The most wanted notorious kidnap ring Leader in the Ikorodu axis of Lagos state, Mufutau Timileyin Sulaimon aka Pencil, was shot dead during an operation in the state yesterday Sunday, June 24th.

Pencil was declared wanted by the Lagos state command in March after he led his deadly gang to kidnap and murder two bureau de change operators at Ikorodu on March 14th.

Confirming his demise, the state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, said Pencil and his gang were responsible for the mysterious disappearance of people in Ikorodu over a period of time whom they kidnapped, demanded for ransom, murdered and dumped them in septic tank.

Three members of his gang were earlier arrested by SARS operatives and they led the operatives to their den at Ikorodu where corpses of the two Bureau de change operators and two other victims were recovered.

A sustained monitoring of the fugitive ring leader finally yielded positive results as the team eventually traced him to his hideout at Odogunya, Ikorodu. On sighting the team led by Dsp Rotimi ogunmuyiwa, the said Mufutau Timileyin Sulaimon 'm' popularly known as Pencil engaged the team in a gun battle. Two SARS operatives namely Sgt Omola Adedeji and Sgt Oluwadare Gbenga sustained various degree of injuries, while pencil sustained bullet wound on the two legs and were all taken to hospital.

While Pencil was confirmed dead on arrival, the two injured operatives were taken to intensive care Unit and are responding to treatment.

Go to Cloudflare.com, Click on Signup and input your email and choose a password

Then click on “Create Account”.

Now, input the URL of your website.

Select the Free Plan and Confirm Plan.

Click Confirm.

Now, on the next page, the DNS records page will be displayed for you.

No need to worry, Cloudflare will provide you with the DNS records from your domain registrar.
What you need to do is to enable them all;

Toggle all the records status to ON, just click on them to show the yellow symbol.

Perhaps, some of the records might not have the status option to toggle ON or OFF. Just leave them like that. Depending on your record.

Next, is to click Continue.

On the next page, Cloudflare is going to display your current Nameserver and a new set of Nameservers which you are going to change to.

Here, I use Domainking and I will be using domainking registrar for this article.

If your domain is being registered with Domainking, then you are lucky because this guide will help you achieve all easily.

Perhaps, if you are using other domain registrars aside Domainking, to change your nameserver; just type the sentence below into Google search engine.

(How to change nameservers for my “domain registrar name” domain).

Example: “How to change nameservers for my Guarantor domain” or “How to change nameservers for my Namecheap domain” etc.

Now, for Domainking users, simply login to your domainking account dashboard;

Click on “My Domains”.

Locate the domain name and at the far right corner, click the arrow button as seen in the image above.

Go to “Nameservers” select "use custom nameservers".

Then, replace the nameserver with the new one provided to you by Cloudflare.

And that’s all. It will take a few minutes for the nameservers to propagate. Now, let’s continue while it’s still propagating.

The first setting to be done is the SSL Certificate Setup.

On your Cloudflare dashboard account , check the top navigation buttons and select “Crypto”.

Once it displays, you will see the SSL Section.

Change it from “Full” to “Full (strict)” as seen in the image above.

Scroll down and locate the “Always use HTTPS” at the far right. Switch it to ON.

Also, locate the “Automatic HTTPS Rewrites” and switch to ON.

That is all for switching HTTPS on Cloudflare.


Now, the next setting is to create Page Rules to help redirect users.

Then the settings are: select "Always use HTTPS" from the drop-down.

Or besides, choose “Always Online” as seen in the image above.

NOTE: If your nameservers have not finished propagating, you will not find the “Always use HTTPS” Option.

Now, click on Save and deploy.

Then the settings are select "Forwarding URL" from the drop-down; then on the right side, select “301 – Permanent Redirect".

Then, paste this https://www.yourblogname.com/$1 at the box beneath.

Click on Save and deploy.

Then the settings are select "Forwarding URL" from the drop-down and on the right side, select "301 - Permanent Redirect".

Lastly, make sure the three rules are arranged just as shown in the image below.

Alright, that is all on the Page Rules Setup. Make sure you set the page rules properly very well to avoid conflicting and errors.

On your Cloudflare navigation tab, locate the “Firewall” Options; then click on settings.

For the “Security Level”, turn it to "Low" as seen in the above image.

Finally, let’s see the last stage. This is the one I like so much, it has really increased my blog page loading speed.

Thus, candidates do not need to panic unless of course, they cheated in their exams.

JAMB postpones release date of 2019 UTME results
JAMB who promised the results of the 2019 UTME would be released on Monday 29th, April have through their head of media and publicity, Fabian Benjamin said the results were not going to be released on Monday and not on Tuesday too.
According to him, the delay was because the board had not concluded the process of the exercise.
“We will not release it today, Monday (April 29) and will not release it tomorrow, Tuesday (April 30).
“What we said was anytime within this week. By implication, we are concluding the screening exercise this week and results can be released anytime within the week,” he said.
Why JAMB has not released the results
JAMB has said the results of the 2019 UTME will be released as soon as reports from the 687 Computer Based Test centres used for the conduct of the examination are reviewed.
The board said the review of reports from these centres will be concluded on Monday or Tuesday.
JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin said, “We are comparing reports from the field and as soon as we finish either today or tomorrow, we will commence the process of releasing the results.
“We are collecting reports from 687 centres. The results will be released as soon as we finish what we are doing.”
JAMB warns against fraudsters
JAMB had warned 2019 UTME candidates against fraudsters who deploy various methods to dupe them.
The JAMB board disclosed this in its Vol. 1, No 17 weekly Bulletin of the Office of the Registrar and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Abuja.
JAMB also advised candidates to jealously guard their Registration numbers, as well as Profile Codes to avoid falling victims to the scam.
“Candidates are to note that their Registration numbers and Profile Codes are essential data that should not be disclosed to unauthorized persons.
“What these fraudsters do is take advantage of candidates’ naivety and subsequently obtain their registration number with which they print their examination notification slips with candidate’s numbers and other vital data.
“These fraudsters then use the information to send messages to same candidates disguising as officials of the board or persons who have special information, access and capacity to inflate scores, among other things.
“We, therefore, urge candidates to see their registration numbers and profile codes as security data similar to that of the ATM pin number which admits them to make a withdrawal from their bank accounts.”

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Monday said that candidates who sat for the 2019 UTME should not expect results earlier than Wednesday.

According to JAMB, it is yet to release results but would do so within the week.
This was made know by JAMB’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja. According to him, results would be released officially “anytime” within the week.

He made this known so as to prevent candidates from expecting results from the first two days of the week because the board has yet to conclude the process of the exercise.
Benjamin said, “We will not release it today, Monday; and we will not release it tomorrow, Tuesday.


“What we said was anytime within this week. By implication, we are concluding the screening exercise this week and results can be released anytime within the week.”

Benjamin had earlier (last week) said that the 2019 UTME results would be released anytime from Monday, April 29.

A 37-year-old man, Segun Obasanjo and five others have been arrested by the police in Lagos selling Indian hemp in a market.



Arrested with Obasanjo were Job Omesi, 16, Ayomide Samuel, 21, Buhari Oseni, 27, Muda Haruna,30, and Suraju Ayuba, 28, police spokesman Bala Elkana, a Deputy Superintendent (DSP), says in a statement on Sunday.

They were nabbed during a raid of Alaba Rago Market by operatives attached to Okoko Police Division on Saturday afternoon.

He states that the suspects were openly selling Indian hemp.



Besides the suspects, Elkana says six others were held for alleged cultism at about 10:30 am by policemen attached to Area ‘J’ Command in connection with a clash that left four persons dead at Ajah, Lagos, on April 14.

“Babatunde Wasiu, 30, Bolaji Elijah, 25, Joseph Timothy, 32, Bolaji Olayiwola, 22, Saheed Lateef, 22, and Julius Augele, 20, were arrested in connection with a clash between Eiye and Aiye cults on April 14, at General Paint, Ajah.

“The clash left four Aye cultists dead. Axes and jack knives, which they used during the clash, were recovered from them. Four suspects were earlier arrested and charged to court in connection with the incident, bringing the number of suspects arrested to 10.

“The Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos is investigating the case and the suspects will be arraigned,” he says.
