Good morning my fellow nairalanders,
I just want to make my own personal contribution to this ongoing indefinite strike by NLC.
I believe they are making the wrong demands even though I agree with them that there needs to be a a strike it should be for a different reason,such as hike in prices,increase in the cost of petroleum products,high cost of transportation,high electricity tariff and so on.
I will advice that instead of salary increase they should have stand for the president to bring down the prices of this things I mention above and possible open the boarders for now in other to stabilise the economy,
I must say even though the salary is increases to #400,000,it will lead to more inflation as too many cash will be chasing few goods at a higher rate.
Remember those that are not earning salaries are waiting for you to collect from government so they can collect from you,even your landlords and market women,because it's through you the salary earners that they feed their own needs.
Labour please thing twice and have a change of heart ,clamour for the most relevant which is the high price of goods and services instead of salary increase,so that you will be fighting a good cause that concerns everybody and see the massive support like occupy nigeria.
