With an interesting look, talented space, and taste for being better, there has been somewhat the originality and superstar quality in Benin-raised male recording and performing artiste, Osquare.

Osquare whose real name is Osazebemide Okhuakhua grew up in Benin City, Edo State in a Christian family of six. He completed both his primary and secondary school education in Benin where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.

Growing up in a Christian family, Osquare has always been influenced by various sounds from churches to songs played in his environment, this quickly helped him build a bond in making music and although so young, having a supportive family, the talented star was able to pick the pieces of his skill and brush it up to fine levelling state one would find appealing to the ears.

Osquare, being a go-getter and a guru at his craft is set to drop a brand new single in 2023 and which he titled “Holy Water”. Blessed with beautiful melodies, he has been able to increase his presence and show the world the most he has to offer. This is a start but the young talent strongly believes his spot in the entertainment space is certain as he is determined to be the very best he can be.

The dark skinned Ekiti State born rapper who is gearing up for the release of an EP project also hinted at the launch of a digital art gallery where he plans to showcase his works and that of other artists he curates. “I had a mini exhibition last year where I showcased my works and the feedback I got was amazing.

I am launching an art gallery soon and the plan is to fully develop, harness and showcase this part of the Bode Blaq brand” he added.

To Bode Blaq, art is an expression and articulation of his personality, goals, and aspirations, and he intends to leave no stone unturned in fully harnessing and showcasing the fullness of his many artistic skills.

Youth activist Michael Obinna Nwabufo popularly known as Mike Premium has charged political leaders in the country to include young minds in their cabinets as that is the only way to ensure formulation and execution of policies that will affects lives positively.

He made this known on the 13th of July 2022 on the premises of the Independent National Electoral Commission head office in Lagos while addressing news men on a courtesy visit to the INEC office with members of NETLIN Youth in Politics, a non profit youth organisation.

According to Mike Premium, the nation needs young minds who understands the realities of the world and can proffer modern day solutions that will positively affect the lives of the populace.

In his words, “we cannot expect different results and keep doing things same way. We have capable youths who can function in key areas that will bring changes. The youth understands what’s happening out here. We need new wine in a new bottle. Every leader across boards must include a large number of young people in their cabinets.I see no reason why we cannot have a cabinet where 40 percent of it’s members are youths”.

He therefore called on Nigerians to only vote for candidates who have solid plans to address the many issues killing the dreams of many young people in the country while advocating for mass voters registration and participation in the 2023 General elections.

Music sensation and songwriter, Ogunjemilua Olasunkanmi Caleb also known as Skanm continue to anticipate his Extended Play (EP), the singer has hinted about a new single will be dropped first before the EP.

Titled Ekelebe, the soon- to-be released song according to Skanm would serve as appetiser for the EP that is going to drop later in the year.

Multi talented and versatile Afro Jazz Trumpeter and recording artist Kwitee is set to release his debut/jazz album titled Shadows in April.

When Okwi Iguwe Godwin popularly known as Kwitee, conceived the idea of a jazz album, all he wanted to do was tell a story that casts a reflective light on his journey through life vis-a-vis the lessons, his passion for music and the trumpet as an instrument of beautiful emotions.

With the album set for release, Kwitee is gunning for the attention of the world to convey this narrative.

According to Kwitee, “Shadows” is a 12 track classic and soul serenading jazz album consisting of original compositions aside from “Salute to Marley”, a remake of “Redemption song“, a tribute to reggae icon Bob Marley.
