Arrant nonsense. Go and investigate Turai Yaradua's account. Same with Titi Abubakar, Mariam Abacha, Late Ndidi Babangida, Late Stella Obasanjo, and Mrs. Shonekan. This selective justice must stop...because she and her husband are from 5%(SS/SE)! But you know, Patience is not the subject of the investigation, the special adviser on domestic affairs is. |

Politics / Re: Fayose Condemns Petrol Price Increment, Says “FG Insensitive To Nigerians Plight by nairapip: 11:14pm On May 11, 2016 |
Oludrex: the ultimate tragedy of nigeria is not the insensitivity of the government but the silence and unbelievable tolerance of the masses It so funny that noone is saying anything about the petroleum marketers who have been diverting products in the past weeks and creating the artificial scarcity. We all go political and attack our varied inclinations while the marketers are smiling. Without a doubt this will bring hardship but will also check the product diversion and guarantee availability. Once the supply is more than the demand, price will find a balance! 2 Likes |

My analogy
Your chicken, that used to give birth to 2 babies ( chucks) all of a sudden started pricing 10 chickens because the sun was shining. Instead of being cautious of this unusual bounty, you decided to live large. Married two more wives Threw big parties everyday and live life to the fullest. Put it on my tab you said to everybody This bounty continued for 5 years until one say, you woke up to find that your bird is only giving birth to one chick Meanwhile you have debts everywhere from beer supplier to.... Caterer. You have also refused to adjust to your new reality. Meanwhile more people now sell chicken. Are you prepared for N500 to $1 because the dollar supply will not increase but the unhealthy appetite for imported rubbish will still be there. Meanwhile, Nigeria has less than 1 year worth of forex. You nay choose to propone the pain
I SM SORRY TO SAY THAT THE PAIN IS/WAS INEVITABLE AND IT HAS TO BE ENDURED
Correct my guy ! Hitting the nail right on the head. If we must keep our cravings for foreign products we must equally be ready, individually and collectively to earn the forex that will fuel this habit. As it is right now, oil is not earning enough to suppose our worthless lifestyle

Politics / Re: How A Cancer Of Corruption Kills Nigeria (Video With Documentary Evidence)- PBS by nairapip: 12:19am On Dec 07, 2015 |
jamace:
Truly, it takes a man with brave heart to fight corruption in Nigeria. I have witnessed corruption, first hand, in all its ramifications in Nigeria. Having said that, corruption should not be nailed at the door step of GEJ. GEJ had good intentions for the masses BUT he was overwhelmed by the insincerity and lack of integrity of his lieutenants. Note that corruption is a whole gamut of vices ranging from misapplication of public funds to "pressing green button" to get ahead of competitors in school admissions and job employments.
Those who perpetrate gargantuan corruption are the high and mighty. They are in political, civil service and religious circles. Sadly even the masses either because of deprivation or the lure to be rich have become corrupt too.
Fighting corruption has become an uphill task in Nigeria today because corruption has taken over our churches/mosques. Pastors and imams who are supposed to shape the morality of the society are now in the front row of corruption. Need I mention that even our erudite scholars both in society and ivory towers are drenched in corruption?.
The corruption situation in Nigeria is jn deed pathetic.
I wish Buhari well in his efforts to rid Nigeria of corruption. However, Buhari must keep his eyes on his lieutenants so that they don't just shout we are fighting corruption and using the opportunity to feather their own nest.
we all have a responsibility to watch them and blow the whistle when appropriate |
