bruh,I'd advice you to stay here and continue making your money and about the extortion you can sort it by not keeping much money in your account cause me like this I dont keep more than 30k in my bank account I either have them saved in btc, shares, real estate, piggy banks cause when sars carry me and I tell them I trade forex I just tell them I'm just learning and dont even have anything I go come show them the little balance as proof
if you get money for Nigeria its bliss, enjoy your stay bruh.
If he can make his money from anywhere, I don’t see the advantage of staying here, or am I missing something?

“I’d like to think about what you have as a rich mans problem”

I’m not very experienced with traveling abroad as I have not had the opportunity to travel myself, but from what you wrote, I’d like to believe you’re still young and concerned about the future. My advice for you is to travel now that you have the opportunity (I.e can comfortably afford it). This country is not looking promising, leave and start building your life abroad. I also believe you’re not married yet, so it’s another opportunity to Give your unborn kids a greater future. Since you can do your job from any part of the world comfortably, leave now bro.

I’d also like you to consider Canada in your plans. I’ll let the more experienced travelers help you out in your decision.

you talk about scaling as if you are going to scale with toilet papers, Opay got $50 million investment and so many international network. so don't compare one guy in Nigeria with self investment fund. there are hundreds of reasons start-ups fail but the lesson is much important.
90% of start-ups failed anywhere in the world.
It was you who brought opay up.

Well, Better luck in your future endeavors, gracias!

in the startup world failure is inevitable, but not every failure will end the business. if you are not ready to fail then you can't be an entrepr eneur. Opay failed too which is not any of their fault, life happens and we learn.
Opay didn’t fail as a company, they are still in business, they only had one of their start up truncated by factors beyond their control (Gov policy), which I also suspect is not the cause in your own case. Remember they started with transportation then expanded into other sectors including finance. That is a form of scaling. You have to scale to retain your relevance.

Didn't scare fast and early? Bro I swear to God you do not know anything about startup 101.

Businesses don't die because they do not scale too early. They die because they scaled too early.
Don’t be too quick to judge (that someone knows nothing). This is a faceless forum and I just ‘assumed’ what your problem was, I didn’t state for a fact.

BTW; I have a startup in its 4th year and it’s growing just fine, thanks to proper scaling. I don’t think you can go wrong with scaling, a business must scale to survive. First, understand the true meaning of scaling.

@NairalandAngel, you are just bragging, you know nothing about Angel Investment... the last thing I will do is to let anyone claiming investor here in Nigeria into my business ( they are the worst set of people) with the quick return syndrome mentality.

to the entrepreneurs in the house please work hard, start all by yourself get co-founder, put in all your efforts if you fail you fail, if you succeed glory be to God.
my start up failed last year after 2 years of investment I learnt a lot from the failure. I'm happy because I fund it with my money and with the help of my co-founder.

And lastly people don't invest in ideas they only invest in business.
Failed after 2 years? Seems you didn't do something right on your part, my guess is you didn't scale it fast and early.

36 months is not a new business. Mine is new and not up to 2 months and it is a simple business but with a unique method I've given it.
How about you give me your contact? You and I have a conversation and see if it's worth investing or not. We'll both leave this thread here for posterity and reference sake. What do you say?
What sector/Industry is your idea?

Thanks everyone for your advice and words of encouragement I live in asaba I love my daughter so much more than anything in this world but I think she deserve better than me the reason I want to give her up for adoption is because she will be better off without me over there she will have both parents that will train and guide her to the right path something I never had the change to have so I want her to be greater than me because I don’t have anything good to offer her , I trust this aunty that will adopt her because she has helped me a lot in the past I know my daughter will be in a good place but I just don’t understand why am I having sleepless nights about giving her away I guess is normal for any mother that love her daughter to feel the same way I am feeling because it’s not easy for me to give her away but she had to go because I want her to be happy and I hope one day she will thanked me for making the right decisions for her. Thanks

OP I have few questions to ask.

1. What have this madam promised to give you in return you give her your daughter while signing some papers.

2. Asides giving out your daughter, how else would you want to be helped?

The only problem affecting you and your family is poverty, there’s no curse anywhere, don’t believe all what the religious minds have said here. You need an objective plan to escape poverty fast.

This was a simple case but mikky aggravated it. It was same account he got initial 20k from that the woman still sent. If he has forgotten, all he had to do was ask for transfer receipt. The woman was sending all her identity and what not on top 5k yet some of you shameless people here are still running behind your master like the idiot that went to message him and say “there’s hunger in the land”

Fish farming. I have a very good location and buyers already, and the market is always there. i have a 5years experience, i know the perfect feeds, treatments, how to hatch. I would get a 200x200 land and start a registered and large scale farm. harvest is usually 4months depending on feed quality, so in a year I would make a profit of 250-300%. And yea, it's very profitable, and just as stressful.

10Million is even too much. With just about 2.5 million, I will improve on this business I run currently by reducing the number of partners.
I supply cassava, and grains to companies that use them as raw material. I buy from the farmers in bags (grains) and sell to the companies in kilograms.

Been off this thread a while and I come back to same dumb Bleep analysis as I left here.

I keep reading analysis like it was unwise that we spent 130m on the defense and it was unnecessary...I’m like seriously? Did a human just type that shit? Combo of smalling and Jones were purely atomic bombs waiting detonation in our team over the years and hell were they detonated times without number. A dumb Bleep here also said the defense wasn’t the problem but just the midfield and attack. Hell did we have problems in all departments in this team and the easiest to fix was the defense which was rightly done, next window we focus on midfield or and attack. And then comes a decent bench. A good defense starts with confidence and hell were smalling and jones lacking all that, mag and linds partnership have calmed the play down and less frantic at the back.

And for those dumb bleeps saying Bissaka is useless, damn! Never have I seen more useless football comment in my life. Stupid online loud mouths everywhere.
