Thanks viperman. what I meant was that I dont have enough to buy a Tokunbo that is equivalent to the price of a new Kia. I have enough for a lump sum for the financing of a brand new car but i dont have enough to purchase a tokunbo if i cant finance it. you get me? |

adechuks have you been reading my horoscope?!!! You captured my situation perfectly. You are right that ill mainly be commuting within Lagos but, between Ajah and Ikeja daily and possibly weekends due to the nature of my job. The Yaris comes only in a 1.3l engine, do you think i need to get a bigger car? |

@ viperman why do you say that? @adechuks thanks a lot! you are right im not a car freak i just need to move around (without having to visit the mechanic!)Ideally i would love to get a 1.8 Toyota Corolla but its going for 3.2mill for the automatic, far out of my reach. I believe the Rio will be going for far less. Anybody know how much the Rio /Yaris 1.6 automatic costs? 1 Like 1 Share |

Romance / Re: The Perfect Valentine's Day Gift by need2know(f): 10:57am On Feb 02, 2007 |
@ justkunmi You can treat her to a treasure hunt thing(little notes with clues in different places) that ends up at a romantic place e.g the beach or your favourite spot/restaurant I would also suggest something that her friends will see/hear and go "gosh i wish my boyfriend would do that". So if she's at work an elaborate gift to her office - massive bouquet of flowers/massive cake/massive chocolate box/teddy (its all about getting attention of others) Or do the same if she's at school. If she's neither at work or school just make sure she gets the gift in a public place. Hope this helps |
Celebrities / Re: Is Kate Henshaw Getting Fat? by need2know(f): 4:09pm On Jan 31, 2007 |
my2cents if you dont care about Kate henshaw you must find another thread that interests you. I can assure you that any Nigerian that knows Kate Henshaw, knows who Nigeria's vice president is and its going to take more than ignorance to stop OUR politicians from doing things undercover. |

Since we are talking about what Paul said, PAUL’S LETTER TO THE CORINTHIANS 1 Corinthians 7; 1 - 38 1 Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband… 8 But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; 9 but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion…. 25 Now concerning virgins: I have no commandment from the Lord; yet I give judgment as one whom the Lord in His mercy has made trustworthy. 26 I suppose therefore that this is good because of the present distress—that it is good for a man to remain as he is… 36 But if any man thinks he is behaving improperly toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of youth, and thus it must be, let him do what he wishes. He does not sin; let them marry. 37 Nevertheless he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but has power over his own will, and has so determined in his heart that he will keep his virgin,[b] does well. 38 So then he who gives her[c] in marriage does well, but he who does not give her in marriage does better Wat se jy? |
