You can use Nigeria ATM card at any store through POS. Maximum monthly transaction is $100. You can as well bring 2 ATM cards in order to increase your limit.

Please how can my parents send me money from Nigeria can they send it through my Nigerian account and can I withdraw it with the ATM machine here

That's ridiculous. I am in Ukraine

Gwill205:

No... it’s for resident permit for 6 years and health insurance + agency fee
Travel / Re: Nigerians At Ukraine by mystikay79: 9:25am On Jan 19, 2022
Depends on the city but not much. I assume you have an agent here already. Which city do you want to study?

Gwill205:
I heard I’ll have to pay for resident permit when I get to Ukraine, please who knows how much is the resident permit and how to go about it

My candid advice; becareful with these agents. Even with your visa guaranteed, you can still be denied irrespective of the amount you paid. A friend was denied after paying $1,600. i wish you all the best in your journey and pls, PREPARE well. I've heard alot of horrible stories from students here and few Africa footballers. If you dont have enough funds, please stay in Nigeria.

AndybestAndy:
My agent was telling me I have to pay $1300 for visa guarantee

Some of these people don't listen until they come here. There are few opportunities in big cities like Kiev, Lviv and few others. Try to plan yourself well for atleast 6 months because most jobs here require the local language. If you can drive or teach; Well, your chances are a bit higher. Just pray fro grace. ALL THE BEST TO Y'LL

Moana:
he just said its hard to get a job and you are asking about job opportunity again? grin

I'd assume your flight is taking off from Lagos or Abuja. Why not come a day or 2 before your flight and get it done. It seems you've got no chances of getting your test done in your state cos I didn't find a location in osun
Travel / Re: Nigerians At Ukraine by mystikay79: 6:56am On Aug 11, 2021
Where is your location?
Travel / Re: Nigerians At Ukraine by mystikay79: 10:45pm On Aug 10, 2021
Better do your test in Nigeria because u can't fly from Nigeria without a printed covid result. Your airline will require it plus if you have a stop in any country which is most likely, they will ask you.

Go to NCDC official website, check for laboratory close to you. I did mine a day before my travel and result came out same day. It cost #50,400.

Best of luck

Landed in Kiev yesterday, took a bus to my city (about 6hours drive)... Anyone coming here should be prepared to face the immigration. They will ask you series of questions; I almost peed on myself.

They returned a Nigerian right in front of me.

I wish everyone best of luck. This trend has been helpful

When you say bring alot of money, how much are we looking at here?

Energygod:
Hey guys good evening.. how's everyone doing so far? Good I hope. I have some free time now at work(not call centre lol). To the newbies here you're welcome. Work and school have been eating my time seriously I haven't had time to say much here. This thread helped earlier this year when I was an application so I will give the little advice I can since I came here on February. It hasn't been easy for real. Don't believe a lot of stories these agents tell you they're just after your money really. Please and please be very careful with agents they can make your life a living hell here. Ukraine is already a difficult place don't shoot yourself in the leg and depend on an agent please the information is very enough for all you want. And please have a plan of what you want from Ukraine and pursue it every day and night non stop this place is very funny and can mess up your mental health. There's not much opportunity here but this is a good starting ground for anyone who knows what he or she is doing in life or wants in life. Bring enough money when coming for survival except you have someone who can be sending you money. Please and please be very careful with agents I'm saying it again they eat off your money and would say or do anything to get it from you. Once immigration clears you into the country nobody can do anything except from immigration don't mind those liars. Don't expect much from the country even the educational system is really nothing to write home about except for students who are serious or some medical schools. End of rant stay safe guys.
