On Friday 16th of september....I got a mail from CIC that my account has been update, I was nervous and quickly login to my CIC account...and to i saw that my application is been closed and refused .. After waiting for a complete three months. i felt/still feeling bad but theres nothing i can do. and i don't think there's anything wrong with my application.

Below are some details about my application;

Application Date: 16th Of June 2016

Refusal Date: 16th Of September 2016

Age: 19

Course Of Study: Advanced Diploma In Computer Engineering

Duration Of Study: 3 years

Uncle/Sponsors Account: 13 Million Naira

Sponsors Declaration: 2 Million Naira Each Year

I don't think theres anything wrong with my application... I've requested for admission deferral in my school (Conestoga College) and will be reapplying for VISA very soon. and please how do i know the reason for my refusal (I need someones help ASAP).since i've been following this thread I've not seen any Adv Diploma student been approved before, Just wondering if there is and please If there is... Make Some Noise.

my application is 16weeks and they just updated my biometrics to 'not needed at this time " just yesterday ...so u still gat some time to wait. .cause ds people r just not serious.

My application is now 10 weeks and i haven't yet get a medical mail.

Q. Have any advanced diploma applicant been contacted by CIC so far?

And please, adv diploma applicants should be making noise in this thread cuz I hardly see adv diploma applicants talk here.

@MichV, please I didn't include evidence of enrolment and tuition payment when I applied for TRV in June. My tuition payment deadline is on 17th August i.e. Wednesday. I made payment on the 5th of August and the school confirmed receipt of the payment on 7th. Do you think I should use CSE to inform CIC on the payment? I also have an official confirmation of enrolment from the school. My app is 8weeks old.

All u need to do is scan the confirmation letter for ur payment and send it to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca

The same thing happened to me...I'll include a screenshot of my conversation with VFS GLOBAL Support chat.

Make sure you put your details (Tracking Id, Reference Number, Passport Number etc) when sending it to them so that they can easily trace your application and add it to support your VISA processing.

Your not alone. Am also in the same shoes with you too. I have Sept 6th as my first day of Advance Diploma lecture. The truth is that you have no right to contact CIC since your application is just 2 months old. The processing time for Nigerians is 12 - 14 weeks and usually cic would advise applying 3 months earlier for study permit to avoid deadline rush. I'd just advise you wait for this week for your medical call. If you don't get a medical call then it's best to differ it to January to be on a safe side. My application was sent mid June and am yet to get a medical mail like you too.

you don't have to now cos ur app is still under normal processing time in reference to what is specified on their website. CSE is a medium to channel concerning /pressing issues.when your application has passed normal processing time,you can use it

Hello House.

Tomorrow will be 2 months since I applied for my Study permit..i've been contemplating whether to send them an mail asking about my application but i see people that applied way before me and still haven't get their medical mail.

Gonna be studying Advanced Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology (Insha Allah / By God's Grace) and lectures starts by sept 6... Is there anyone with advanced diploma that also applied and still haven't get their medical email?...Just Curious.

And please I need you guys opinion on whether I should send them an email or if it's too early for me to send.
