mimi234: Eh, you got ripped off then. Sorry about that. Accommodation isn't set to rise so £250 is around that price a week. mimi234: Rephrase that line cause that didn't make sense, or I just didn't understand, 3 Likes |

Computers / Re: Best Antivirus To Use by mrcheeky(m): 8:47pm On Feb 16, 2012 |
Avast, from a professional point of view, is the best anti-virus software, 2nd to AVG Avast is fast, clean and easy to use. The ability of opening EXE (execution files) in Sandbox makes your system less capable of adapting viruses when downloaded a file. AVG is really good and does the job, however it really eats the CPU slowing down the computer which can drive you insane if you have a slow system. |
TV/Movies / Re: Can't Yoruba Movies Do Without This Two Things? by mrcheeky(m): 8:41pm On Feb 16, 2012 |
Nigerian movies are total rubbish. I wonder why Nollywood Movies exists on my Sky + HD box! Every time I come into the living room when my mum is watching Nollywood, all you hear is "I AM YOUR BROTHER" music: dun dun dun!!! then heartbeats. And they pull off that stupid facial expression as if the person has come from planet Pluto Cinematography is pathetic, you really need to work on it. Editing needs to be readdressed. How can you be using stylish-looking high performance cameras to record on-set and the editing downgrades the quality of the film to a substantial volume?! Shooting and consulting a herbalist? Oh God help our country, Nigeria, fix up |
TV/Movies / Re: 'Naruto' Fever in Nigerian Universities by mrcheeky(m): 8:34pm On Feb 16, 2012 |
Naruto is total rubbish! Forgive me but I dislike it, nothing really special about it tbh. The dubbed episodes in English are even worse, One Piece, Bleach and The Boondocks are the real animes you should be watching! Fairy Tail is not bad but it's boring 1 Like |

I was born in the UK. Parents are Nigerian. I would say it is very TOUGH to get a job here in England due to the economic crisis. Inflation is increasing and jobs are decreasing so it is very hard to survive here. You'd end up applying to 20-50 jobs a day with no result, lucky enough to even get an interview Accommodation isn't cheap. Some starting from £250 per week (N62,425 a week) which isn't righteous for Nigerians. Looks like a mission to get that money right? To those who are travelling to this country looking for work and education I'd advise you to come prepared, have a plan and survive! 7 Likes |
