Unabefool:
i don't think so. Only easy cliq subscribers get free mb after recharge but cliq's call tariff is just too high. I.e. 30kobo per second to call all networks @40kobo per second after the first minute.

I think this is the best call tariff plan in naija currently. Though MTN zone offers cheap call tariff sometimes but it fluctuates. Not constant.
Please, how do I subscibed to Easy Clig. Thanks.
Politics / APC Cannot Sustain 3months Of Madness From FFK And Fayose. by NextIG(m): 7:19pm On Mar 10, 2015
Elder Obawusi Obafemi posted

APC cannot sustain 3months of madness from FFK and Fayose. 6years down d line PDP shouldered madness from Bisi Akande, lai Mohamed and co. I like this intolerance. When FFK was in the APC and constantly attacking the president, he was deemed normal by these guys...But then FFK left.(by himself, he wasn't expelled or anything like that).. and has turned the attack style back to the APC, now they are questioning his mental state? The fact is that APC takes in all sorts of mentally disturbed people from the PDP and double promotes them so all this coming from the APC shows that Femi Fani Kayode is being effective with his campaign. Don’t be deceived. Even if Jonathan have turned Nigeria into a Dubai these same people would have still called for change for selfish reasons. Buhari is not medically fit to rule Nigeria again. He looks weak and tired. How can a man who does not have the required minimum educational qualification be positioned to contest in the forthcoming presidential election? GEJ TILL 2019!!!!

Politics / APC Seeks For Jega's Removal After 2013 Anambra Election. Why Crying Foul Now? by NextIG(m): 1:01pm On Mar 05, 2015
>>>After the 2013 Anambra State Governorship election that APC lost, Tinubu, Buhari and other APC leaders protested in Abuja, calling for Prof Attahiru Jega’s sack and dissolution of the management of INEC.
Now, the same APC people are shouting that Jega must not be removed.
Between November 2013 that they said Jega was a BAD person and now, has anything changed? <<<

>>>Here is THE NATION newspaper report of November 28, 2013...

#Anambra poll: Buhari, Tinubu, others protest at INEC headquarters#

Top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by a former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari defied police and military barricade to march on the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in protest against the shoddy conduct of the governorship poll in Anambra State.

They demanded outright cancellation of the election by INEC.

They also called for the resignation of INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega and dissolution of the management of the electoral body.

Reminiscence of pro-democracy struggle between 1993 and 1998 during the dark days of military era, the leaders trekked for about five kilometers from APC National Secretariat in Blantyre Street in Wuse II part of Abuja to Zambezi Crescent in Maitama District where INEC is located.

The initial stage of the trek was piloted by Governors Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun State) and Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti State) and many members of the National Assembly.

The great trek was later coordinated by a former National Secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change, Engr. Buba Galadima.

But when the procession took off, Buhari and some top leaders of APC withstood the rigours of standing in an open lorry for the protest march.

Others tucked in the lorry were the National Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande, the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; a former National Chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu; a former National Chairman of the defunct All Peoples Party(APP), Alhaji Yusuf Ali; ex-Governor Ahmed Sani Yerima, ex-Governor Segun Osoba; ex-Governor Niyi Adebayo; Senator Nazif Suleiman; the Deputy National Secretary of APC, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, Senator Abu Ibrahim; and a former member of the House of Representatives, Comrade Dino Melaye.

Others who participated in the hectic protest were Senator Oluremi Tinubu; Senator (Prof.) Sola Adeyeye; Senator Domingo Obende; Senator Anthony Adeniyi; Senator Ahmed Lawan; Senator Gbenga Asafa; House Minority Leader, Hon. Femi Gbajiabiamila and the Chairman of the House Committee on the Diaspora, Hon. Abike Dabiri.

Others were the Deputy Minority Chief Whip in the House, Hon. Garba Datti; Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Suleiman Kawu; Hon. Umar Bago; Hon. Adeola Solomon; Hon. Yakubu Balogun; Hon. Pally Iriase; Hon. Munir Hakeem; Hon. Abayomi Ayeola; Hon. Taiwo Adelekan; Hon. Adeyinka Ajayi; Hon. Gafar Akintayo; Hon. Sunday Adepoju; Hon. Ajibola Famurewa; the APC National Women Leader, Barrister Sharon Ikeazor, APC National Treasurer, and Hajiya Sadiat Umar Farouk,

Waving brooms amidst blare of revolutionary songs, traffic was brought to a standstill for about two hours along the ever busy Ademola Adetokunbo Street in Wuse II.

Many workers in the business district abandoned offices to identify with the protesters.

They wielded leaflets and placards with the following inscriptions: “Anambrarians, Nigerians are with you,” “Anambra Election: Jega, not the INEC Messiah, Resign Now,” “2015, No hope with Jega,” “No Supplementary Election in Anambra,” “Cancel Anambra Governorship Election Now,” “Election Fraud Must Stop Now.”

Rubbish written by another dunce from PDP blood thirsty camp. Is this part of the lies and blackmail you all planned and have been talking about in the last few days? Is this part of the so called "heat" you want to put Jega under before the election day?

You can spin whichever way you want. Buhari is going to contest and win this election. Buhari is here to stay. Go back to drawing board and keep planning. You should have quit by now if you all have your senses intact because everything you have thrown at Buhari has made the man more popular and more acceptable in the eyes of the voters.

keep cooking up lies and keep attaching your crazy links to rubbish from Reno Omokri factory.
Well, Mr Insincere, to you, the information above is rubbish and lies. Just chill. The recent postponment of this election will reveal so many dirty and evil programs which have been concealed by your evil party in order to rig the election. If not for their evil plans, why the hue and cry concerning the shift in date? Was 14 and 28 of February a constitutional date? The coming revelations with facts in the coming days will surprise the world. The APC you are trying to die for is not the saints you are thinking. Just wait.

HOW NIGERIA’S OPPOSITION BROUGHT IN AN OBAMA AFFILIATED FIRM TO ENSURE ELECTION FOR A BRUTAL MILITARY DICTATOR
February 9, 2015

It is a well known fact that David Axelrod was the architect of Barack Obama’s election and re-election campaign.

What is less known is that the same Axelrod was hired by Nigeria’s opposition party, APC, to ensure victory for it’s Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, a man with a horrible history of Human Rights abuses to his name.

In the last year, Nigeria sought aid from the White House for many initiatives, including the fight against Boko Haram.

The Obama  administration refused to do anything but play lip service to Nigeria’s requests. However, it used public and private channels to internationally magnify every failure Nigeria’s government experienced.

In the last year, since the involvement of Axelrod’s firm, relations between the two nations have significantly deteriorated, with the US refusing to sell arms to Nigeria, a significant reduction in the purchase of Nigeria’s oil, and the cancellation of a military training agreement between Nigeria and the USA.

In turn, the Buhari led Nigerian opposition, used the US Govt’s position as validation for their claim that the Nigerian government was a failure.

In a February 9th article in the Washington Free Beacon (http:///guDlSH), the extent of Axelrod’s involvement in manipulating Nigeria’s affairs is revealed.

“A political consulting firm founded by Obama administration confidante David Axelrod has been far more involved in backing controversial Nigerian presidential candidate Gen. Muhammadu Buhari than previously disclosed…

Axelrod’s firm, the Chicago-based AKPD, has admitted to doing work on behalf of Buhari’s All Progressives Congress (APC) party in the past, but claimed to have ceased its ties in March 2014 after the Islamist terror group Boko Haram kidnapped hundreds of Nigerian schoolgirls.

However, emails sent between senior APC party members and advisers show that contrary to the firm’s claims, AKPD has quietly continued to perform political work on Buhari’s behalf as he fights to unseat current President Goodluck Jonathan.

In a series of messages between senior APC officials and advisers from September 2014 to late January 2015, AKPD polling and other work are repeatedly discussed.

“The meeting went well and the report well received. [Gov. Rotimi Amaechi] will meet with the AKPD team tomorrow to discuss the facilitation of the event but no dates fixed yet,”

APC member Olubunmi Adetunmbi wrote in one September 23 email to top Buhari adviser Kayode Fayemi.

AKPD’s work is again mentioned in a separate chain of emails sent between Buhari’s running mate, Yemi Osinbajo, and adviser Fayemi.

“I also think the AKPD surveys also clearly showed that the South West is the battle ground for this election,” Osinbajo writes in a discussion about boosting election turnouts for the APC.

A third email chain from Jan. 21 shows APC leader Nasir El-Rufai discussing an “October 2014 AKPD poll” that he hoped to disseminate to “the team.”

Other sources on the ground and familiar with the APC’s campaign say that the party has been trying to keep AKPD’s ongoing work quiet. It is rumored that AKPD employees are being housed in an APC compound located in Lagos, according to multiple sources.

“The sense is they’re being hidden currently in Lagos,” said another insider on the ground who would only speak on background. “They’re trying to keep a very low profile.”

AKPD’s close ties to the Obama administration also has given rise to criticism from those who see the White House as meddling in the elections.

“They have been particularly careful not to be seen at all because of the perception of the connection between Axelrod and the president and what that would convey,” said one of the sources quoted above.”

It is shameful that the United States has chosen to blatantly involve itself in Nigeria’s partisan politics, not based on any sort of foreign policy principle, but on a need to ensure that Axelrod’s company got to deliver on one of it’s most lucrative foreign contracts.

Someone who attended the service live is reporting to you the true nature of things, but here you are in your ready made evil mind asking for electronic evidence. This is pure lie against the Person of the Bishop. Whoever concocted that lie and even open a thread with it, shall surely experience the judgement that befell 52 children who mocked Prophet Elisha.

"I think in a free society, there is a right to cause offense about someone's religion. I'm a Christian. If someone says something offensive about Jesus, I might find that offensive but in a free society I don't have a right to wreak my vengeance upon them. We have to accept that newspapers, magazines can publish things that are offensive to some as long as it's within the law."

Politics / Will The North Vote In Buhari As President In Case Nigeria Divides? by NextIG(m): 5:29pm On Jan 18, 2015
I held from the North and to be precised, Gombe State. I was in Primary One going to Two when pa Buhari seized power from Shagari. I keep wondering what actually is the motivating factor behind the so much support pa Buhari is getting from the Northern axis especially from the youths of 18years to 45years and some few elders because, I hardly hear or see prominent Northern elders discuss or give a tacit support to Buhari. Apart from the "Saintly" robe status they are wearing on Pa Buhari as an incorruptible man, is there anything we can Truly point out as the achievement of Buhari while in Power and out of Power to the Northern region? And in case of separation today, can the same Northern youths and the few elders supporting Buhari now, ever drump support for him to vie for the presidency of Federal Republic of Northern Nigeria, Arewa Republic, Sahara Kingdom or whatever name the new nation will bear? Or, is there something they are hiding from us with this unrepentant support? Because to me, I've not seen the positive contribution of this man in any way to the North both while in power and out of power. Just asking and asking and asking. Someone should kindly educate me on why I should give Pa Buhari my support. Mature minds for discussions please.

Note: GEJ is not my best candidate so far. But in the absence of a convincing facts, I Think! I Think!! I Think!!!.....

Thanks!

Most of the posts above me are nothing but a trash. Instead of you people to address what the governor was reacting to, you are busy condemning him. Is there anything wrong in telling you that if you slap me I will slap you back? Base on the report, the Governor said "If you dare attacked our campaign team, burnt our houses or do anything untoward because of election, we will repay you in the same coin. Now, tell me where did the Governor man gone wrong? By this statement, I tell you the truth, the campaigns and election here in Kaduna will go on smooth without any form of violence especially against an opponent. It is because people are being quiet that's why the political thugs are always having their way. The Bible says, "Why do people commit crimes so readily? Because crime is not punished quickly enough. Ecc 8:11". To me, the governor has got it right on this one even though most people in Kaduna don't like him. Do me I do you, election will go on as expected and the winner will emerge.

Politics / Top Isis Executioner Found Beheaded With Cigarette In Mouth by NextIG(m): 7:49am On Jan 08, 2015
TOP ISIS EXECUTIONER FOUND BEHEADED WITH CIGARETTE IN MOUTH

The body of the Islamic State’s (IS) chief executioner in Syria was found with his head cut off. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the Egyptian man’s decapitated corpse was recovered near a power plant in al-Mayadeen city.

There were signs the man had been tortured before his death, and a message reading “This is evil, you Sheikh” was found on the body. In addition, a cigarette was in the mouth of the corpse’s decapitated head.

The Islamic State’s ban on cigarettes is one of the signature policies of its strict brand of Sharia law. ISIS believes that smoking cigarettes is slow suicide and that “every smoker should be aware that with every cigarette he smokes in a state of trance and vanity is disobeying God”. The militant group also bars the use of drugs and alcohol within the regions of Iraq and Syria it now controls.

The slain man was known to be the deputy emir of the eastern province of Deir al-Zor’s feared al-Hesbah (or Hisbah) force. Hisbah is the Islamic State’s religious police force that enforces the jihadist group’s extreme version of sharia in its emerging caliphate.

No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the brutal killing, but whoever committed the act sent a very strong message to the Islamic State.

Why It Matters

Though believers don’t condone any murder, or rejoice when our enemies fall, God’s Word clearly says in Galatians 6:7: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” The world’s version of this is, “What goes around, comes around.” This certainly appears evident in this incident. Christians around the world have been praying fervently for the allied coalition forces to succeed in defeating IS in Syria and Iraq to stop the torture, wholesale murder and unthinkable abuses perpetrated by these extremists against Christians and other religious minorities. At the same time, wonderful reports of tens of thousands of Muslims receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord continue to come from Christian broadcasting groups, beaming the Good News into predominantly Muslim nations.

Take Action

Continue to pray for the success and protection of the coalition soldiers fighting in Iraq and Syria, and for an end to the cruel and violent IS extremism. At the same time, lift up in prayer the persecuted Christians and other minorities and their families.

thunder74:
The priest may have a message from God but the mode of delivery was wrong. The message he delivered that day was not for Jonathan but pure campaign for his opponents, may be unconsciously. Even in the Bible, prophets go to the kings to deliver God's message directly and not through their churches or congregations.

Secondly, because in your church as a Pastor, you have people of different political affiliation, a pastor should avoid using his privileged position to campaign for his favored party bc there are others in your church who may belong to other parties or share contrary opinion since political views are different from bible interpretations. He should have acted like RCCG which did not officially make any statement against or for GEJ even when one of their own is a contestant.

But still at that, nobody should threaten him, though the threat may come from his members who are not happy with what he said especially knowing the kind of influence he has on his people.
Thunder74, I think I should sue you for peeping through my spirit man to giraffed, copied word by word what I had wanted to put down as my comment. But, I've forgiven you sha. As you've rightly said, God's message to the Kings and Rulers are always personal even though with a National effect. It is either delivered directly to the recipient by the prophet/priest himself or through an emissary which ofcourse is the prophets servant.

When king Saul failed God, Prophet Samuel delivered to him God's mind privately. Not to the people of Israel. When God wants to divide the kingdom from Belshazar, He sends the message to him through Daniel when the King and only his cabinet staffs were merrying. Also, prophet Elijah always delivered God's mind to Ahab either directly or through any of the palace staff not during a crusade. Prophet Nathan delivered God's judgement to king David personally when the latter commited adultery and murder. So also with Priest Eli, God gave him a message through Samuel privately.

Additionally, in the Bible days, the kings or rulers were governing one particular tribe and one faith-based nation. So, even if the message is given in a public it won't affect the people much because the people knew, the prophet who delivered the same message might be the one to annoint the next king.

But here in our times, the Church is a mixed palace with people of different political leanings. Any comment against a particular party or candidate will surely not be taken with ease by the members of the church belonging to that party or campaigning for that candidate. No body stops our priests from commenting on the ills bedevilling our society. But they should do so with care and wisdom so as not to be seen as campaigning for somebody. And if at all they have a message for the leadership (from God), they should deliver it either personally or through a good emissary in order not to be seeing as trying to attract public honour. Let the politicians or political parties keep attacking each other or any other pressure groups, it is good for the polity. But for the men on the Altar, I don't think it is good for them to comment public on a particular leader.

I've never read where Fr Mbaka complaint against Goodluck's leadership style since 2011. Neither concerning the insecurity, hunger, employment or corruption. Why waiting till 45 days to the next election? Is the Holy Spirit in him just awoked from sleep? Hmmm! Fr Mbaka said he tried to communicate the First lady but he could not get her. But from all reports, it was the Deputy Senate President who brought her to the adoration camp last November. Why not deliver the message through the same man (Ekweremadu).

The Bible said our God is not a God of confussion but of order. He will not say something today and a different one tomorrow on the same topic. The mistake Fr Mbaka make was to said the Holy Spirit has inspired him to give this New Year message. Then, who prompted him to give the November 2014 message to the Firstlady? You can now see how if the November 2014 and the New Year messages were delivered privately would have saved him from this present embarrasment and the so called threat to his life.

Well, if true his life is in danger, I guess he won't be the fist to experience such. Many prophets and apostle suffer the same fate. He should take a quee from prophet Elijah by escaping to an unknown place to save his life. Elijah escaped for his dear life to Beersheba out of the site of Ahab and Jezebel (I Kings 19:1-3). May be Fr Mbaka should escape to Kano or Bauchi out of the reach of his trailers.

That is why I respect Pa Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, Rev Chris Oyakhilome and few others. They don't make a public comments against a particular leader even if they have an issue against him. They prefer sending an emissary to the leader. May God save our Nation from now and beyond. #NigeriaShallTriumph

Politics / Nigerians Want To Know What A Candidate Will Do For Them. _reno Omokri by NextIG(m): 9:51am On Dec 16, 2014
@Renoomokri: Why Jonathan will win in 2015
by Reno Omokri

My dear brothers and sisters, a number of you have asked me, particularly on Social Media, why I think President Goodluck Jonathan deserves your vote. I will use this space to answer that question headlong and unequivocally, because I believe with every fiber of my being that reelecting President Jonathan is the best course of action that Nigerians can take if we do not want to go back to the old ways in which the government dictated to us rather than related to us.

Everything about the emergence of President Jonathan as the candidate of the PDP shows his party and it’s candidate as the only truly national candidate.  The National Convention in the Federal Capital Territory, which is known as the ‘Centre of Unity’ was auspicious and befitting as the PDP is the only political party that projects one united and indivisible Nigeria.

The major progress Nigeria made in the 2014 Corruption Perception Index released by Transparency International are the result of the clinical surgical incision made by President Jonathan at the root of corruption in Nigeria.

Nigerians can take pride in the PDP and its pan Nigerian credentials. The party does not have regional bases. The whole nation is its base.

The ruling has a unique ability to unite as a party that goes on to unite Nigeria as a nation.

The PDP is the largest party in Africa and under this banner, we have grown our economy to the point where it is now the largest economy in Africa proving that as the PDP grows stronger, Nigeria grows stronger.

And with all due respect, the choice between the PDP’s candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan and the opposition’s candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari is clear.

Lagosians who are today escaping Lagos traffic via the air conditioned Goodluck train must be under no illusion that this service just appeared from nowhere. No. It came about via a visionary long term plan whose ultimate goal when fully implanted will see a Lagos-Ibadan High Speed metro line that will enable people live in Ibadan and work in Lagos. The contract was signed in August 2012 for $1.5 billion  and the management of the Chinese Firm CCECC has mobilized to site.

The project itself, being part of the Interstate Rail Project, has been listed by KPMG as one of the world’s top 100 infrastructure projects!

This is a fulfilment of the idea that Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande had way back in 1982-3 but which was delayed when the military thought they had murdered that idea by cancelingthe project. But that project has been given new life today by the President Goodluck Jonathan administration because as Thomas Sankara said “you cannot kill ideas”.

Some people erroneously think that President Jonathan will not do well in the 2015 election in Katsina State, but the people of Katsina will vote for President Jonathan because he built the only Federal University in Katsina state as well as the only 6 Almajiri schools in that state. Before the ascension of the President to power, Katsina and 11 other states had no Federal Universities.!

The 2015 election is about records. The President has his record and the opposition have theirs.

The days of selling a candidate based on his ethnicity, region and religion must go forever. 2015 must be about issues, records and ideas!

I, Reno Omokri, am proud to say that President Jonathan has never publicly or privately called for violence or bloodshed.

President Jonathan’s has bequeathed a good Human Right Record to Nigeria. No political Prisoners exist in Nigeria. No one is imprisoned for their views under President Jonathan. What is the opposition’s Human Right record?

When President Jonathan took office in 2010, it used to take an average of  7-8 hours to go from Benin to Lagos. Today, after the reconstruction. (Not repair) of the Benin-Ore road, that same journey can be done in 3 hours and the President sent the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Mrs.Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to undertake the journey and verify the Estimated Travel Time on that road.

Some people say the opposition is coming to fight corruption and I ask them if they have seen the latest Corruption Perception Index released by Transparency International 2 weeks ago?

Under President Jonathan, Nigeria progressed 8 points upward in the scale proving that the President is tackling corruption headlong.

The major progress Nigeria made in the 2014 Corruption Perception Index released by Transparency International are the result of the clinical surgical incision made by President Jonathan at the root of corruption in Nigeria.

Gone are the show trials that glorify style over substance with media prosecutions that do not lead to convictions. Under Jonathan, Nigeria has had more corruption convictions than at any other time and Transparency International noticed.

Remember that the Fertilizer Procurement and Distribution sub sector of the Agricultural sector was  a veritable channel of corruption. Billions of dollars went into private pockets as middlemen inflated costs and supplied adulterated products to farmers. But under President Jonathan’s watch, 14 million farmers were registered by the Ministry of Agriculture who connected them directly to the product through an e-wallet system by which the Agriculture ministry send texts to farmers to go and pick up their fertilizer and seeds direct from their locality.

What greater anti corruption credential can you have than to weed out 50,000 ghost workers from the Federal Civil service saving Nigeria almost 350 billion Naira per annum?

As I speak to you, the Abuja-Kaduna Rail project has been completed, under budget and under the time frame for which this administration promised which is as a result of the new efficiency of the Federal Civil Service which, through the Federal Ministry of Works, had been able to supervise the contractors efficiently because no kickbacks exchanged hands.

My brothers and sisters, as I unveil my candidate to you, I am confident not only that he will win the 2015 Presidential elections based on his record, I will further call on you and other well meaning Nigerians, that If you value human life, please urge INEC to make candidates take an oath not to incite violence when they lose in 2015.

I sometimes wonder if the opposition think that President Jonathan is a time traveller. Why do I say so? When the opposition says Nigeria’s problem is Jonathan perhaps they should explain why we had problems when some of them where in power. Is it that President Jonathan travelled back into the past to create the problems they faced?

They say that President Jonathan has not achieved anything.

In that case is it that President Jonathan bribed the UN to say that Nigeria’s average Life Expectancy rose from 47 to 52 years under his administration, or he bribed the International Monetary Fund, IMF, to promote Nigeria to a Middle Income Nation in 2013 from a Low Income Nation before that? Or he bribed KPMG to list our interstate High Speed Rail project as one of the world’s top  100 infrastructure projects? Did he compromise the International Food Policy Research Institute to say that hunger has reduced in Nigeria under Jonathan from 16% to 14.1%?

I am not saying that Nigeria’s problems are all solved. How could they be? It took us 50 years to get to the point we were before President Jonathan became president in 2010. Surely it will take us more than four years to get out of the problems we faced for half a century.’

But one thing I can say is that we are making progress under President Jonathan. Elections are now free and fair and we have bade farewell to do or die elections.

People can say what they like and be assured of freedom of speech and freedom after the speech.

The era of politically motivated assassinations are gone.

Our railways have been revived, our major highways have either been revived or are in a state of being revived.

All those 12 states that did not have universities prior to Jonathan’s ascension now have universities.

In today’s Nigeria, you cannot name a state in Nigeria where Jonathan has not built either a brand new university, a secondary school, a hospital or a new road!

President Jonathan knows that a mind is a terrible thing to waste thus Jonathan built 150 schools for Almajiri. And then some say that he has only scratched the surface. My response to them is that if previous administrations had likewise scratched the surface, we won’t have 12 million children out of the formal education system in Nigeria!

President Jonathan is building schools in every state because if disadvantaged kids had schools in the 80s they would not have grown up into adults that believe that books are haram!

Those regions that did not have international airports before Jonathan now have.

Today, Hyundai, Kia and Nissan have opened up vehicle manufacturing/assembly plants in Nigeria even as the government, most especially the Presidency, is patronizing Innoson cars as official cars.

Nigerians want stability in their leader. You won’t marry a person who jumps from relationship to relationship, so why support a Presidential aspirant who jumps from party to party?

From 1999 till today, President Goodluck Jonathan has remained in one party come rain come shine. Who in the opposition can make such a claim?

Nigerians want to know what a candidate will do for them. They do not want to listen to candidates bicker like motor park touts. Even those that do not support the President or the PDP have at least heard of the Transformation Agenda. Have you heard of the opposition’s agenda?

As elections approach, expect more panic attacks from a party that spent its time insulting and criticizing the President instead of selling its ideas to Nigerians.

They say that they will form a parallel government if they lose in 2015. Under Jonathan, elections held in Edo, Anambra, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun. Which of them were rigged? Why is APC rejecting 2015 elections in 2014?

My brother and sisters, never allow those who swore that they were determined to make some parts of Nigeria “ungovernable” shake you and turn your focus from the verifiable progress Nigeria is making under PresidentGoodluck Jonathan. I can assure that just as he said when he declared his interest to contest the 2015 Presidential elections, under President Jonathan’s leadership, Nigeria “will never go back to the old ways”!
Politics / Godwin Alabi-isama Blast Obasanjo by NextIG(m): 3:28pm On Dec 15, 2014
BY GODWIN ALABI-ISAMA DEC 15, 2014

I’m gravely pained to be trading words with General Olusegun Obasanjo once again on the history of Nigeria-Biafra War. He is an elder and a former ruler who, ordinarily, should be treated with utmost respect.

But how can one genuinely respect an old man who tells lies like a badly raised child? Obasanjo has obviously not recovered from the shock inflicted on him by my book, The Tragedy of Victory in which I exposed the tissues of lies in his civil war memoir, My Command. It is said that a lie may travel for a thousand miles, but it takes just one step of truth to catch up with it.

Godwin Alabi-Isama

I’m alive to stand up to him on the lies he has told on the war because I was a major participant in it.  I kept records.  With facts and figures at my finger tips, I have debunked Obasanjo’s lies in part three of my book, consisting of one hundred and sixty five pages,
sixty nine pictures, thirteen military strategies and tactics, maps and documents.  This was the same Obasanjo who published a fake Federal Government gazette that I was found guilty by the Army when I was never tried.  I have proved that Obasanjo was an incompetent commander. I have proved that he was a wily and cunning fellow, and an incredible opportunist who reaped where he did not sow.

I have proved that he was an ingrate and a hypocrite. More importantly, I have proved that he was a coward, who ran away from the war front to go and look for phantom ammunition.  Rather than respond to my claims the way a gallant officer should, he has now responded
like a motor-park tout, impugning my person and questioning my ethnic lineage. I never said I was from Ibadan. I only schooled there.

General Obasanjo, this  bolekaja style is so demeaning.  You live in a glass house, so stop throwing stones. We, who have facts, pictures and documents, meticulously kept over the years, can tell the whole world one or two things about you.

Have a look at this attached picture at your wedding to your first wife Remi. When the photographer wanted to take the picture of the bride and groom and their parents, you said a few things about your parents which I still remember.  It was only Remi’s mother that took the picture with us. Please, don’t mess with the memory of my dear parents. You know my mother, an Ilorin woman, and you also saw her at the war front. She told me who my father was and she spoke his language, and took me to his home town when he died. I went to primary school in Owu,  so I know your family very well.  You should be honest enough to tell the world the story of the man who was your father.  I told you and wrote in my book that any person who does not appreciate the efforts of women has had no good mother. Please, don’t go beyond military tactics and strategies when dealing with me.

You say in volume three of your book My Watch that I could be in bed with a woman while radioing my commander that I was in pursuit of rebels. Hundreds of thousands of those who have read my book The Tragedy of Victory——a six hundred and seventy-page book, complete with four hundred and fifty pictures and thirty nine military strategies and tactics, maps and documents—- will call you a liar. I am so surprised and even embarrassed that a man of your status is still trading in gutter rumours. An elder with a filthy mind, a leader who lacks wisdom of age, does not deserve any respect.

I’m the same Godwin  Alabi-Isama that commanded the troops that liberated today’s Cross River State in thirty days of battle from Calabar to Obubra with no single casualty.  This is the same Alabi-Isama that advanced 480 kilometres in 30 days from Calabar to Port Harcourt, liberating today’s Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa States with 35,000 men and women with 15000 on logistics, building roads and pontoons, with 8 men and 2 officers as my casualties. Obasanjo ordered the attack of Ohoba, a mere 24 miles from Owerri, in one hour of battle, more than 1000 Nigerian soldiers were dead.

Obasanjo claims that when I once played squash with him, I cheated.

This incredible liar has forgotten that there were witnesses to that game. Those witnesses are still alive, and they remember what really happened.  I played squash with him once in my life. He could not make a point because I was not one of his sycophants who would allow him to win a game just to massage his huge ego.  Look, General Obasanjo, there was no way you could have beaten me in any game. You do not have the physique and agility to do that. Apart from being a popular sports
man and soccer captain in Ibadan Boys High School,  I was Sports Officer in the Nigerian Army, playing games from soccer to tennis, athletics etc. You never played any games at school let alone in the
Army. If you had been diligent at your physical exercises as we were taught to be, your protruding tummy would not have become a butt of joke to many officers and men of the Army.

General Obasanjo may try but he cannot deny the evidence of the civil war tragic history. While he got over a thousand soldiers killed at Ohoba, myself,  Alani Akinrinade,  and the brilliant and hardworking Pincer Team of Ola Oni, Iluyomade, Isemede, S.S. Tomoye, Salawu, Okwarobo, Sunny Tuoyo, etc.  did a better job at the Third Marine Commando.  I have stated how it was done in The Tragedy of Victory, by writing to set the Civil War records straight.  Obasanjo says I only wanted to make money that was why I wrote my book, after all I was broke. I thank Obasanjo for unwittingly giving credit that I did not steal money in the Army. I believe that this country Nigeria ought to know by now all the crooks parading themselves as saints.  Now I know why Obasanjo was surprised at my financial successes abroad, and then sent his wife Stella of blessed memory to  me. She was my guest in Houston Texas for a week. We have video and pictures of the visit with witnesses like Jack Gonsoulin, Rod Anthony, and Tom Britton.

I challenge Obasanjo to a debate on military tactics and strategies on the Nigerian Civil War. He wrote about his team. Who were they? George Innih went the wrong way to Arochukwu when Akinrinade needed reinforcement for the final battle to capture Uli Ihiala airport.

Akinrinade told him that he would shoot George Innih anytime he showed up. Where was Obasanjo’s  fake Apollo Battalion that operated behind enemy lines, when he could not capture Ohoba?  When Akinrinade called
him that Biafra troops had surrendered to him and the Pincer team, Obasanjo, who was coming from a party, got lost looking for them, as he did not know where to go and did not know the way to Amichi.

I am not qualified to comment on Obasanjo’s  political achievements, if any, for this country. The people and posterity will do that. There is no president in this country that he has not condemned.  Haba!  He always thinks that he has the preserve of knowledge on how to rule this country. Did the country move forward when he was Head of State or President? He destroyed the heart of the national security. We can see the result today. He destroyed education in many ways. We see the result today.  He destroyed a lot of other things.  As for how he has treated his family shabbily, his wife and children have openly made their comments. Those comments are in public domain today and forever, even though Obasanjo cleverly brushes them aside in his current book.

I implore Obasanjo to stop lying before he dies.

THEY DID NOT COOPERATE AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE "COS THEY HAD PLANNED FOR BOKOHARAM.... THEY PLANNED FOR BOKOHARAM WITHOUT THE APPROVAL AND AUTHORISATION OF ALLAH, GOD. You can say that again and again. In everything and at everywhere, it is either their voice or none else.

It is no longer news that the monster created by the few Selfish, Hate-filled, Religious Bigots and Power Drunken Northern elements has now turn on its venom on its owner. They saw the time when Mohammed Yusuf (Late BH founder) was busy recruiting their children in the name of Madarassa (Islamic school). They have heard and knew the type of hate-filled teachings Mohammed Yusuf was busy inculcating in their children. They refused to enlightened and allowed the children of the poor amongs them to acquire western education. All these, because they knew One Day they will use these children for their selfish advantage. In 2009 when this innocent but highly quaranically brainwashed kids metamophose into jihadist army and confronted the security agents, destroying lives and properties; the same Northern Elements were quite. The jihadist went on to kill anything that believes or bears the sign of the CROSS. Still, they were quite. They were thinking in their dellusional mind that at any time they cry "HEY!", the same army of the cresent and promoters of the moon symbol will listen to them. Alas! They never knew the snake has grown TWO HEADS. Now that they are busy mildly condenming the works of their hands, the MONSTER has turned its anger on them. The words of Pastor Martin Niemoller is coming to pass: "First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

May God comfort and console those that lost their loved ones since the beginning of this Boko Haram carnage. Amen!

Politics / Omoyele Sowore (SaharaReporters) Was Arrested For Rape - Mike Okiro by NextIG(m): 7:56am On Nov 27, 2014
Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters online news portal may have landed pat in the centre of a rape scandal.

Though the alleged act is believed to have been dug up from the writer’s past but the players and circumstances of the alleged crime are such that cannot easily be brushed off.

Former Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro recently in a forum, made a pronouncement that Omoyele Sowore of the Sahara Reporters was once arrested for rape.

The statement made by the former police chief has since become a subject of discussion and controversy and merely heard in small talks among a section of the news media.

Okiro alleged that Omoyele Sowore had raped a UNILAG female student who’s now married with two kids. “I arrested him when I was Surulere Area Commander of the Nigeria Police. I prosecuted him and he jumped bail”, said Mike Okiro, former Inspector General of Nigeria Police?

Okiro actually gave a graphical detail of the crime, the circumstances and the state of the victim at the time.

Brick bats have been flung back and forth over this revelation. As the controversy rages, some have hinted that Okiro’s revelation was belated and smacks of corruption, others allege that Okiro must have been privy to Sowore’s bail-jumping stunt, while yet another segment insist that politics or not, a criminal must face justice no matter how long ago the crime was committed.

So far, Sowore has neither affirmed Okiro’s pronouncement nor denied it, thus making further speculations and controversies, rife.

Politics / Political Associate Of Chadian President Arrested With Missiles Mean for boko ha by NextIG(m): 5:15pm On Nov 22, 2014
A Cameroonian investigative journalist, Bisong Etahoben, is reporting via twitter the arrest of Mahamat Bichara Gnoti, a close associate of Chadian President IIdriss Déby Itno.

Mr. Gnoti was reportedly arrested on the Chadian-Sudan border with 19 SAM2 missiles he purchased from the Sudanese army meant for Boko Haram terrorist in northeastern Nigeria.

Mr. Gnoti who claimed that President Idriss Déby gave him the funds to purchase the weapons, had waved a presidential pass issued to him by Mr. Deby’s office in order to get past border guards but was stopped and searched by the guards who found the deadly weapons on him.

There has not been an official confirmation or denial either by the Chadian or the Nigerian authorities. A text message sent to the office of Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), the National Security Adviser in Nigeria regarding Gnoti’s arrest did not receive a response, an aide said Mr. Dasuki is traveling in Mexico.

However, the arrest of Mr. Gnoti, if confirmed,  will provide solid evidence that the Chadian President is largely behind Boko Haram lightning insurgency in Nigeria’s northeast.

I've been asked by many people to confirm whether the statement credited to "the Australian negotiator which implicates some two persons over the sponsorship of BH is true or false;the truth is I don't know; What I know little is that (1)it's very impossible for genuine BH top rank to disclose to any negotiator their source of funding;(2) Any negotiator who deviates from his acclaimed role of a broker and tried to seek information about their source of funding, they will likely treat him as a Spy. (3)How logical is it for the group to be sponsored by persons they consistently despised and targeted? (4) the Government has denied any link with the mediator and I believe the Group will make their statement On the issue.

I agree with you @Zkososo. Where someone draws inspiration matters a lot to his making or marring in this life. If ones inspiration comes from the God that creates the universe and its fullness, then, I don't think such an individual will even dare to step on an ant much more sniffing life out of a human being and be happy and boasting. We pray that their eyes of understanding will be enlightened so that they will all come to the true saving knowledge.

@TellBlazer, to my view, it has to do with the FOUNDATION. The foundation of every building determines its strength, height and durability. Based on history and reports (me I've never read their holy book) I understand that the spread of Islam by its founder was through war, the use of sword. And since the founder left the scene, none of his followers has tried to discourage such practice. It has been like that for centuries. That's why the shedding of blood is running deep in that organization.

An arab Israeli with a message for the world

DIRECT FROM THE FACEBOOK PAGE OF MOHAMMAD ZOABI:

As an Israeli Muslim Arab, I was subjugated to brainwashing against the Jews while i was growing up. I was taught that we should hate them because they took our land, and that no Jewish person should be
living here. I was told by a few of my own family members that the Jews were planning to throw us into the sea and until that happened I would be suffering in Israel because I was an Arab.

I decided to explore the situation on my own, I went out and started meeting new people, I met a lot of Jews… What struck me at first is that they didn’t hate me like I was taught to hate them, but rather I felt care, respect, love, and a want to co-exist.
I began to realize how lucky I was to be born in Israel, to live in a free, democratic, and first world country with lots of opportunities.

Its not easy to be an Israeli Arab Zionist in an Arab Society. I was attacked physically several times, and insulted a lot.
But with the support of my amazing mother and my friends in the only country in the entire Middle East where freedom of speech is allowed, I will continue to speak out for what is right. I know that there are other many other Israeli Arabs that feel the same because almost 90% of us said that they would rather remain an Israeli than become a Palestinian citizen, but they are afraid of being hurt. That is why I am asking the world to please listen and protect the truth about Israel.
The world needs to wake up.

I see myself as a lucky Arab for being born in Israel.
I am lucky to be born in a democratic country like Israel.
I have an opportunity to live as an equal human being who lives in the 21st century.
Though, anti Israel still accuse Israel for being an aparthiehd state, ignoring the true apartheid of the Arab world’s views against the Jews and Zionists like myself of Israel. All these talks of peace will only come true when the Arabs will stop educating their children to dream about killing and eliminating the Jews.
Peace will be achieved only when the arabs will start loving their children more than they hate us.
World wake up. Shame on you for being anti hope, democracy, and freedom in the middle east. Shame on you, to be anti Israel.

Am Yisrael chai
