Jobs/Vacancies / 3-step Guide To Writing A Job--winning Cv/resume by naijacvdoctor: 5:12pm On Dec 24, 2022
What is a CV? The simple definition is a' a professional summary of your education, skills , training and work experience.' Your CV/Resume is the first marketing tool to communicate your fitness for the job to the prospective employer. I am afraid you don't have second chance to get it right. So follow these 3 step to ensure you curate a Job--Winning CV/Resume:

1. Create a compelling story about yourself. Make sure the top quarter of your CV highlight your selling points, either your skills or work experience.
For example, showing your give year's work experience with GTBank at the upper part of your CV will attract the recruiter who is looking for banking officer than to show your first degree in Biology.

2. Signpost your workplace achievements clearly. This communicate to the recruiter that you have tangible a s transferable skills to do the job successfully.

3. Tailor your CV to the job advertised.
Avoid one cap fit all scenario. Make sure you do not use one CV for all job vacancies. Make sure you CV address key job responsibilities stated in the job vacancy otherwise your CV will make the trash bin quickly. Don't copy directly the job responsibilities but calendestinely address it you CV.

All the best from the #NaijaCVDoctor. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance.
