Before we send this important letter, as bonafide Kano citizens, we conducted research and became satisfied that all we need to do, is to put our support for your second coming Your Excellency Sir,” the letter read, according to a statement by Abba Anwar, chief press secretary to Ganduje.

“For them, the re-run election taking place on the 23rd of this month, they maintained and assured that Kano people are sensible and desirous of the continuation of the good policies and programmes which the administration of governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje depicts”.

According to the letter, the hundreds of Kano citizens residing in Europe and America, resolved to garner more support for Ganduje through their families and friends, who are living in the areas affected by the re-run election.

“It is on record that, governor Ganduje moves our state forward. And we shall remain focused and committed to this show of good governance. Which our dear governor symbolizes.

“Since when the election was declared inconclusive, we came to realise that, it was Allah who saves the state from being trapped,” the letter read.

“We have been engaging in one strategy or the other in trying to see that Ganduje emerges victorious. We are glad and encouraged to note that, the governor remains optimistic and focused for winning this election.”

While urging people to vote massively for governor Ganduje, they also called on people to conduct their affairs peacefully during the re-run election period, insisting that, “…as peaceful as Ganduje’s political behaviour, we are sure that his supporters will also be peaceful during the re-run period.”

Oh my Nigeria...

its a pity we are in the times the Judiciary, the supposed third arm of Govt of the Nation now deems it fit to take authority from the Executive before discharging it's duties...

How low can we go?... where is the pride in training our babies to become lawyers..

Another institution bites the dust.

It unfortunate that we have people like you who only read headline without reading the news body or who chose to give interpretation of the news to what suit you.

Many of those who are outside Kaduna state will not understand this. The truth is if CAN had not be preaching for its members not to vote El-Rufai and making it seem like a religious affairs, sharing memo that they have to defeat Islamic agenda in the state PDP would have won Kaduna.

Because El-Rufai stepped on many toes in fact he stepped on more Muslims toes than the Christian toes.

Only those in Kaduna can understand
