Politics / Presidential Media Chat: How Much Hope Do Have Left In PMB? by MyLot(m): 11:36pm On Dec 30, 2015
With so much of likes and dislikes that has been trailing the first Presidential Media Chat of PMB's Administration, I may not be sure if his performance is good enough to still retain our hope but given the fact we all know, he is not in the league of orators.

That prompts me to ask this question; "is his performance giving us hope of better Nigeria in this 4yrs tenure or dashing it?"

What's your take?

Can anyone pls. highlight every question and their answers in the Presidential Media Chat?

I wasn't sure it won't amount to waste of time so I had to get busy with something else. But with a lot of "for and against" I have seen here, I gota find my fact to access PMB's performance.

Politics / Re: DSS Insists: APC Offered Us N14m Bribe In Osun State Election by MyLot(m): 8:20pm On Aug 14, 2014
I'm rather more enthusiastic that Nigerians are beginning to ask questions and now know the substances of issues. It's only a matter of time now that we'll rise up to do the needful.
Politics / DSS Insists: APC Offered Us N14m Bribe In Osun State Election by MyLot(m): 10:02am On Aug 13, 2014
The spokesperson of DSS, Madam Maryln Oga insisted today that an APC Chieftain offered a sum of N4m to the DSS Head of Operations in the Osun State election and another N10m for the hooded guys of the Service. But one question she failed to answer is why the offeree (the person offering) the bribe) was not arrested since bribery is a crime.

Another question she answered shabbily was whether she has the said offer on record either written or verbal but she said it will be made known when the time comes. When's the time coming, if I may ask? May be because she may never be asked again since the issue will soon be forgotten as Nigerians have too short memory.

On another interview with APC Spokesperson in Osun State, he accused PDP agents and members of inducing people right on the queue giving them cash to buy their votes. Madam Oga said that the people arrested before election were members of APC carrying cash obviously to do the same thing PDP is being accused of. It rather pained APC that DSS didn't allow them to distribute the stomach infrastructures like PDP did but at least APC still won the election.

"When the Labour Party was asked why they lost the election, he said it's because they had no money to share around." Madam Oga said.

I'm afraid for this nation. God help Nigeria.
Politics / Which One Ought To Comes First: Good Governance Or Patriotism? by MyLot(m): 8:42pm On Jul 31, 2014
I heard a prominent politician said Nigerians should copy Americans in the area of their patriotism and that we should put Nigeria first in everything.

I thought about the definition of patriotism and I came up with this; Patriotism is the loyal duty of citizens to the government that has performed its constitutional duties to them.

That then makes me ask all Nairalanders; should patriotism come before good governance or the latter should usher in patriotism?

What's your take?
