***This is my husband's experience as the applicant*** Goodluck and wish you the same good news!!! I scanned and uploaded my documents on the UKVCAS website a few days before my appointment date. Documents were listed and arranged as shown below. Arrived at the centre at about 9am for a 10:30am appointment. Did my biometric using a self service computer machine and later attended to by a lady who cross checked my scanned documents and asked if am ok with the scanned documents and also if I would like to add any other document that have not been uploaded b4. I was ok with what I had initially uploaded. She submitted it and did not collect the originals I brought along with me. I finished b4 10am and by 1pm had gotten an email approval for my extension. Good evening everyone, hope you are all keeping well. My husband submitted his application on-line for FLR M on Friday, 3rd of May, 2019 (priority option). He tried endlessly to book an appointment in Croydon for the 9th of May, 2019 online but he kept on getting an error message saying "We are currently experiencing issues, please try again". In the end, he had to call the customer service number and he has been booked in for the 23rd of May, 2019 I got my employment letter from HR which is dated the 25th of April and my payslips and bank statements from November 2018 to April 2019. Now, my question is.....are my documents within the 28 days rule from when my husband submitted his application (3rd of May, 2019) or from the date when my employment letter was written. I get paid on the last Friday of each month, will my April payslip also be ok? I am quite confused at the moment |

Hi, I successfully applied for US visa after living here for 4 months. I am guessing you are a British citizen, he should go for the interview with your passport as that was the only thing they checked when I was interviewed and his BRP of course. That is not to say he should not have any other relevant documents with him. All the best. Thanks a lot for this...much appreciated!!!!! |

Good evening everyone, hope you are all doing well. Please, I need advise/information from anyone who has a UK spouse visa and has travelled to US for holidays. My husband has a spouse visa which we will be applying for the FLR early next year. We had applied for a Canadian visa for him last year and he was refused visa due to travel history, he had only been in the UK for 8 months. We would like to visit the US this Christmas and would really appreciate if anyone with a UK Spouse visa and has had any experience of applying for a US visa and could share that with us. |
