Those who were defending buhari APC FG they make more sense than those defending BAT APC FG, infant BAT has made buhari to look like among the top 10 best president in Nigeria

emkz:

All candidates agreed that subsidy had to go.

Buhari subtly removed it by refusing to make budgetary provisions for it. Tinubu ought to have left it at that. But announcing it sent shock waves across the country because those wicked marketers hoarded products.

Defending the naira was also a form of dollar subsidy. You may not be aware that banks were hoarding fx because of the exchange rate differential. Also, there were too many BDCs unregistered that were doing the round-tripping. Like I argued then, every major currency is floated, but the market for trading fx is not floated. It is heavily regulated. But subsidizing dollar sakes, we open and sustain a new avenue of stealing by the already corrupt class. Okay, all the dollars Cardi B pumped into the system, what economic activity were they tied to?

Nothing! Just a store of wealth by the rich. The dollar subsidy had to go to free up funds for other things.

Are you aware that funds to universities and other tertiary institutions had increased? Are you also aware that FAAC allocations to states have increased?

As for minimum wage, many people do not know that FG pays more apart from the minimum wage. There are allowances that many civil servants would never talk about. I made a topic on it yesterday.

Ask any NNPC worker about allowances.

FG can pay 200k minimum wage because they already pay cumulatively up to that to some workers in the form of cumulated allowances. But the disparity with states that cannot pay will lead to an economic crisis. When retailers jerk up prices when they hear minimum wage increment, they never ask if you are a federal or state worker.

As for failure, Tinubu has not failed. Historically, one year is for settling in, two years for governance and the last year for politicking. If anything, Tinubu has shown he is bold and daring. He has learnt to be more tactical and diplomatic.

I don't see him failing.
One of the things you said here is misleading, it's not every country that float their currency. Floating of the currency depends on how the economy of the nation is doing, Nigeria economy is not yet good for currency floating
that's why a partial subsidy was added to the oil, naira, religious prigrimage and even palliative of which most was looted

One thing we can learn from Nelson Mandela and buhari is that in life you don't need to give up that easily, just be positive and try again to see if you will be successful, that is y atiku can still contest again or support Peter obi
PDP on their part should be ready to change their party name in any political party merger

The BAT APC FG they don't really understand how crypto currency work, because to ban naira from p2p crypto currency exchange, it'll mean to order all the Banks in Nigeria not to transfer money to anyone.
Crypto currency is not the problem of Nigeria economy, after all when you look back in the days of GEJ pdp FG, when they allowed crypto currency to operate freely and also in buhari APC FG first term presidency, the naira did well to the dollar

Politics / Any Good President Will Not Depreciate A Nation Currency by netricoin: 10:11pm On May 05
Any president that mean well for a nation will not do things that'll depreciate that nation currency, be it:
(1) floating the currency
(2) unnecessary borrowing for white elephant project, or for the purpose of looting
(3) encouraging corruption on a wider scale
(4) not taking the issue of security seriously
A president who is an enemy of a nation will do the above 4 factors.
It's compulsory and necessary for president of any nation to do things with the best of their ability for the appreciation of their country currency, which is the right of citizen of that country
When you look at the price of iPhone, it's not that it's too expensive, it's because our naira value to that of dollars is low. Had it been that the value of naira to Dollar was as high as N200-$1, then with just N60000 it'll have been possible to buy an iPhone of $300

JagabanB:

And he said on live TV that he will "remove it immediately, I won't waste time, it will go".
So u are supporting a man contradicting himself?
U were one of those saying he never said he will float naira, I brought proof and u have avoided that topic, so u follow, canvass for and laud someone you don't know what he's saying?
Even if Peter obi said that he would float the naira, that doesn't mean that Peter obi will allow the naira to float out of control, one of the things Peter obi said that he would do differently from BAT was that he would allow the naira to float and control it at N650-$1
Politics / Re: Floating Of Naira Worst Economic Decision - PENGASSAN by netricoin: 12:47pm On Mar 06
JagabanB:

This is a bare faced Iie, we all know he said he will remove it immediately without wasting time, I watched live on TV and had the clip on my system before wiping it off few months ago.
I do follow Peter obi campaign policy, I have seen on his social media page where he gave more details on oil subsidy, which was that he will not remove it if he doesn't have a plan for the negatives that comes with it
Politics / Re: Floating Of Naira Worst Economic Decision - PENGASSAN by netricoin: 9:41pm On Mar 05
JagabanB:

You are mixing what a blogger wrote with the exact words of Obi.
Below is a tweet from Obi before elections, after elections, he started editing his statements to keep his mób firing on all cylinders.
So the picture below says what?
I wish I have the videos in his various town hall gatherings to show u where he said he will remove subsidy "immediately" he's sworn in, where he emphasized on floating the naira, videos also where questions were thrown at him and directed those questions at others.
Peter obi also said that he would not remove subsidy without having a plan to deal with the negative effect
Politics / Re: Floating Of Naira Worst Economic Decision - PENGASSAN by netricoin: 11:22am On Mar 05
JagabanB:

This is just what Obidents are saying now that Obi would have put measures in place before removing subsidy when Obi said emphatically that he will remove subsidy "immediately without wasting time, it has to go".
They both said they will remove subsidy and float the naira.
Obi said, his own which I remember very well that "market forces will determine the value of the naira".
Why twisting narratives now?
Why??
But you failed to include:
Finally, the Obi/Datti campaign states it will “dismantle” the multiple exchange rate regime and “demand” the “transparent liberalization of the foreign exchange market” which may or may not be a full float of the foreign exchange market.

“Fiscal and monetary policy will therefore be properly coordinated with each deploying conventional tools transparently instead of distorting markets to favour a few privileged persons. For the avoidance of doubt, we will demand the transparent liberalization of the foreign exchange market and the dismantling of the opaque multiple exchange rate regime which effectively subsidises a few privileged persons, whilst depriving government of badly needed revenues. When unaffordable subsidies are removed, some carefully calibrated transfers will be used to cushion any adverse impact on the economically weak

Politics / Will BAT Be Able To Hold On To Power If Value Of Naira To $ Fall To N2000-$1 by netricoin: 8:19pm On Feb 20
Politicians have a understanding of Nigerian which is that Nigerian are use to the lifestyle of suffering, that's why they are those who have taken Nigerian are free for granted, but they is a limitation to that, example are the end SARS protests and the buhari APC naira design and protests.
Pressure is already mounting on BAT, in the SS where I come from they have been protests in some of the States there, and they've also been protests in some of the States in the NW, SW and the NC.
When the naira cross to the 1000 mark, it was a surprise to many, it'll be a bigger surprise if BAT APC FG was to allow the naira to cross to the 2000 mark. If that was to happen, the best thing for BAT to do will be for him to resign, because it will be a good proof that BAT doesn't have the capacity to continue as president of Nigeria.

I think you are right on this one, when we come to see that for the governorship election case of Kano, INEC didn't get involved in the tribunal court level, and INEC didn't get involved in the court of appeal level. But INEC deciding to get involved in the supreme Court level, will make it to be a case between APC vs INEC

Politics / 58.5M Nigerian Can Be Paid N10000 From Money Giving To Betta Edu by netricoin: 1:35pm On Jan 06
A total of 58.5M Nigerian in Lagos, Ogun, Cross River State and akwa ubom can be paid N10000, from the money giving to Betta edu. It's better to pay N10000 to as many Nigerian as possible than to fail in paying N50000 to their targeted poor Nigerian.
No need for a question like what can N10000 do for a person?
N10000 can be used for any meaningful investment or any available business online or offline
This post contain mathematical error
I think a total of 4.4M Nigerian can be paid N10000 from the 44 billion scam, and a total of 58500 can be paid N10000 from the 585M

Bandits are the strongest rebels force in Nigeria. Bandits is cause by economic hardship of buhari and BAT APC, the more economical hardship, the more increase in bandits activity.
If bandits can over power the Nigeria military, they will stage a partial coup in Nigeria
Politics / Re: It Finally Makes Sense Why Buhari Did Not Want Tinubu To Be President. by netricoin: 2:16pm On Dec 23, 2023
As for me, buhari is better than BAT
Those who want to compare buhari to BAT, it's like comparing a diluted acid to a concentrated acid. BAT so far hasn't done any meaningful project of his own, what he has done it is just a copy and paste from buhari previous project and with some error political appointment

When BAT who's under the influence of hard drugs said that oil refinary will be functioning in December, he didn't know what he was saying, now they are saying of January
