Travel / Visa To Morrocco by MrC5: 1:21pm On Apr 21, 2015
Hello,
I am planning a wedding in Morrocco for a good friend. My friends and I intend to be in Morrocco for just 3 days. We are all well travelled, but most have only the Nigerian passport.

I want information on how to get visa in Lagos without ALL of us showing up at their embassy (I am aware their embassy is in Abuja).

From all I have heard so far, it is quite confusing making a decision.
#An friend told me we all must show up in Abuja at their embassy....
#Another said it is not required, only one of us can take everyone's application and submit as personal appearance is not required;
#The Agency I spoke to claimed we all pay some ridiculous amount of the money....the amount even costs more than the ticket.

Can anyone from experience confirm if:
1. Non-appearance is possible at the Moroccan embassy?
2. Morrocco has a rep office here in Lagos?
3. An agency or someone who can assist in getting the visa with a reasonable fee?

Thanks.

We move forward by these idiots being shamed and forced to pay back every single naira they took!

The fault is not with the media(shock horror) but the useless greedy bastards in charge of these loans and the greedy RICH bastards who took the loans.  We Nigerians have a disease of greed and constant 419ing it has to stop.  If these people are shamed into repaying or they are jailed because of failure to repay maybe we will have a chance to rid ourselves of the greed that is killing our progress

*These people are greedy bastards, agreed.
*They should be shamed (that is already raising some debate in other corners if how the EFCC has gone about it is right).
If we invest on our precious brain cells on critizing those that have done us wrong (by the way, what happened to all our post and comments targeting the Iboris and the Harliburtons of this world), how would we get out of our current mess?If we are successful at punishing them and getting rid of them, what strategy is in place to manage the bank/ process they left behind (bearing in mind, nobody has spent much time thinking about that?) or would we do what we Nigerians love doing best; that is pay some exparts a lot of money to do f**k all?

All the sectors in our economy are at the point of complete collapse.
And the latest victims are the banks. We really should start developing constructive questions on recruiting the EDs, corporate governance, risk management and measure to ensure what took place does not reoccur again.

Something about Nigerians I have noticed is that we are specialists in blaming and persecuting but not proffering sustainable solutions.

I have to admit, I am getting a bit unimpressed by the way the media is cashing in on this banking news crisis. From rough estimates, I would say about 70% of Nigerians are either badly educated or stark illiterate with no abilities to conduct thorough analysis (for themselves) before drawing a conclusion on the current situation. Such misinformation could further increase panic withdrawals which, if not well managed, could collapse all these banks.
Now imagine all the businesses tied to these banks,
• imagine the impact of a job loss on an already depressed economy (these banks employ about 30% of the banking industry’s employees)
• imagine what will happen to all the businesses that depend on the purchase of the staff for survival
• imagine the struggling real economy businesses & trader who rely on the instrument provided by these bank to successfully conduct transaction and do business (the cost of change and the possible loss if no viable alternative can emerge)
Putting all these into perspective will just reveal one simple fact; we are leading this country into a recession.

I really don’t care if these bank MDs messed up nor if this was a northern agenda. These are modalities that all our comments can not do anything about. The question on the mind of every educated mind, every commentator, and every media article should be:
HOW DO WE MOVE FORWARD??
