Being able to drive is very advantageous. There is a high demand for drivers licence holders in firms, especially sales and marketing. Infact most job interviewers will ask if you possess one. So it's technically hard to see a licence holder who is without a job

i have someone that got to dubai last month with a 3month visa, he has done interview nd exam with the company. he jst obtained his emirate card last week nd jst today he paid 2600dhms @ driving school. actually when he told me of the 2600dhms ds morning, i swear fear catch me , bt he's still operating under his BAT for now. Your folk's 3months visa will definitely give way for a new work visa which in this case grants him eligibility for a licence. There are job positions which will not qualify you for driving. The type job on your work visa determines that. Hope you understand now..

I'm thinking emirate card replaced that of labour since last year... I don't live in the UAE now though

The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, yesterday,said his administration is targeting an increased monthly internally generated revenue figure of N5 billion.

He also said that his government has so far attracted about $1.65 billion investment to Anambra State from investors, since March, 2014 when the new administration came into being.

He stated that his desire now is to ensure that the monthly internally revenue base of the state is increased to the level that it will adequately cater for the monthly wage bill of the government.

Obiano stated that his administration has done very well in the areas of security, education, oil and gas, industrialisation, job creation, agriculture, health, power, among others.

Obiano who addressed journalists on the various achievements of his government so far at his Aguleri country-home yesterday,
cautioned the citizens of most states to brace up for challenges arising from the dwindling oil revenue, caused by the falling oil prices.

The governor also announced that his government is procuring waste disposal equipment to boost healthy environment across the major cities, while stressing that his concern now is to improve on the achievements already made in the coming years, beginning with 2015.

Obiano who disclosed that two armed robbers were killed on Christmas day and that two others were arrested while trying to escape, stated that a kidnap attempt was also foiled within the period.

Concerning the readiness of the government to successfully confront security challenges in the coming months, Obiano explained thus: “In less than three weeks ,we were able to win a very good battle and that is the relative peace we are enjoying now and we will continue to improve on that high record. We will sustain the patrol we have at the Upper Iweka and I have engaged a retired commissioner of police as the head of the vigilantes; ,we are re-organising it all and recovering arms from those who are not real vigilance operatives”.

Have you checked the cost of obtaining a driver's licence. Nigerian licence I think is not transferable in that region, so you will have to apply for a fresh one there. Also, the type of visa you are issued will determine if you are eligible for a licence or not.
Just do your homework well, ask questions to your contacts there. I'm not discouraging you o, just make sure that you are well prepared.

The road starts off from the market and while one continues straight to umunya, the other makes a "Y" form with it veering off towards Ogbunike. And from there, it connects to "Ugwu-Nwasike-Azu-Ogbunike-Azu-Ama­wa-Osile-Ifite-Umueri-Saint Monica College-Ogbunike Cave Road" which is ongoing. 5months ago Obiano also promised that more roads leading to the heritage site would soon be flagged off as well. So I don't know how many access roads are under construction at the moment in that region. You know that region is where the 3 Local Govt Areas- Idemili, Oyi and Dunukofia meet themselves.
