They are employed by APC to support the evil in the country. But I wonder what their end would look like.

Is this how Putin want to continue with the war by conscripting migrants? What happened to the imported Nort-Korean soldiers? He has already exhausted the manpower needed to continue pushing forward but shame will not allow him to stop the needless war he started.

SULBELL:
in the midst of the Tax reform bill controversy, the deduction of the N50 Electronic transfer levy for transactions above N10,000 have started across Fintech payment platform.

This begs the question how this will encourage cashless policy?

It is regressive in my own opinion. A peasant receiving N10,000 is parting away with 0.5% of his income while a well-established business receiving N100,000 will be parting away with only 0.05%.

This will discourage cashless policy on many fronts.

Travel / Re: Why Nigerians In The UK Hate Each Other With A Passion And Always Bone Eachother by Newton2024: 6:57pm On Dec 02
diamond68:
Now it's no secret among Nigerians living in the UK that the hardest time you will get in the UK will be from a fellow Nigerian. They bone you on the street, look at you in anger, you greet them they don't greet back, you work with them they try to get you fired, they see you in a train and don't want to sit next to you etc etc. It's very fascinating to observe this behaviour . So why does this happen ?

It's very important to understand that the landmAss called Nigeria is just a geographic location like everywhere else on the planet. If you evicted all 200 million Nigerians from that location and filled it up with whites or Chinese, in under 50 years Nigeria will be transformed to a first world paradise and the whole world would want to japa into Nigeria because imagine a first world country that's blessed with that much resources and it's managed well ? It would be the ultimate pAradise on earth. Nigeria has the potential to be the ultimate pAradise on earth . So it's not the country that's the problem, it's the people.

When someone japas out of Nigeria he is running away from the people not the country. And when he sees the same people in the UK he trieS to run away from them. He tries to japa from them. He does not want to associate with them. It's the same people he japA from in Africa. In his mind he associates these people with corruption and violence and brashness and mismanagement and stealing and incompetence. So the Nigerian tries to japa from the Nigerian everywhere he sees him outside of Nigeria

Even in Nigeria here, in my place of work, some won't greet me unless I greet them first. Whenever I greet some, they won't answer. They just turn sideway.

Why is Opay deducting #50 from my account on transactions of #10,000 or more? I pay more than #2,000 as P.A.Y.E tax every month whereas I earn 70k as salary. VAT is still there on provisions and other stuffs. Is this not multiple taxation on a meagre income?

Tinubu should stop copying working countries when it comes to tax. Our incomes are not the same.

Education / Re: Did You Ever Regret The Choice Of Your Course Of Study? by Newton2024: 4:12pm On Dec 01
SavageBoy:
If you aren't going to school to study any of the courses listed below, pls don't bother going at all:

•Medicine
•Nursing
•Pharmacy
•Computer Science
•Radiography
•Some engineering courses

If it's not any of the above, abeg sit down for house, use that money you would have used to pay school fees and get a Laptop... start learning to code,in 8 months time, you'll be glad you did so.

What I came to realize about life is this; our parents know what they've seen when they urge and insist we study "professional" courses in school, but we young folks disregard their point of view as "ancient"... I for example was studying Botany in the university, reasoned what I'll do with this thing in the long run... omorr I saw I was just wasting my time oh,took jamb in my third year, applied for pharmacy in a federal ⁰, got the admission... I'm really glad I made that decision.

Living in Nigeria is hard... don't make it harder for yourselves by studying Nonsense
I'm also glad you made the decision. Please also thank God for giving you sponsors.

What are the *some engineering courses*?
Religion / Re: Why Christian Women Should Submit In Marriage. by Newton2024: 3:51pm On Dec 01
ebubeson:
Before I continue.

Ephesians 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it"

Ephesians 5:22 "Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord"

Your wife is to be treated with much love, respect, care, attention etc. You are not to be like a boss over, but a good leader to her. She can give you Godly counsel and guide you on matters she knows God's will on. You are not to be domineering, but flexible even as you lead.

On the part of the wife, respect your husband and submit to him. See yourself as a Deputy or Vice President of the home. Submit to him on things that are good and Godly. Anything that God hates and does not conform to God's will, do not submit to anyone on that.

A wife is to be good, humble, not toxic and not rude. A husband too should be good, humble, not to toxic and not rude. Do not give place to the devil in your marriage.

Husbands love your wives. Wives submit to your husbands.

Note: From the insight I got from someone, marry who you can respect.

Happy Sunday.
What is the difference between a boss and a leader? What's the difference between being domineering and leading?

Ofcourse, you know those supplying them with all the GPS mappings and logistical supplies for this renewed bloodbath! It is the same people that call themselves the "Gods own country". Creating Islamic terrorist groups and using them as launch pads to infiltrate different societies, have become the hallmarks of western foreign policy pursuits. When those groups later start to "misbehave" and attack Western targets, it becomes another opportunity for more bombings. We need a new world order.
Rebel commander in the Jaish al-Izza rebel brigade Mustafa Abdul Jaber said the speedy advance was due to insufficient Iran-backed manpower in the broader province. Iran's allies in the region have suffered a series of blows at the hands of Israel as the Gaza war expanded to the Middle East.

So?

How did the father born Jesus?

a. Sexual reproduction!

b. Asexual reproduction!

c. Metaphorical birth!

d. Creation

Who told you Jesus is the word? Show me one verse where Jesus himself call himself the word (logos)?

It must John or Paul or others that will say it on his behalf!

Jesus is the incarnation of God's word. He was conceived through the Holy Spirit.

Common sense or logic is not enough to understand Him. You need the Holy Spirit to give you understanding.

Also why does Nairaland post only negative things about Christian’s on Sundays but post only messages for Muslims on Friday? Is that an agenda or what? Plenty Alfa’s are doing human sacrifice but they don’t post them of Fridays only to keep posting negative news on Sundays when it should be about uplifting messages
It's because Seun, the owner of Nairaland is a little Antichrist.

I understand her point of view and perspective and the fact women are more emotional than men. She doesn't really want their money but their show of love. No one in her shoes would be happy. However, there are words that are better unsaid.

I'm unsatisfied because you always quote Paul in almost all cases! Did Jesus forgot to preach grace? Show us the grace Jesus preached to the rich ruler? What is the gospel Jesus preached while on earth?

Let Jesus himself speak not Paul's letters!

And do you agree God killed Job's children while testing righteous Job?

So if you're righteous God can still kill your family to test you!

So God does not bless those who are faithful as you said earlier. Job was faithful. Yet he suffered!

Assuming Jesus too was tempted with the death of his mother and disciples you think he won't run away?
You need to give your life to Christ. He died for you.

I am still looking for where Jesus himself did talked about grace! And you still refused to admit your blunder about the calamity God created in Isaiah 45:7 as it relates to Job and his kids?

All you keep quoting is Paul or someone else apart from Jesus!

Did Jesus forgot to talk about grace? Did he preach grace to the rich ruler or works? Where did Jesus himself tell anyone to believe he would die for him to be saved?
Why are you not satisfied with my answers?

2 Corinthians 12:9: Jesus says to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Jesus is described as being full of grace in the Bible in John 1:14, which says, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth".
Here are some other Bible verses that mention grace:
Titus 2:11-14: Describes Jesus as coming from the Father, full of grace and truth
1 Corinthians 15:10: Paul describes his conversion as a free and undeserved gift from God
Ephesians 2:8: Says that people are saved by grace
Romans 5:20–21: Says that grace abounded more than sin increased
Romans 6:14: Says that people are not under law but under grace, so sin will have no dominion over them
1 Peter 5:10: Says that God will restore and make people strong after they have suffered a little while
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17: Says that God gave people eternal encouragement and good hope by his grace

The word "grace" has many different meanings, including "unmerited favor" or "getting what you don't deserve". It can also be defined as a quality in God that produces free gifts for sinners in salvation.

Isaiah 45:7 is about God's sovereignty over all things, including good and bad, and how he creates both prosperity and calamity. This is relevant to Job because in the Bible, God speaks to Job out of a storm and questions him about his plans.

Isaiah 45:7
Meaning
God is responsible for all things, including creating light and darkness, and making peace and evil.

Context
God blesses those who are faithful and punishes those who disobey.

Relevance to Job
God's sovereignty over all things is a cause for hope, and he promises to craft experiences for our ultimate benefit.

Above all, God is unquestionable. Kabio'osi ni Olodumare. He knows more than us.
