Webmasters / How To Get Free Traffic To Your Website by nairacodedcom(m): 10:54pm On Sep 13, 2013
The four traffic models are:

• Free Traffic
• Paid Traffic
• Recycled Traffic

• Viral Traffic

I will not go into extensive detail about each method, but rather refer to resources I feel will adequately explain these traffic methods in greater detail.

Each of these traffic sources that I wrote about could be an entire course on its own. It is not my objective to make this report the encyclopedia of Internet marketing, but rather to point you to resources that I think can help you create traffic.

If you can learn to monetize any of these sources of traffic, you have established the first step towards online success.

Free Traffic

Natural Search Traffic

Natural search traffic is simply having your web pages indexed by major search engines such as Google, Yahoo or MSN.

I remember back THEN how easy it was to get ranked in the major search engines. Today it is brutally competitive and difficult to get a high ranking for relevant keywords or key phrases.

But it is still possible through some hard work and dedication.

There are basically two major components to getting your web pages ranked well.

1. On Page Factors

2. Off Page factors

On page factors include where to place your keywords on your web pages and the keyword density. The obvious methods to improve your on page factors are:

• include relevant keywords in meta-tags
• include relevant keywords in your H1, H2,H3 tags
• include relevant keywords in your image tags (the alt text tag)

• include relevant keywords in your content

Off page factors include other web sites that link back to your web site. There are a number of things that major search engines look at when analyzing the inbound links to your web site:

• the number of inbound links
• the anchor text used to link to your web site

• the IP address of web sites linking to your web site

Generally, the off-page factors will account for 90% of how well ranked your web pages are for relevant keywords in the major search engines.

When you are exchanging links with other web sites, don’t simply use your web site name, but rather a keyword that best describes what you web site is all about.

Once you have your web site compiled and all the internal links working, you can submit them to the major search engines. With Google you can use Google Sitemaps and they will send the Google spider to index your web page right away.

You need to create a sitemap in .xml format for your web site in order to submit it to Google Sitemaps (http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps).

I use a program called GSiteCrawler that automatically crawls your web site and creates a complete .xml sitemap for Google Sitemaps.

This is just one method. I wrote on 10 free traffic tactics you can use to get more visitors to your site. check out more here.

Phones / Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Specifications by nairacodedcom(m): 11:14am On Sep 10, 2013
Samsung's made an annual tradition of introducing a new Galaxy Note at Berlin's IFA trade show and this year's no different. The Galaxy Note 3 sticks close to the winning formula: it enlarges the Super AMOLED display of the Note II to 5.7 inches, adds a bombastic 3GB of RAM and a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, raises the camera resolution to 13 megapixels, and simultaneously trims the fat so it can be a millimeter thinner at 8.3mm and a shade lighter at 168g.

Those incremental upgrades all point to a better device, but only marginally so — Samsung's hopes for attracting new buyers to its Note platform rest on a suite of new stylus-friendly software features and a physical redesign aimed at making the Note 3 look that extra bit more glamorous.

Computers / How To Root Your Android Smartphone by nairacodedcom(m): 4:12pm On Sep 07, 2013
1.Charge your phone. You will need to have at least 80% battery life on your phone before you start the rooting process so that it doesn’t get interrupted by the power turning off. For best results, perform the root operation immediately after your phone has become fully charged.

2.Download UnlockRoot Pro. The software is available for free from the UnlockRoot website. Make sure that your device is supported by checking the documentation on their website.

3.Download the drivers for your phone. Most phone’s will install drivers automatically when you plug them into your computer, but if yours does not for whatever reason, you will need to download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
Make sure to download the correct drivers for your model and carrier.

4.Connect your phone to your computer. Use the USB cable that came with your phone. Make sure that your phone has been recognized by Windows.

5.Run UnlockRoot Pro. Select your phone for the dropdown menu. Press the Root button once you have selected your device. The root process will start automatically.

6.Put your phone in Download mode. The UnlockRoot software will display specific instructions for your device. Follow the instructions exactly in order to put your device into Download mode. Once your phone is in Download mode, the root process will continue.
Your phone will reboot after a few moments. It will then reboot again and enter Recovery mode.

7.Wait for the phone to reboot a few more times. As the phone reboots, you will see the progress bar in UnlockRoot fill up. Once the bar is full you will receive the message “OK, Root success”. Your phone is now rooted and you can use programs such as SuperUser and Titanium Backup.

Politics / Suntai's wife Dissolves Taraba State Cabinet by nairacodedcom(m): 2:02pm On Aug 28, 2013
The brain-damaged governor of Taraba State,
Danbaba Suntai has purportedly dissolved his
entire cabinet shortly after the attorney general
of the state, Barrister G. T Kataps outlined
reasons the governor didn't need to appear
before the house of assembly before taking over
power in the state 72 hours after he returned to
the government in a carefully choreographed
scam.
Mr. Kataps was later appointed as the new
secretary of the state government in an
announcement by the commissioner of
information, Emmanuel Bello.
However, sources told Saharareporters that the
bizarre announcement was hatched by Mrs.
Hauwa Suntai, the wife of the ailing governor who
is illegally occupying the government house
using her brain-damaged husband as a shield.
A source in the camp of the Acting governor,
Alhaji Garba Umar told Saharareporters that the
cabinet dissolution by Mr. Suntai's wife carries no
effect.
They urged residents to disregard the purported
dissolution of the cabinet and go about their
normal duties.
The acting governor and several commissioners
including security chiefs in the state attended a
meeting where they planned to adequately
respond to the ruse, our source stated. Source: www.saharareporters.com/news-page/suntais-wife-dissolves-taraba-state-cabinet-acting-governor-says-cabinet-intact
Computers / Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Page Hacked by nairacodedcom(m): 3:15am On Aug 22, 2013
Facebook, which offers a bounty of US$500 or more to anyone who discovers a bug in its system, has come under fire for refusing to reward an out-of-work Palestinian programmer who reported a vulnerability that let people post to strangers' accounts without authorization.

The programmer, Khalil Shreateh, resorted to hacking Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's page to prove his point after the company first ignored, then repeatedly dismissed, his report.

Facebook decided against paying Shreateh the bounty, explaining on Hacker News that this was because Shreateh had violated its terms of service by posting items to the Facebook pages of users he should not have had access to.

Shreateh later posted the sequence of events on his blog, triggering outrage and expressions of support from most commenters.

"I am surprised [Facebook is] refusing to pay the bounty," Rob Ragan, senior security associate at Bishop Fox, told TechNewsWorld. "If they choose not to recognize the submission because the researcher went public with this information, then that is their prerogative. The entire situation seems like an opportunity to improve the process."

Facebook declined to provide further details.

A Memorable Facebook Experience

Shreateh notified Facebook through the company's White Hat pages of the bug, which let any Facebook user post to other Facebook users' timelines even if they were not friends.

A member of Facebook Security responded, only to say he received an error message when he clicked on the link Shreateh had sent in.

Shreateh then emailed the Facebook team again, notifying them of the vulnerability and providing a link to the page of Sarah Goodin -- the first woman to join Facebook way back when -- on which he had filed a post without her authorization to prove his point.

Facebook apparently maintained that there was no bug, so Shreateh made a post on Zuckerberg's own timeline and sent a link to that over to the Facebook team.

Minutes later, Facebook security engineer Ola Okelola requested details of the exploit. Shreateh complied, and Facebook then disabled his account.

When Shreateh asked Facebook to reactivate his account, he was told it had been disabled as a precaution. He was also told his report did not have enough technical information for Facebook to act on it and that he would not be paid the bounty because he had violated the company's ToS. Facebook also re-enabled his account.
