Its kinda shocking at the state of sound production from our naija studio's. Despite a sharp increase in the number of studios in the country we have neglected the quality property of these studios. Now we have exploitive producers who harness the young artists and in the end deliver below standard productions.
These in a long way discourages the up coming artists who compare their songs to high profile songs and are always downed. I urge all producers to at least for the sake of nigerian music deliver good production skills and techniques cuz it represents naija music as a whole.
Listening to songs like Timaya's I don blow ft shayo pisanta I shake my head in disarray cuz we can deliver better production quality in Nigeria. And the trend of flooding the markets with party tracks has lowered the level of artist creativity as "all man dey sing for em pocket now", this has to stop.
Nigerian music is moving to a whole new level and I think we producers and artists should try and move with the trend, instead of using our old methods and expect nigerians to just accept you.
