If I need any, it is just a matter of www.google.com , type whatever picture I want, click on image and DANG!!!! there it pops up!!! www.live.map.com would even show me the whole city of Barcelona or if it is Milan I want to look up either. Thank God also for google earth.

My people it hasnt been easy anticipating the outcome of my appeal. Just can't wait to ease out my work stress. I'm awaiting my determination letter which is due anytime soon and i am ferverently praying for good news. Please pray that God favours me. This is the 8th month now and my hearing came up after March 19th. Should i still hang on and wait for the letter or should i mail AIT and make enquiries about my case. Your responses will be highly appreciated,

Was your hearing decided on Papers or Oral? Anyway, nothing stops you from sending an email to AIT to know the determination of your appeal, although I know they will tell you to wait for the determination in your post box.

I am of the opinion that there should be a general thread for Visa enquiries. Questions bothering on general visa questions can be dropped therein.

A lot posters just open up threads to ask a single line of question, and off they go never to return to the same thread again, and then again another new poster comes with the same thread asking the same question over again. If there is a general thread for such, it will create some form of sanity on our beloved travel section. While there is a general UK Visa Appeal thread meant for Visa Appeal Issues, it can tend to be confusing for posters to know which is more appropiate, however I am of the idea that a general Visa Enquiry thread should exist to make things more neat on the forum.

I am also of the opinion it can be used to raise awareness to new Visa Immigration Rules and Policies in the UK as it often changes over time.

Therefore, I am in full support of the opening of the thread.

The onus is on you the applicant to show the credibility in your application. Given the fact you had no errors in your application, I am of the view that this application was wrongfully determined.

MY REASONS:
1) The ECO did not find a fault with your own documents and supporting documents

2) You have clearly shown that you meet the immigration rules and you closely observed the rules when making this application

3) If the ECO had any misgivings about the credibility of your sponsor, he could have easily verified it out. There is a postcode address book which every clearance officers have, upon which he can verify to know the veracity of the claims of your sponsor.

4) The ECO did not at any point in the refusal notice state that he made calls to the house to actually confirm his suspicions

5) The errors observed from your sponsor should be put on you. It only shows there is an error somewhere which should not have affected your application, as you are been made to pay for the error of the system as observed from the ECO.

Let me see what others view in respect to this case.
