Business / Re: Passenger Transportation Business ? by NAIRAJET: 2:05pm On Jul 07, 2010 |
This is considered as one of the most lucrative businesses around considering the fact of city congestion around mega city like Lagos and demand for transportation is unbeatable But at the same time, it could be the worst experience if not handled rightly. It is better you seek the advice of project/investment consultant on this particular subject. They would be of great help. Never mind the cost because it is better to get the kind of qualitative advice on any startup than to miss the road be careful of any "ghost" consultants around , pls God will guide ur footstep for ur project to land on the rock and not on sand, Prayer and Wisdom lead to formidable success TAKIA |

Business / Re: Business Areas That Need Investment In Nigeria by NAIRAJET: 8:27pm On Jul 03, 2010 |
hi, Let me say here that Americans got involved in other countries (esp. the underdeveloped and developing countries like ours) through the oil deposit. Most oil giants (Chevron, Texacco, ExonMobil, etc) are natives of America. About 65% of their direct foreign investment is in the Oil and Gas sectors. However, that doesn't mean any can't survive without oil. Japan for example, survived the post-war era by investing largely in their home-grown electronic industries. A Japanese owner of Daewoo Racer automobile industry, wrote titled, "Every Street Is Paved With Gold". I hold that book in my library up till date, It really talks about revamping any depressed economy with case study to Japan. Very painful to say that Nigeria has the largest deposit of oil, bitumen, solid minerals, gold, agro-allied products, talented human resources, and so many resources to mention a few, but we are one of the poorest countries in the world due to poor leadership. If people like Obafemi Awolowo could establish giant projects in the old era of government without oil money, then now that we have oil and other solid minerals to it, why we can't become one of the 20 economic giants in the world? The issue of Nigeria starts from the heart of every souls, big and small. That's my own comment Thanks |
