A married man who died from a heart attack while having sex with a woman he met on a business trip in France was a ‘victim of a professional accident’, a French court ruled.

The ruling means that the man’s employer is financially responsible for the death. The company will have to pay huge compensations to the deceased dependents.

The man's employer insisted that he was not performing any duties for them when he had the heart attack. They blamed his “adulterous sex act with a complete stranger,” in a hotel room as the reason for his death. The company also argued that the man was not in his hotel room provided by the company during the encounter.

But the court ruled that, “A sexual encounter is an act of normal life like taking a shower or eating a meal.” They said that an employee travelling for work remains the employer’s responsibility, no matter what the employee does on and off work hours. This court ruling looks somehow...

An American woman was arrested on Wednesday for attempting to smuggle a newborn baby out of the Philippines by hiding the child in her carry-on luggage, officials said.

Jennifer Erin Talbot, 43, attempted to smuggle the six-day-old baby out of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, NBC News reported. She was ultimately bound for Columbus, Ohio, U.S, according to the report.

An elderly woman from South Australia has died after being pecked at by her “aggressive” rooster while collecting eggs from the chicken coop at her backyard.

The rooster reportedly pecked her lower left leg, causing her to haemorrhage and collapse. Autopsy revealed that the rooster punctured a varicose vein with its beak, causing it to bleed profusely.

The incident has prompted a public warning of the hidden dangers of seemingly harmless animals, especially for elderly people.

This is rare. I haven't heard about rooster killing somebody before. So sad!

A man from Alabama who served 36 years in prison for stealing $50.75 from a bakery will soon be released, according to sources.

In 1983, Alvin Kennard, now 58, was convicted of first-degree robbery in connection with the January 24, 1983 theft at Highlands Bakery and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, under Alabama’s Habitual Felony Offender Act. Court papers show $50.75 was stolen in the incident.

Larry King is seeking a divorce from his seventh wife, Shawn King, after 22 years of marriage.

The 85-year-old talk show host filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday to end his marriage.

A 90-year-old man from South Carolina has been arrested and charged with killing of his 83-year old wife after investigators said he admitted he shot her Saturday morning August 17.

According to the report, officers responded to a home at 1768 Highway 61 in Ridgeville at 5:20 a.m on Saturday after they received a call from a man who said he shot his wife.

Edwin Nelson, Jr., 90, was taken into custody in connection with the murder of his 83-year-old wife, Sarah M. Nelson.

An Indian magician who attempted to recreate Harry Houdini’s trick last month by jumping shackled into a river drowned as he never reappeared after the stunt.

Chanchal Lahiri was meant to escape and swim to safety but did not emerge from the Hooghly river in West Bengal state.

Mr Lahiri, also known as Mandrake, was lowered into the river from a boat for his trick.

He was shackled with six locks and a chain as spectators on two boats watched him.

Several people had also gathered by the shore and some stood on the landmark Howrah Bridge in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta).

The crowd started to panic after Mr Lahiri did not appear after more than 10 minutes.

Chanchal Lahiri's body, which was identified by the magician's brother, was found a little over a mile from where Lahiri entered the water.

A former music teacher was busted Wednesday this week for trying to meet a 13-year-old boy at a hotel for sex, police said.

Charles Bull, a 53-year-old former teaching assistant at the Locust Valley School District, was scouring a chatroom called “LongIslandDLMenOnly” on the social media app Kik when he came across a post from an undercover cop.

The officer had posted that he was “on vacation with his son…and looking for things to do,” according to the criminal complaint.

The next day, Bull arrived at the hotel carrying three unopened condoms — and an Xbox video game gift card. The feds busted in and arrested him, according to the complaint, and Bull wound up confessing to everything.

“I’m not going to lie. I was there to have sex with the 13-year-old boy,” he allegedly told cops.

“I know it was wrong, and I can’t hide that.”

A Russian boxer, Maxim Dadashev has died four days after sustaining brain injury from a brutal fight against a Puerto Rican opponent in Maryland.

28-year-old Maxim Dadashev underwent surgery to remove the right side of his skull after the brutal fight on Friday with Puerto Rican Subriel Matias but didn’t survive. He died on Tuesday morning.

He was left in a medically induced coma after suffering a subdural haematoma in a 140-pound world title eliminator against Puerto Rican Subriel Matias at MGM National Harbor.

Dadashev - nicknamed Mad Max - took repeated blows to the head before his trainer, Buddy McGirt, halted the bout following the 11th round.

In distressing footage posted on Twitter during the fight, McGirt had told Dadashev, 'I'm going to stop it, Max. Max, you're getting hit too much.'

The fighter shook his head to indicate he did not want the fight stopped, but McGirt kept at it: 'Please, Max, please. Let me do this. OK? OK? Look at me. Please.'

Dadashev again shook his head McGirt said: 'If I don't, the referee's gonna do it. C'mon, Max. Please.'

He then called the ringside physician to assess him and informed the referee that Dadashev was out.

'I saw him fading and when he came back to the corner [after the 11th round], my mind was already made up,' McGirt told ESPN.

'I was just asking him out of respect, but my mind was made up. I wasn't going to let him go out there.'

Coach McGirt announced Tuesday morning July 23, that Dadashev has died from his injuries.

Police on Monday said that the human remains found behind a cooler at a supermarket in Iowa earlier this year was that of an employee who went missing since 2009.

25-year-old Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada, worked at the No Frills Supermarket in Council Bluffs when he vanished on November. 28, 2009.

Earlier that day, Murillo-Moncada’s parents said he got upset and ran out of the family home in a snowstorm following an argument, prompting them to report him missing to the police when he failed to return home.

“It was a snowstorm at the time,” Sergeant Brandon Danielson with the Council Bluffs Police Department told the paper. “He left with no shoes, no socks, no keys, no car.”

Authorities now believe Murillo-Moncada went to the supermarket after leaving home that day, then climbed on top of the coolers and fell into an 18-inch gap between the coolers and the wall, becoming trapped.

“A sentence for life in a hostile jail” would be “hard” and not worth living, the president said.

“It’s something very painful,” López Obrador said. He vowed to bring down violence stemming from drug violence by creating a society less obsessed with material wealth.

El Chapo Guzman was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday July 17, by a federal judge in Brooklyn after being convicted in February on several drug-trafficking charges. He will spend the remaining years of his life in Colorado’s supermax prison - a prison with the tightest security where those believed to be terrorists are dumped.

“My case was stained and you denied me a fair trial when the whole world was watching,” Guzman said in court through an interpreter. “When I was extradited to the United States, I expected to have a fair trial, but what happened was exactly the opposite.”
