I need someone with sound knowledge and good understanding to help throw light on the difference between computer engineering and computer science. God's willing my son will be getting into the University next year and his preferred choice is Computer Engineering not until someone started advising me to ask the boy to go for Computer Science. Needed some help so as to guide the boy accordingly. Thank you all! |

Hmmm! I thought its part of the present day politics to agree on one thing in a meeting but to later on turn out to do a different thing. Why hasn't he complaint about the attitude of Govs Lamido, Babangida, Wammako, Dakingari, Nyako and Kwankwaso who endorsed Jonah Jang as their candidate but went and voted for Ameachi? What goes around, comes around. Its only one North when they want to achieve a selfish agenda. I remember Gov Isah Yuguda said it was Gov Babangida Aliyu who announced to him and Shema that they (NSGF) have adopted Gov Jang as their concesus candidate only for them to renage on their decision. I think what Gen. Onoja did is to tell the so called northern Govs and Elders that 2015 is truly a good game to watch. They should first talk to their brothers (Govs) to stop seeing GEJ as an enemy of the North and let's play good politics. No more one North again. In 2011, the so called North was divided and that's exactly what will happen come 2015. |

@OP, I think you should be perfectly convinced with the scriptures quoted above by some of our brothers in Gen.1:27 where God created one man and one woman. If God had wanted Adam to have more than one, was He not the creator? He could as well created as many wives for him (Adam) as He wanted. Also, Jesus reiterated the mind of God concerning marriage in Mark10:6-9. He. Said from the begining, God join in marriage only one man and one woman, and so even now, when we are getting marriaed, the man and the woman are to separate from their extended families so that the two of them can build and raise another family. He also said that the TWO not three or four shall become one flesh. With a warning that nobody should separate the TWO. Are you looking for where it is written "Thus saith the Lord thy God, thou shalt marry only one wife"? Definitely you won't find it in the whole of the Bible, but a careful study on the above scriptures with revelation from the Holy Spirit will bail you out. Thanks. 1 Like |

ijawkid:God Bless you sir. You know, when someones mind is already made up over an issue, he will do all he could to support his evil act with even so called proofs. He just single out one point out of many because that is where his interest lies. |

lanre_front:Because they write books and other literatures in the name of God, the proceeds should go to church purse? I think this should be at the discretion of the minister or by the leading of the Holy Spirit but It is not a must for them to surrender it. You may as well be asking Gospel Musicians, Christian Movie makers, Comedians who performs their shows in the Church to surrender their royalties to the Church since they are doing it in the name of God. The Bible says a Labourer is worthy of his wages as long as the labour is a legitimate one. And I think the best form of labour is the one done in or through God's name. So, I believe the chunk of this Pastors' wealth comes from monetary gifts, royalties via their write-ups/publications, speaking engagements, CD/VCDs etc. But come to think of it, why is it that the members of such wealthy Pastors are not complaining? That tells you they are aware of the source of their Pastors' income. Let the hate towards these Pastors stop abeg. Allow God to be the judge. |

I think, the issue of marriage more often than none, centres on culture, background, orientation and ability(age/finance). Take for instance a Fulani man, he doesn't need much money of himself to marry. As long as he is 18 sometimes less, his parents will organize a woman for him. So also with some villagers and minorities around the middle belt of nigeria, all that is required of you is the ability to farm and bring enough farm produce home and you are qualified for marriage if you so wished, your age notwithstanding. How about an Igbo man? In as much as he is not financially Independent, no matter the age, he is not ready for marriage. So, in all deduction, it depends on circumstances, environment, culture, influence and decision. I married at 21 in 1998. I have three kids now with the eldest at 13years while I am 35yrs. No body forced me but the environment where I came from influenced me. And sincerely, I am now happy that I married at that age. Before I got married, I have been exposed/educated on marital life and I was determined to make it work for me as a Christian and here I am basking in the glory of God on marriage. Nobody should force you into it and no one should equally deny you going into it when you so desire even at 18years. 5 Likes |

In a developed countries where rigging is in a lower decimal, the opposition parties have worked tirelesly to educate the electorates on what Election entails and how to guard against rigging. But here in Nigeria, the opposition will go to sleep only to wake up 12months before election and when they lost out, 'the election had been rigged'. On whether Buhari should have communicated in English, I think this should not be an issue; he reserves the right to speak in whatever language that will be best understood by his listeners. Also, the issue of "The Dog and The Baboon will be soaked in Blood" if the election is rigged I think is not a figurative expression as someone claimed. National leaders don't communicate to their followers in figurative terms, they always speak out their minds accordingly. This same Buhari says if he is rigged out in 2011 elections, people will took to street, and true to his words his followers did. Now, what are the proofs that Buhari is rigged out? Is it when he did not win? The government of Jonathan is fighting his speech because they know that the man enjoys the support of uneducated or illitrate hausa youths who will do as Buhari has said in 2015 ignorantly and those at the receiving end will be the innocent nigerians residing in the North. Is violence the only solution to correct electoral fraud? Has Buhari ever organised a conference of either all political parties or opposition parties to fashioned out ways to curtail electoral fraud? For your understanding, any political party that Buhari does not belong to, is not genuine or he is less bothered about. Buhari is a selfish leader who fails to groomed a successor at this age. |

Jeffbaba: Mods pls this needs to be in the front page!!.......@JeffBaba, are you a christian or you belong to a different faith? If a christian, do you give offering or pay tithe in your local assembly? Moreso, can you advice the members of those churches that their pastor build private schools on which church to attend or are you saying they should stop going to church? You don't give a blind advice. |
