I don't think IHS is a place to join if u are already working with FG. I thought they would be considering the treatment and hype during the job fair. However, I have come to realize that it will amount to gambling someone's future if anyone leave FG job for IHS.

They actually wanted to conduct interview for some Kaduna Batch today. It was however postponed till further notice. Unfortunately I had traveled for 10 hours only to be told the interview has been postponed. I was furious and felt sad!!!!. Anyway Alihamdulilah!!!!!!!

@bb45 My application of November 9-15th for the new 50 slots reads "application under review" but I can see some ppl saying their own is reading cleared and scheduling for interview. Pls I will like to confirm if immediately after applying, it reads application under review and was later changed to cleared and scheduling for interview or it reads the later from the time of application.

I am just wondering why they are giving u guys problem of IELTS. When she told me that I would have to write English exam, I told her all my education has been in English and I wonder why I must write Englis exam. She later told me to send waec pin to confirm my result which I did. Hence my conditional offer was changed to unconditional.

When I contacted ptdf for my letter of award tegu replied with this message after intense pressure.
We have received your admission letter as shown by the auto response. Please visit our office in Abuja on any working day from 10am so that we can commence the processing of your sponsorship letter.
If u can make Abuja before induction fine but I want to believe it will be ready for collection after induction

In as much that I worked hard to get the scholarship and I prayed and it was answered, I believe it is God's way to tell to proceed. I sthdied Electrical (2008) and got job with energy company so I decided to study energy system but I have been sponsored by my org for master in an energy related course in nigeria. So I made up my to change to control so as to have experience in another area and more so that control is very marketable.
I have spent 4 years with my organisation and hoping I will get study leave with pay. The dilemma I am in now is that after receiving unsuccessful mail from nlng, a 2-month training message was received from my organisation which is to be done in Russia. And it starts September just like ptdf. Also I had been sponsored to USA for training by the same org although for two weeks. I am hoping they will grant me study leave with pay.
I need the contribution of my fellow scholars on this?
Also I always get to ptdf through the numbers given in the replied mail once u send mesaage to OSS_ptdf.gov.ng and the BB pin accepted my request just this morning. I implore everyone to use the numbers and the BB pin to get to them

+234 8189745530,+234 98 700 060 are the numbers but just call around 12 cos they didn't pick till then particularly with the first number. Although if u send ur admission letter as requested through the email adress provided on their site, the machine generated message will give the above numbers. Best wishes

I was able to get through to ptdf through one of their numbers, I was told that u can always change ur course that u should just come with ur new admission letter durring induction.

That was 7 years ago. I am only just about to finish my distance learning MSc.

For those of you who have the scholarship offer it appears that you are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.

The offer in hand is worth more than the prospect of the NLNG job. Unfortunately, you might be unable to defer your employment.

You can do your Masters degree at anytime. It is highly unlikely that you will be eligible for recruitment the next time it comes around.

But the question is do you turn down scholarship in the hope of getting a job you are not sure of?

If this was me in 2007, I would take the scholarship and run with it...then wait and see if I get the NLNG job.

If you then do get the job later then wow options galore.

I thought someone said earlier on this thread that he or she asked one of the HR's and he said they can allow one to resume after master if u have started it
