Religion / Suspension Of 152 Ministers With The Assemblies Of God Nigeria by NewAgeAkanbi: 5:39pm On May 30, 2017
We can remember that few weeks ago, Dr. Chidi Okoroafor's group published a felonious disclaimer, suspending some ministers despite that he (Chidi Okoroafor) has been operating illegally.

Today, The General Superintendent and his executives decided to put a stop to every mess that has been on-going for the past three years. They decided in their Executive Committee meeting to say NO to illegalities and thereby, suspending an Hundred and Fifty-Two (152) including Chidi Okoroafor (PhD), Rev. Ejikeme Ejim, Rev. Godwin Amaowoh and Rev. Vincent Alaje. Names of other suspended and dismissed pastors are also listed in AUTHORITY NEWSPAPER pg7 of 30th May ,2017

"Consequently upon the rebellious act of some members who on March 6th, 2014 attempted a palace coup to remove Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka as the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria, and their continuous rebellion and lack of remorse for their insubordinate behaviour, the Executive Committee of the Church hereby reaffirms the suspension and dismissal of the underlisted ministers, members and the persons whose photographs are displayed herein previously effected at the 35th Council Meeting of the Church..."

Their letters has since reached them and the general is being informed about these actions too.

Like our source said, "More are still coming"

The Crisis rocking Assemblies of God Nigeria has continued to linger with surprises coming up everyday. In a press conference held by a faction of the church led by Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka yesterday documents from the supreme court, attorney general of the federation and others showed that the Supreme Court Judgement of Feb. 24th, 2017 didn’t favour any of the parties but that staus quo should be maintained.

Furthermore, the General Superintendent, Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka in his speech, nullified the purported DISCLAIMER from the faction of Rev. Chidi Okoroafor suspending over a Hundred and Twenty-Nine (129) Ministers. Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka calls in his speech calls it madness.

Religion / Assemblies Of God Nigeria Yet Again! by NewAgeAkanbi: 8:43pm On May 17, 2017
POLICE in Enugu on Tuesday barred members of the Assemblies of God loyal to the General Superintendent of the church, Reverend Prof Paul Emeka from gaining entry into the National Secretariat of the church located at Plot R8, Ozobulu Street, Independence Lay-out, Enugu.

A detached armed policemen fired tear gas sporadically into the members of the church to disperse them from marching into the secretariat which they lost to their rivalry group as a result of illegal invasion with any order from the court led by Reverend Chidi Okoroafor who claimed he is now the General Superintendent of the church.

Scores of the protesting Assemblies of God members mostly women were wounded while moving peacefully to their church national secretariat the security operatives who insisted the Secretariat “is no-go area” for them.

The Reverend Emeka supporters had earlier gathered at Assemblies of God, New Haven, also in the metropolis where they were addressed by their Leader (Reverend Paul Emeka).

Reverend Emeka told them that the document the Reverend Chidi Okoroafor is parading is fake as it did not come from Supreme Court.

According to Reverend Emeka, “If the Supreme Court has given an order that Chidi should go in and Paul Emeka to go out, I would have gone whether Chidi is right or wrong”

“Why use self-help if Supreme Court had given such an order to exit me from office?”

“What pains me most is that Chdi was my student. I taught him. I want to let you know that Paul Emeka is not the problem in Assemblies of God. Even if I resign now many people have sworn no to work under Chidi and his cohort.”

The Cleric maintained, “The occupation of the Secretariat is evil. They want us to surrender. But we will not surrender to coup plotters. We will not surrender to those who do not know their Bible. We will not surrender to those who came to Assembly because of money. We will surrender to truth. We will surrender to God.”

“Let police do what it should do. The Police should not pretend. However, the Court has told us to take back our possession. We are going to reclaim our secretariat,” Emeka remarked.

In the suit no: FHC/EN/CSS/52/2017 which was made available to NIGERIAN TRIBUNE in Enugu, the Federal High Court, Enugu, presided over by Justice R. O. Dugbo-Oghoghorie granted an interim order to Emeka group, “retraining the police from stopping, restraining, preventing or in any manner whatsoever continuing to inhibit, lock out or exclude the Applicants namely Reverends Dr Raphael Itotoh, Emmanuel Ngene and Daniel Amaugo.

The clergymen had challenged the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State, Inspector-General of Police, Police Serving Commission and Attorney-General of the Federation at the Federal High Court, Enugu over the alleged illegal occupation of their secretariat by the police.

Update reaching us yesterday afternoon that It may interest you yesterday know that the supreme court has given interpretation to the supreme court judgement sign by the chief registrar signed by Mr Ibrahim Gold, Director(Legal, Processes & Archives).

It states:

We are not mindful of the order 8 Rule 18:

When the Court directs any judgement to be enforced by another Court.

a Certificate under the seal of the court and the hand of the Presiding Justice setting forth the judgement shall be transmitted by the Registrar to such other Court, and the latter shall enforce such Judgement in terms of the certificate.

We never transmitted any certificate to warrant enforcement. Do accept the assurances of the Chief Registrar's warm regards.

Religion / No Cause For Alarm - Prof. Paul Emeka (GS AGN) by NewAgeAkanbi: 1:10am On Mar 31, 2017
Yesterday being the 29th day in March 2017 was tagged BLACK DAY in AG Nigeria.

Chidi Okoroafor as usual, led tugs in Royal Rangers Uniform (RRN is the paramilitary arm of AG but aren't trained to carry guns).

Yesterday was a sad moment for AG Nigeria as everything turned upside down and God was up high looking. They forcefully entered Ozubulu Street, shooting sporadically on the air. The police couldn't do anything because they have been bribed already. Pastors on ground were teargassed. With them was a ballif with some documents claiming to be the enrollment order from the supreme court.

Dr. Chidi broke the padlock and the commissioner of police ushered them into the council. They broke into council breaking every door and forcing themselves into every office. It was hell! The same happened with the chapel, CTS and evangel TV. Some student pastors that didn't go for accounts that were in their hostels were massively beaten with wire and koboko.

As law abiding citizen, the GS and the ECs had to make enquiries because it what they got was to be true and legal, it should have been done peacefully; having both parties on the ground with their lawyers while the NPF witnesses it.

After series of investigations today, it was found out that Chidi's movement yesterday was completely illegal. The ballif, illegal (See documents below for your perusal). The NPF bribed because the IG wasn't in the country.

Now the big question is: WHAT NEXT?

God has never been an unjust God. The die is cast and everything is rolling out so fast. The law is already on them.

The government of the federation cannot continue to abhor such illegalities and lawlessness from Dr. Chidi and co. Some people would be going to jail soon. Already the charges are much on them.

Lastly, We tried as much as possible to reach the PA to the GS but met the GS face to face and he said that there is no cause for alarm. In his words: "we are still under the atmosphere of victory and God has not failed us. Every pastor and member should remain calm and hold your church well. We cannot allow darkness rule over light. The devil has always been a failure and will continue to be". He also told us that work continues as his program tonight till Sunday continues.

God bless you.
It's still the atmosphere of victory.

Religion / Let The Truth Be Told For Once - Legal Unit Agn by NewAgeAkanbi: 9:49am On Mar 15, 2017
Its less than four weeks now that the Apex court in the country (Nigeria) gave its 70paged ruling about the Assemblies of God Nigeria case.

A lot of people have been intimidated, including pastors, members and churches. Lies has been told and people sternly warned not to put their hands or err their views about the judgment. Those that wanted to dive into it without looking back were suspended (as usual) and excommunicated from the other faction of the church. Churches were made to pay millions of Naira by this faction of the church to carry out their mind games.

One question people kept asking is WHAT IS THE TRUE STATE OF THE CHURCH. WHO IS RIGHT AND WHO IS WRONG. WHAT EXACTLY DID THE SUPREME COURT SAY?

Now take your time to watch the video below cos it answers all your question.

I have seen an Error under the sun!

‘’ A father struggled and was able to get a football for his son after years of unfulfilled promise. For several weeks, the son kept watching and admiring the ball. One day, he decided (for the first time) to take the ball out and play which is the original value for a football.

While in the midst of the excitement another boy came struggling to take the ball away from him, so much that the neighborhood gathered and discussion started on the matter regarding the ball. The young boy’s father stood and watched not making any response believing it was a straight-forward matter and that any elder will bring a quick solution and harmony between the two boys.

Unfortunately, only for the elders to conclude that instead of the fight between the two boys, the football should be ceased. Depriving the owner of the ball his right, devaluing the ball, and giving the “intruder” the opportunity of shortening the excitement of a father’s gift’’.

The question is:
* Are these elders fair?
* What is it about the father’s silence?

Reading from the Supreme Court ruling of page 69 and page 70 of the supreme court Judgement between Rev Prof Paul Emeka, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria and 19 others(Not the church, who wants him out by all means).

‘’ Having resolved issues 1 and 2 against the appellant, I am of the view that no useful purpose would be served by considering the remaining issues. (1)The failure to prove that the respondents were served with the originating processes in compliance with the order for substituted service renders ineffectual and liable to be set aside.(2) I also agree with the court below (Appeal Court) that the Fundamental Rights Enforcement Procedure was inappropriate in the circumstances of this case and affected the competence of the trial court (High Court) to hear the suit.

The proceedings therefore amounted to nullity and were rightly held to be so by the lower below (Court of Appeal). See: Madukolu Vs Nkemdilim (1962) 2 SCNLR 341. Having upheld the findings of the Court below (Appeal Court) in this regard (1 and 2 which are Wrong service and Not supposed to be under Human right but writ of summon). It follows that all other findings (Suspension, Unconstitutional General Committee meeting held on March 6th, 2014, and Removal from the seat as the General Superintendent of AGN as upheld by the Appeal Court. Whereas, these were not part of the brief brought before her from the High Court) on the merit of the application were made Obiter (All other findings ON THE MERIT of Appeal Court are Over the bar, Null and Void etc. (Suspension of the Rev Prof Paul Emeka which included other finding is null and void-obiter, the illegal general committee without the 33% endorsement and not laid on the GS table is over the bar-obiter )…in Suit No. E/202M/2014 is hereby struck out (NOT DISMISSED; Meaning can be reserved) for being incompetent.

What the Supreme Court succeeded in doing was to give the two parties opportunity to have a level ground to either reconcile or go their different ways as long as Jesus Christ is preached.

On the premise of the above statement, on march 6th, 2014 when the meeting that led to this crisis rocking AGN was held and chaired by the retired Rev Charles Osueke who led Assemblies of God, Nigeria for 22years, 8months who hated Rev Prof Paul Emeka with everything in his vein, even when Prof Paul Emeka had not gone to court, but announced his purported suspension for going to court. Until they plotted throwing him out of his apartment, got court injunction depriving them of this evil, Prof Paul Emeka, stood alone with few men who does not believe in coup plotting but today he has 51 Undivided Districts which make up 1.8million membership while should anyone think God is not in the affair of this church to teach the church, government and the world lessons that God is still in the affairs of men.

Rev Chidi Okoroafor until now operate and runs their church business activities from AGN National camp Okpoto in Ebonyi, State Nigeria without disturbance, then why should the National Secretariat AGN were the authentic General Superintendent operate and runs God business be sealed, even after the judgment which states no winner no looser instead of a statement from the government that keeps everyone in their different place of abound until they see reason for reconciliation.

What is the fate of our Government, Judiciary, Communication/Media, The Church and families? If injustice, Coup plotting, Forceful dethronement, Falsehood, Cabalism is allowed to prevail in Assemblies of God, Nigeria. Then Coup plotting should be legalised in Government, Religious body and families.

This is a wrong signal for the posterity of the body of Christ (the Church) and this great nation. I and so many others have being is this struggle for three years not with any personal benefits but the posterity of this church and the nation.
Even if I die today, let it be said that truth is the only bases to make men free is not by group of influential men, Not affluence of men, Not falsehood, Not Gangsterism, Not turning the judicial system to oppress the lonely, Not been silent in the midst of oppression, Not ceasing the football, in order to make the innocent suffer with the intruder, and Not putting a closed eye on the substance and allowing powers behind the course for injustice to prevail.

It is about Rev Prof Paul Emeka and 51 Undivided Districts of Assemblies of God Today. Tomorrow it could be you, your denomination and our nation.

Stand up for truth today. As a theologian, physicist, and a graduate of mass communication if I can interpret the judgment from the apex court, what then is the challenge of the necessary body to do justice and let all stay in peace? ‘’A PEACEFUL RELIGION IS A PEACEFUL NATION’’.

Religion / My Interest Is Not My Position But The Restoration Of The Church - Ppe by NewAgeAkanbi: 6:55pm On Mar 02, 2017
Prof Paul Emeka said that his interest is not his position but the restoration of the church so that the church will become one again.

The council representing Prof. Paul Emeka, Barr. Clement Dike has described as "laughable", the media reports that the Supreme Court removed Prof. Paul Emeka as the General Superintendent.

Speaking to newsmen, Bar. Dike informed the general public that on the contrary, the Supreme Court declared as null and void, the purported suspension of prof. Paul Emeka as the General Superintendent.

While presenting the 70paged rolling of the Supreme Court, Barr. Dike said that the Supreme Court neither sacked Prof. Paul Emeka nor made Chidi Okoroafor the GS.

Religion / Is Assemblies Of God Nigeria National Secretariat Sealed? by NewAgeAkanbi: 1:59pm On Feb 25, 2017
Yesterday went down history as the Assemblies of God Nigeria court case at the Apex court was read out. Many misunderstood the judgment. Many has also said so many things about the judgment. Some even posted false documents claiming it was the judgment but the documents are expected to be out by Monday.

Lies also spreads like wide fire but truth no matter how long it takes, would still occupy its position when it finally reaches it destination. Truth cannot be ignored no matter what.

Amongst the news of yesterday, it was claimed that the National Secretariat has been sealed and also taken over by the other faction of the church. Few minutes ago when the Media Director of Assemblies of God Nigeria posted a picture of himself inside the secretariat with the Royal Rangers Commander, our team stormed the premises and saw that the news was true. Activities are still on-going as at the time of this report. It was never sealed. The NPF only came there to make sure that the enemies of the Church didn't succeed.

We therefore, urge everyone to go about his business. This is weekend. Monday, work resumes in earnest according to what we gathered. Meanwhile, we decided to storm the house of the General Superintendent, Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka to know what was happening there and behold, we were welcomed with a basket of BONS prepared by the wife of the General Superintendent, Dr. Sharon Emeka.

We also gathered that this act of wild fire media rantings by the other faction of the church, happened in 2014 just to morally distablize the members and pastors of Assemblies of God Nigeria. But no matter how much one tries to kill the TRUTH, after 3days, it would sure resurrect.

Religion / Assemblies Of God Leadership Tussle: Supreme Court Judgment by NewAgeAkanbi: 6:09pm On Feb 24, 2017
[img]THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SUPREME COURT JUDGEMENT ON THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH NIGERIA CRISIS.

We all can recall that for the past three years (3years), there was a purported suspension on the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria. This singular act has brought about division in the church and the church has been from one court to the other.

The case between the General Superintendent, Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka vs Chidi Okoroafor and others started from the Enugu High Court and then the Appeal and today was the 90th day at the Supreme Court.

Within the last few hours of the Judgment at the Supreme Court, a lot has been said but the question remains: WHAT DID THE SUPREME COURT SAY? WHAT WAS THE JUDGEMENT GIVEN? WHAT IS THE TRUE STATE OF THE CHURCH?

The Supreme Court (a) declared null and void the March 6th meeting. (b) Suspension and dismissal of Prof. Paul Emeka, was also declared null and void (c) Chidi Okoroafor was not declared General Superintendent (d) Appeal Court pronouncement on suspension, dismissal were thrown out from the window and called obiter dictum.

The Supreme Court then asked for a reserve. And that Rev Prof Paul Emeka, remains the General Superintendent of AGN.

IMPLICATIONS:

1. That the case was not meant to be a human right case.

2. If it is to be a human right case, The General Council should serve it right because, the service was not properly DONE; that Dr. Chidi should have been served at plot R8, Ozubulu Street and not his residence, as in the case of appeal which gives non of the parties reason to rejoice over the other. Anyone doing otherwise is only pretending or being ignorant of the true situation on ground.

3. The matter should come under civil.

4. That everybody should return to High Court to start over again.

5. Prof Paul Emeka, is still the General Superintendent of AGN.

6. In conclusion No winner, No loser. We are still brethren.

IN GENERAL:

OUR LOSS:
N30MILLION DAMAGES WERE WITHDRAWN BECAUSE THEY CANT PAY IT, AND WE WERE ASKED TO GO BACK AND SERVE THEM WELL SO THAT THEY WILL NOT HAVE ANY EXCUSE.

FURTHER ACTION: WE HAVE ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF THAT, we are already in Abakiliki High court by way of writ of summons, if we like we pursue the fundamental human right if we don't like we leave it there.

As the celebration was ongoing at the Secretariat, experts on lies/propaganda came with false information that we were shooting at National Secretariat. Their target is just to SEAL THE SECRETARIAT whereas it was jubilation. As a result of such false information they brought in police to cut short our celebration. We have as well gone to clarify the issue. Truth will always overcome. No course for alarm.
