One more addition for visa on arrival for abuja ,kindly pay for your visa on arrival online if you don't want to delay yourself looking for who will pay with his or her foreign card.
No more cash payment even if you cry blood they will not answer,they will tell you to drop the childs American passport till when you are ready.
Also get ready to pay 5k to the cafe girl at the airport to open an ID then print out to the immigration officer before payment of VOA.

Crazy country we are in. We travel out, pay with our naija dorm card, its accepted but our immigration pple refused our own card and accept foreign card as means of payment for visa on arrival all in the name of easy tracking of funds to boost the system because cash was not being remitted appropriately.
Be smart and pay online before arrival otherwise be ready to spend hours looking for foreign card upon arrival.

This is the new strategy they use in denying people visa cos they know Naija don’t read deep,it’s as if they sat down in their strategic meeting and said yes let’s use the birth registration handbook page 17 states . They now give time to go bring the previous baby birth certificate so they will have an excuse. Mailing address should be USA address while the other address should be Naija address on the birth certificate. Please take note for those that care to. People are being denied visa but surprised it’s not discussed on the forum.

I don't know if anyone has had a case like this before, I travelled with my toddler that was born in the us to have my second baby,on the flight here he caught a serious virus so I rushed him to the er when it seemed like he was looking consciousness.

I went through this with my baby on Monday,fever came from nowhere, he was vomiting all through and crying nonstop in the aircraft for 16hrs. I dabbed with water, gave him antibiotics and later capol every 6hrs till we landed . Immediately we got home I gave clartem for3days with continuation of antibiotics.He is fine and okay, jumping everywhere.

Advice to all mothers traveling with toddlers always go with antibiotics, paracetamol and malaria medicine. Meanwhile,we took him to paedetrician in Nigeria 2weeeks before travelling ,he was treated for malaria (injection& Medicine) Dr gave us prescription to travel with Incase he falls ill and we got the medicine 3 each. Thank God for the medicine that was handy.

Houston POE very smooth no documents asked just gist with immigration officer on “Things fall apart novel” said he can’t wait to finish it, kept telling me about the story and the characters, he was trying to mention the main man,I corrected him with Ikemefuna he said yea yea. I told him the little boy was killed, he said I should not spoil it for him , I asked him how he came about the novel.

Told him we have paid the hospital bill and Dr fees.
Stamped us for 6months.
Safe delivery and hope the next will be as fine as this baby.
