The family of the abducted monarch of Iba town in Lagos, Yushau Oseni, on Friday said the kidnappers have demanded a N500 million ransom.
One of the king’s daughters, Mrs Ramota Oseni,‎ told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the abductors contacted the family on 20.
The 74-year -old traditional ruler was abducted at his Iba palace ‎on July 16.
The daughter, who was a former chairperson of Iba Local Government Area, said the family refused to make the abductors’ demand public for security reasons.

Gloria Onuoha, Roseline Onwuameze and Thomas Nwigwe were arrested for allegedly forging the signature of Gov. Ugwuanyi of Enugu State. They're reportedly specialised in forging documents for people to gain employment into government establishments in the state.
They're believed to be working in one of the Enugu-based hospitals. The state's Police P.R.O said they had forged a letter purported to have emanated from the office of the governor and signed by Ugwuanyi himself.
They reportedly used the letter to gain employment at the Enugu State Teaching Hospital, Parklane, as Account Grade 11, Level 7, Higher Executive Officer (HEO), Level 8 as well as Chief Typist CONTISS 8, Step 13, respectively.

An elderly man said to be on his late 50s almost lost his life for stealing a power bank in one of the shops at Computer Village Jos.
It was gathered that the man whose name was not disclosed went into one Mrs Amaka shop while her husband was away. Due to much customers in the shop, he tried to move away with a power bank, but was not lucky enough and he got caught.

He received the beating of his life and almost killed before a military officer came to his rescue. Watch graphic video below:
