Good morning all, Who can teach Python here? What's the cost and duration? I'm told a good knowledge of Python will help one good as a data scientist. I can be reached on lateeph@gmail.com. We can move the discussion from my email. I won't mind important learning resources too or link to learn too. I will appreciate prompt response. Thank you. |

chloe7: Thank you sis. Saw the document and it will really help. Our purpose of visit now is strictly on childbirth, when VO ask why are we going to US, do i answer or just allow my wife answer the Q? I'm sure she will be equipped and ready after going through all pages of childbirth on NL. |

nikkyshyne: Thank you for your contribution nikkyshyne. I'm not sure you know my brother's status in the US before you responded to my post. Please note that he didn't enter US with Tourist Visa, him and his wife left Nigeria 9 years ago as Immigrant and now a US citizen. The VO has the right to think whatever he likes but the truth is no work in US can earn me what i'm making in Nigeria monthly without US education. I haven't been there but i have got couple of folks there (my blood brother inclusive). Visiting is just for temporary stay of Max of 2 weeks. Thank you. |

Nicesoul: Morning all, Interview took place today in Abuja and the outcome was negative. See below the script VO: Good morning US: Morning VO: Why are you going to US ME: My bro live and work in Maryland and he has been away for 9 years. Since his left the country, i have been married and have a child. He has not met my family and i believe this is an opportunity for his family to meet mine. Also, my wife is going to have a baby in the US. VO: What do you do? ME: I work as IT/Technical Support for XYZ company VO: Why has your bro not visited you in Nigeria. ME: It's difficult for him to travel because he has two jobs and also in University. VO: To my wife; what do you do ma? MyWife: I'm a stylist with interest in beads making. I also sell human hair. VO: What will you do when you get to US? MyWife: I'm going to have a baby and family visit. VO: Why US? Why not go to somewhere else where child birth is cheaper? MyWife/ME: My wife didn't give a satisfactory response to i cut in: Me: We chose US because we want quality child care. Also, the last time our family doctor visited Nigeria, he assessed my wife and advised she visit US and have her baby. VO: Why cant the doctor come to Nigeria and treat your wife? ME: He comes to Nigeria once in every year. We visited him during his visit. Also, he's based in US and a senior doctor in his hospital. VO: Types continuously and the decision came. He didn't ask about travel history, how much i earn, job description & etc. Next plan: I was thinking of reapplying immediately. Can we reapply as a family again or my wife alone should just go considering her health position? Left to me alone, i don't think i want to reapply again anytime soon. Your sincere advise will be highly appreciated. Regards 1 Like |

seyewest: Oga Seyewest, Thanks a lot for your time and support. I actually did that last night and everything is fine now. Although i call their phone number, a lady i spoke with told me it usually takes 24 - 48 hrs before profile is updated. I and my wife prayed and hope it will be corrected tomorrow morning at least. We are surprised updated profile notification came few hours after 11 am. Thank you once again, your response was quite helpful. |

Nicesoul: I'm in the process of doing that now. Another quick question. My wife travel date is not the same with mine because she's going for medical and will spend more weeks. I plan to travel my daughter later in the year while my wife departure date is in July. The questions are: On wife DS160, can she indicate that she's travelling with companion? If yes, can this be applied to daughter's DS 160 to? Thank you for your time and support. Regards |

seyewest: Thank you for your prompt response seyewest. I actually sent them an email last night and they replied this morning. See the response below: Thank you for writing U.S. Visa Service Desk. The Embassy or Consulate you select at the beginning of the Form DS-160 must be the same Embassy or Consulate where you schedule your interview appointment. Kindly note that we don't have access to your DS 160 and you will not be able to retrieve and modify information in the DS-160 application once it is completed. If you wish to correct and/or update information, please disregard the old DS-160 application and create a new application, then bring the new DS-160 confirmation page at the time of interview. You can access the DS-160 form in the website https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ Please make sure that the DS-160 barcode number in your profile on www.ustraveldocs.com matches with the barcode number on your DS-160 documents. The Consulate will not permit you to enter or be interviewed at the Embassy if your DS-160 confirmation number is different on what you have in your appointment cofirmation letter. You will be responsible for rescheduling your appointment on another day if they do not match. PLEASE NOTE: You are to fill out your DS-160 form correctly before scheduling an appointment. You will only be allowed to attend your interview with the passport bearing the number entered in your DS-160 confirmation form, if your name exactly matches the name in your passport, and with a DS160 confirmation printout that matches the DS160 application (CEAC) receipt number you used when scheduling the appointment. |

seyewest: Thank you for your response seyewest. I believe each DS160 have a unique barcode. I have printed appointment confirmation with the old DS 160 confirmation barcode. The real problem is matching the new barcode on DS160 confirmation page with appointment confirmation page. |

Hello All, I want to bring the challenges i'm presently facing with my completed DS-160 form. We filled the form with intent to appear for interview in Lagos. Unfortunately, work took me to Abuja and i will be there for the next few months. Our family interview date is Monday 25th, 2016. I was able to get a date for interview in Abuja. The challenges are: My wife and my daughter's DS-160 confirmation reads location selected: LGS, U.S Consulate General Lagos. While mine is Abuja because i was able to change mine before i submitted. My wife forgot to change her location before she submitted her application. What i want to know is: Can we still use this same DS-160 confirmation page in Abuja while location selected on the page is Lagos? Please note that interview location is Abuja as stated on the confirmation of appointment page. If i cant use this DS-160 confirmation page, please advise what i need to do to resolve this issue. Please note that interview date is Monday 25th of April, 2016. Counting your sincere advise. |
