Literature / Re: 10 Embarrassingly Non-existing Phrases That Are Hurting Your Writing by MysticVibe(f): 8:19am On Sep 06, 2017
This goes to show that not everyone should write about English. It's more technical than you think. For instance "citizen" can refer to state as well as country. And yes, there is such a word as "indigene". I'll even overlook the numerous typos and grammatical inconsistencies in this write-up.

Keep believing this and limiting yourself. Not every Nigerian organization is corrupt.

Nice writeup, but in Nigeria; no long legs, no job tongue tongue

What of those residing and working outside Lagos are they eligible?

Nope, you need to be a registered tax-paying resident of Lagos state.

P.s. I thought the real estate "consultant" was quite amusing. Offering a service requires more than just technical expertise. You need to keep yourself informed, or how else will you inform your clients?

Yes yes yes....
No ATM grin grin grin
So if me or my spouse want to withdraw the cheque must contain my signature and his,If my signature is not there money must not be release to him Same for me also.....

It even going to be a long-term goal account,no withdrawal until 10 or 15 years of opening the account...( saving for th. e rainy day)

I'm guessing you're not married....and meanwhile saving in a bank account for years is not an ideal investment plan.

Properties / Re: Please Help Criticze This Building Plan. by MysticVibe(f): 7:57am On Feb 05, 2017
Nice concept! It's similar to a plan I'm working on too. My comments:

1. I like the entrance. The guest toilet is exactly how it is in my uncle's home...interesting! I think you need another "general" visitor toilet. You don't want day visitors disturbing any resident guests you may have. Fine you won't have that all the time but from experience it's not the best.

2. Toilets and bathrooms: your design is going to use a lot of plumbing materials with toilets on almost all sides of the house. What we did was to have the guest bathroom, general bathroom kitchen and master bedroom bath on the same side of the house. Makes for neater plumbing, not to mention cost efficient!

3. Store: I think it's perfect. This is the only room you can throw in the middle of a house with no concerns lol. You don't need windows in a store. It's a waste of materials for a place you won't spend more than 1% of your time in. Instead install a light flush door with ventilated slats, and use open shelving, not cupboards. There will be decent circulation and whatever is stored there will keep.

4. No plans for a laundry? Your kitchen and bathrooms would be too small to incorporate one, and trust me you need one dedicated space.

5. Veranda: I think this is better in front of the living room, or to the left side if you don't want one up front. It's rather small for a house with at least four occupants.

5. The glass windows for the lobby...hmm. The beauty of glass blocks is if they are letting in natural light directly. I would tweak your design so that the lobby is lit naturally from the back of the house, and use the glass blocks there. This way the space is lit even if all inner doors are closed.

6. In addition to this space I would reduce the master bedroom size and shift the master bath to the right side of the house. That open space can fit an ironing board nicely plus you have lots of light.

Just my few cents smiley I will be following this!

Cheers.

Business / Re: How Can I Invest A N100,000 And Make Profit Without Working by MysticVibe(f): 10:50pm On May 20, 2015
I've got a VERY attractive business opportunity for anyone with 200k to invest. There is a catch tho - you must be ready to embrace risk. I have been looking for a way to help improve my life and that of others...and came across this opportunity. However this business will not interfere with your current job or business. Holla at me if you are interested (VERY serious people only please).
Romance / Re: Question For The Ladies...[photo] by MysticVibe(f): 10:44am On Jan 10, 2015
Hmmm...There IS such a thing as car seating etiquette. That being said the "place of honour" is beside the driver, unless the vehicle is chauffeured - in which case the place of honour is the rear passenger seat (informally called the "owner's corner" smiley ) . So for all the people asking what the big deal is, there IS a big deal. Etiquette dictates the guidelines for proper social conduct, and even without any relationship between the passengers in the car it's the reason the person in the back seat moves up front when the person beside the driver disembarks from the vehicle. Against this backdrop I would not expect one half of a dating couple to sit separately. Both should be in the same row of the vehicle side by side.

Romance / Re: Loving Someone Who Doesn't Love You Back by MysticVibe(f): 3:52pm On Oct 07, 2013
Interesting topic. I have been attracted to someone before, it was for a long time - about 3 years. I understood the feeling wasn't mutual so I moved on...it was hard but it became easier when I put myself in his shoes. And when I moved away the change of scenery helped. Point is, you cant force anyone to love you. If everyone accepted this basic truth the world would have less pain.
