I had to see another Gynae last weekend for a second opinion, after going through my results, he said that once AF showed up, he would place me on 100mg of Clomid and folic acid for from day 2 for 5days. But if AF refuse to show up I will go back to him.

@Camrygmail, thanks my sister, he refused after looking through the chart he said he will not prescribe any drug, but would have to monitor my progesterone through out the cycle. before prescribing any drug. For me I have decided to start taking vitamin B6 and also get a lower dose of Vitamin E. because I found out that a higher dose will do the opposite of what it is suppose to do. I will get Omega 3 also. He believes too much in doing numerous test before taking a decision, I will play along, but will take these multivitamin I just mentioned. Hope your LO is doing fine and you are ok too. Stay blessed

Hello fruitful ladies, Sure everyone is doing great. went to pick up my result from the test on Progesterone level, and HCG (pregnancy hormone).
Progesterone 2.58 (5-20)
Free pregnancy HCG 46.7 (5-50).

This result shows that I was pregnant last month, hence, none of those multivitamins where responsible for the extended cycle, but pregnancy. Actually I did a HPT a day before I started bleeding and it was positive, though a faint line.
My doc said, which could be clearly seen from the result that my progesterone level dropped, so the pregnancy could not progress further.


So Like I said earlier I must get my BFP before the end of this year. My body must Obey the word of God (Be fruitful and multiply)
I am not sad at all but very happy that am closer to it than I could imagine.

My lovely sisters please if there is any that has suffered this before now, kindly advice on what worked for you.

@Pink22, I am actually worried that the fluid might be coming out, but am not sure why it should because my tubes are not block,don't know if there might be other reasons for such. the fact is that it happens most time after BD regardless of the period during the cycle, although it is actually more in my mid-cycle. I will have to go to the ladies to clean up as i feel wet when it comes out. Hope to discuss this with my doc, in my next visit sha.

@Udoka, trust your sister, after AF showed I stopped taking all of them including the folic acid, because I was not sure what was responsible for that. My cycle length only moved from 31 to 35days when I used Clomid early this year and after 2 cycles It went back to normal and had been regular till this last one. I have decided to watch how my body responds this cycle with just vitamin D and folic acid, will start taking it from this evening.

As for the headache its been there before I started taking the multivitamins. I suspect hormonal Imbalance,which is progesterone. Will discuss with my gynae this weekend when I go to see the outcome of my test.

@Beetle, as for the Vitamin E its 1000IU, I will check how many gramms when I get home today. Tnx dear

Last cycle started using Vit E, D, folic acid and Omega 3,6,9. and my cylce length was extended from 31days to 37days. Af showed with clots of blood. My doctor immediately collected blood sample to check my progesterone and preg. hormone level. Will go to the clinic later in the week to know the result. I did a second hormones test, will post in the result here later today. Please is it possible for any of the multivitamins listed above to extend my cycle length. And has anyone experienced headache before or few days after AF. Please any solution for this headache. Because I can't imagine the heartache of TTC and still face this headache everymonth. Any way, whether good or bad, We must win this battle. I know for sure that before the end of this year I must get my BFP. Thats the attitude I have decided to maintain now. babydust y' all.

@ipio, I think you should get the drugs, because one of my colleagues, who had her HSG last month complained of same pains after the process, and it was later discovered that he had infection. Not sure whether it was as a result of the HSG or not. I didn't feel much during the process, and less than an hour after the process there was no pain till date. Please to be on the safe side take some antibiotics.

Hello @ipio dear, You don't have any reason to be scared, I had mine in April this year. Just take a painkiller before you start the process. You can actually get it on you way there, if you haven't taken any. I used Cataflam and I felt very little pain during the process and that was all. remember to go with a sanitary towel, because you will bleed for a day or two after the process. Wish you the very best in your HSG. The BFP is on the way. Good luck dear.

My dear please go see a gynae, he will have to run some test on you, which will help him know the cause of your problem, I believe it can be resolved. This could either be as a result of weight, hormonal Imbalance or any other reason which will be identified by your doc. I pray you find help soon.

After meeting with my Doc on Saturday, I was scheduled for another test this week Friday, I will check out the request form later and state the test-- can't remember now. To help him take a better decision in relation to my hormones test result. I also did a swap test on that Saturday,this he said was necessarily to be sure that there was no infection. Praying that God will put his hand on my gynae, grant him divine wisdom, to facilitate my BFP IJN.

Tnx Udoka, I did the test on CD 22.am actually in the hospital now waiting to see the doc.
As per you temperature, my doc advised that its advisable for preg women to take their temp and chat till about 20wks. It will alert U of any issue before U see physical symptoms.
