He WANTED us. God created man with the intent of having something to share His love with and to be loved by. You might say, well, that failed. True, but it was not God's fault. God gave man free-will. He could have very easily created some human robots that loved Him and did what He said no matter what. That would be great, but think of this. If you love someone, and they love you because they think they HAVE to, or because they think it is the right thing to do, that is a far different love from someone that WANTS to love you. That is why God did it. He wanted that kind of love. When we choose to love and choose to obey, that is greater and more far reaching than anything we could ever imagine.

The gun is something dangerous and was kept in the center of the house when the logical thing was to keep it far away from the kids.
the fact that the people we are dealing with are children and are prone to foolishness, so why would a loving father place a weapon within the reach of kids and warn them not to touch it knowing fully well that he is dealing with kids who are not mentally prepared for the world, innocent and therefore curious?
is that a wise thing to do? give kids a test they are bound to fail?

What you just succeeded in telling us is that the standards at the time of mohamed were low and mohammed subscribed to this pathetically low standards yet he is supposed to be islam's best example one would have thought a genuine prophet of God would raise the standards of his people and not institutionalise the low standards as part of his sunnah.

unlike Christianity who had Jesus the 'son of God', Islam had Mohammed who was a human being and not divinity, so don't expect him to start raising human standards, when he was only human.

God can be thought to exist just by observing the law of cause and effect, everything must have an origin, but if God is the origin of all things then what is the origin of God.
This is where the problem lies, we cannot call it God if it had an origin, whatever sparked the Big Bang must be causeless, must have transcended all humanity's flaws, emotions and prejudice, this would make God devoid of personality as well and imo consequently beyond our reach of understanding.
If there is God indeed, we as a race are way too primitive to grasps what it should be like, the only thing we can infer is that God simply has a will to create evident by physical world. The how's and why's is beyond the reach of man, a primitive species who still struggles to conquer himself, not to talk of the creator.

what is God? what makes us classify something as God, what are the characteristics? what are the attributes? is there a yard stick here?
If there is, does your perceived concept of what God is or should be fit these criteria?
Would God be masculine or feminine or both, will she/he be vengeful, jealous, kind, partial, emotional . Basically is what we call God the creator of the billions of galaxies and inestimable universes have human attributes?? why would he concern himself/herself with mere man? If there is a God...
I choose to be agnostic on this, man with all his religions and flawed, limited cognition is incapable of understanding what God is. We haven't evolved to that level.
Be rational and strip away the bias of religion from your mind, reexamine everything uve been taught.
And if ure faithful to urself, u will become as that inquisitive child u want to indoctrinate...

@ op I have pondered these questions u ask a while ago and I have come to certain conclusions.
it isn't only Christianity that has its adherents struggling to keep up with the moral standards of the religion,but it is a problem that plagues all other religions.

To be frank, the op question isn't stupid. Not everyone is attracted to black punna, some guys are repulsed by it, so I get where the op is coming from.
