It’s really been a while I posted on this platform but what I’m about to share is something I needed to share.

I met a young man who happens to be a friend for some financial assistance in terms of partnering with me in a business and he offered to help. Afterwards, we got talking about politics. We spoke about different presidential candidates (the 3 prominent ones though). We got talking about their achievements, structures, past and current strategies and of course, their personalities.

I made my points clear and obviously my choice of the candidate who happens to be Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi was revealed. My choice is based on personal conviction, ideology, strength and intellectual capacity of the candidate coupled with the economic intellect of his running mate, Baba Ahmed.

Having said all of these, to my utmost dismay, he said he was no longer willing to partner with me in the business and not ready to render any financial assistance as earlier promised. I was really stunned and curious about the reasons behind his sudden decision. His response really shook me. He said and I quote, “we do not belong to the same political ideology, so I can’t assist, Sorry.”

The moment he said that, I was dumbfounded and the only thing I could utter was 'what has politics got to do with doing a business with a friend?' This brings me to conclusion that life sometimes, isn’t about what you know and what you’ve got to offer but the ability to be in the right clique or association. I had no choice than to quietly leave his presence to look for other means to sort myself.

However, Nigerian youths need to outgrow mixing business with personal political interest. That I do not belong to your political party shouldn't deter us from transacting. We need to realize that the growth of this country is beyond political affiliation or religious bigotry.
Nigeria can be great again if we only we respect each other’s opinion and stand in all spheres of life.

But seriously thats politics for you and it has always been like that and would always be weather you like it or not it's a fact due to the mistrust and political history we had before
There are many people and cabals that are directly and indirectly benefitting from the political structure we have today in Nigeria and will do anything within there power to stop who ever will stop them or rather if by luck or chance you get in there will still destabilize your government
This cabals control the street, the media the arm forces and economic
They are everywhere
