I just made some consultations and am making a research on the readiness of Nigeria to tackle the Disease in the event of its occurance in Nigeria as it has found its way to Africa. Its also a common Knowledge that many Nigerians reside and have families in south Africa including my colleague at work who shuttles S/A , Nigeria. However information from reliable source holds that there are screening centers with state of the art facilities across International Airports in Nigeria to screen and detect infected people to reduce or prevent infection and spreading the Disease in Nigeria.
my investigations are still on and update would be shared on progress. But for Now Nigeria is Swine Flu free. Let Pray for Nigeria.

Thanks agathamari for educating me.Stay Alive

it seems its a white mans disease cos i dont think its a black is South that caught the flu. maybe he/she even got it from the states or europe the time they visited.its not a thing we pray for as we have suffered lassa fever, meningitis, and what not.But the health minister has put some dictective and preventive measures to quickly detect it and treat or quarantine. I think he is concerned and proactive. all the same na God we dey pray cos na him get power.

smiley cheesy :
Ahh this is a relief to me i cant imagine what it would look like being seriously sick on one of the striking days with the Knowledge that doctors are on strike. thank God we have an understanding Minister. Nigerians can now patronise govt hospital with the assurance that they will give us better attention and treatment. I think this health minister is one of the best thing that has happened to the health sector.i could see the concern in his eye and passion as he begged doctors not to go on strike and assured them of payment on Monday. which indeed he did.Kudos to you sir.
