Politics / Re: Nigeria Needs Sacrificing Citizens To Progress – Tinubu by netricoin: 4:17pm On Jun 17, 2024
Despite buhari APC FG high level of borrowing, the Nigeria economy was not in danger of falling apart, neither was it as bad as it's now, so I think BAT APC FG don't have any excuse for their fail policy that has almost destroyed Nigeria economy. I can challenge them that the Nigeria economy will be in a better shape in a buhari 3rd term presidency

I do not expect people with the IQ of lunatics to respond to my post. Peter Obi only reap where he never sowed, what did Peter Obi contribute to formulate APGA ? Nothing.

Where was Obi when men stood to be counted during military era ?

After Peter Obi cheated his way to be omw APGA governor why did the foolish soul refuse to conduct LG election for 8 years n how does that nourish or facilitate democracy ?!
You yourself do you have information on how the APGA was form, I think your hate for Peter obi is making you look like a foolish person

I like to know as Peter Obi ever commented on any June 12 celebration from 1993 till this 2024 when he stand to gain n deceive his gullible followers ?

What as been Peter Obi antecedent in entrenching democracy? We all can attest role Atiku Tinubu played over the years.

Obidient ipob should shed light on Peter Obi contribution to democracy in Nigeria.

Peter obi is among the founding fathers of APGA, who played a part to make sure that Nigeria don't fall into a one party State. Peter obi played a part in helping APGA to win the governorship election in IMO state, Peter obi is the second biggest personality in Igbo land

Funny enough what do you expect for those who voted for that BAT boy the APC governor SO. BAT APC FG has a plan of getting extra money in Lagos State by increasing tax.
Company and industry there are playing smartly to the game by transferring the high cost of tax to their customers. No wonder we have heard of how some of these companies have shut down or reduce the size of their labour force and running out of Lagos State

Politics / Re: Terrorists Attack Military Base, Raid Katsina Communities, Kill Four Policemen, by netricoin: 12:56pm On Jun 11, 2024
They is presently a civil war in Nigeria between the BAT APC FG and the bandit. It started in buhari APC FG, which has taken a new level where the bandit are now stronger in attacking the Nigerian military forces and in insurgency in part of the NC, NW and NE.
The last time we had a civil war, was between the military FG and the igbos

LP still has zero structure. David Hundeyin has been telling Obidients to return back to PDP. PDP has the structure. NNPP does not have a federal structure too.
Except it is the issue of division on both parties, but LP and NNPP now have State & senators and many people in the urban areas and rural areas now know about the two political party
Politics / Re: Nigerians Will Decide If Atiku Or Obi Will Be PDP’s Candidate In 2027 – Bafarawa by netricoin: 3:56pm On Jun 09, 2024
But from the reality of things, it'll be very hard for BAT APC to win the 2027 presidential election, even if PDP, LP & NNPP don't form a merger, one of the reasons for this is because the structure factor is now there for LP and NNPP, what this means is that they will have the ability to divide votes in the NW, NE and NC. Election rigging will not even help BAT APC, because it is not easy rigging an election results when the large number of people who enter the polling unit was not interested in voting for you

Politics / When BAT Get High On Drugs, He Reminds Me Of Fela Kuti by netricoin: 9:57am On Jun 06, 2024
Fela kuti was one of the top best music star in those days. When he gets high on drugs, he will say things that are controversial and say what the Nigeria FG don't want to hear. When BAT get high on drugs, he also says things that are controversial and what people don't want to hear, like " he will feed many Nigerian with agabo and cassava and recruite million of Nigerian in the Nigeria army" & " to reduce the purchasing power of Nigerian"
When BAT was governor of Lagos State, they were areas he did well, and areas that he didn't do well, his performance in Lagos State was averagely ok, because by then he was mentally and physically okay. The negative effect of the hard drugs BAT has been taken has caused him not to be mentally and physically okay for any political position. BAT APC supporters saw a sign of this during BAT APC presidential campaign, but choose to play it down because of tribalism and partisan politics.
Buhari vs BAT when it comes to minister of petroleum:
Buhari has more right to be the minister of petroleum than BAT, because he has been the minister of petroleum before, in the time of general OBJ. BAT don't have any experience in that ministry. Buhari understand the problem in the petroleum industry that was why he built a oil refinenary in niger republic. Unfortunately BAT APC FG relationship with niger republic has been a poor one, that is why the Nigeria sanction on niger republic is affecting both Nigeria and niger republic negatively, just like when USA sanction China, the sanction will come back to hit USA

Politics / Re: Atiku Will Keep On Contesting For President "As Long As He Is Alive & Healthy" by netricoin: 11:41am On May 23, 2024

All candidates agreed that subsidy had to go.

Buhari subtly removed it by refusing to make budgetary provisions for it. Tinubu ought to have left it at that. But announcing it sent shock waves across the country because those wicked marketers hoarded products.

Defending the naira was also a form of dollar subsidy. You may not be aware that banks were hoarding fx because of the exchange rate differential. Also, there were too many BDCs unregistered that were doing the round-tripping. Like I argued then, every major currency is floated, but the market for trading fx is not floated. It is heavily regulated. But subsidizing dollar sakes, we open and sustain a new avenue of stealing by the already corrupt class. Okay, all the dollars Cardi B pumped into the system, what economic activity were they tied to?

Nothing! Just a store of wealth by the rich. The dollar subsidy had to go to free up funds for other things.

Are you aware that funds to universities and other tertiary institutions had increased? Are you also aware that FAAC allocations to states have increased?

As for minimum wage, many people do not know that FG pays more apart from the minimum wage. There are allowances that many civil servants would never talk about. I made a topic on it yesterday.

Ask any NNPC worker about allowances.

FG can pay 200k minimum wage because they already pay cumulatively up to that to some workers in the form of cumulated allowances. But the disparity with states that cannot pay will lead to an economic crisis. When retailers jerk up prices when they hear minimum wage increment, they never ask if you are a federal or state worker.

As for failure, Tinubu has not failed. Historically, one year is for settling in, two years for governance and the last year for politicking. If anything, Tinubu has shown he is bold and daring. He has learnt to be more tactical and diplomatic.

I don't see him failing.
One of the things you said here is misleading, it's not every country that float their currency. Floating of the currency depends on how the economy of the nation is doing, Nigeria economy is not yet good for currency floating
that's why a partial subsidy was added to the oil, naira, religious prigrimage and even palliative of which most was looted

The BAT APC FG they don't really understand how crypto currency work, because to ban naira from p2p crypto currency exchange, it'll mean to order all the Banks in Nigeria not to transfer money to anyone.
Crypto currency is not the problem of Nigeria economy, after all when you look back in the days of GEJ pdp FG, when they allowed crypto currency to operate freely and also in buhari APC FG first term presidency, the naira did well to the dollar

Politics / Any Good President Will Not Depreciate A Nation Currency by netricoin: 10:11pm On May 05, 2024
Any president that mean well for a nation will not do things that'll depreciate that nation currency, be it:
(1) floating the currency
(2) unnecessary borrowing for white elephant project, or for the purpose of looting
(3) encouraging corruption on a wider scale
(4) not taking the issue of security seriously
A president who is an enemy of a nation will do the above 4 factors.
It's compulsory and necessary for president of any nation to do things with the best of their ability for the appreciation of their country currency, which is the right of citizen of that country
When you look at the price of iPhone, it's not that it's too expensive, it's because our naira value to that of dollars is low. Had it been that the value of naira to Dollar was as high as N200-$1, then with just N60000 it'll have been possible to buy an iPhone of $300

And he said on live TV that he will "remove it immediately, I won't waste time, it will go".
So u are supporting a man contradicting himself?
U were one of those saying he never said he will float naira, I brought proof and u have avoided that topic, so u follow, canvass for and laud someone you don't know what he's saying?
Even if Peter obi said that he would float the naira, that doesn't mean that Peter obi will allow the naira to float out of control, one of the things Peter obi said that he would do differently from BAT was that he would allow the naira to float and control it at N650-$1

This is a bare faced Iie, we all know he said he will remove it immediately without wasting time, I watched live on TV and had the clip on my system before wiping it off few months ago.
I do follow Peter obi campaign policy, I have seen on his social media page where he gave more details on oil subsidy, which was that he will not remove it if he doesn't have a plan for the negatives that comes with it
Politics / Re: Floating Of Naira Worst Economic Decision - PENGASSAN by netricoin: 9:41pm On Mar 05, 2024
JagabanB:

You are mixing what a blogger wrote with the exact words of Obi.
Below is a tweet from Obi before elections, after elections, he started editing his statements to keep his mób firing on all cylinders.
So the picture below says what?
I wish I have the videos in his various town hall gatherings to show u where he said he will remove subsidy "immediately" he's sworn in, where he emphasized on floating the naira, videos also where questions were thrown at him and directed those questions at others.
Peter obi also said that he would not remove subsidy without having a plan to deal with the negative effect
Politics / Re: Floating Of Naira Worst Economic Decision - PENGASSAN by netricoin: 11:22am On Mar 05, 2024
JagabanB:

This is just what Obidents are saying now that Obi would have put measures in place before removing subsidy when Obi said emphatically that he will remove subsidy "immediately without wasting time, it has to go".
They both said they will remove subsidy and float the naira.
Obi said, his own which I remember very well that "market forces will determine the value of the naira".
Why twisting narratives now?
Why??
But you failed to include:
Finally, the Obi/Datti campaign states it will “dismantle” the multiple exchange rate regime and “demand” the “transparent liberalization of the foreign exchange market” which may or may not be a full float of the foreign exchange market.

“Fiscal and monetary policy will therefore be properly coordinated with each deploying conventional tools transparently instead of distorting markets to favour a few privileged persons. For the avoidance of doubt, we will demand the transparent liberalization of the foreign exchange market and the dismantling of the opaque multiple exchange rate regime which effectively subsidises a few privileged persons, whilst depriving government of badly needed revenues. When unaffordable subsidies are removed, some carefully calibrated transfers will be used to cushion any adverse impact on the economically weak
