Art, Graphics & Video / Nigerian Graphic Designer Trending On Twitter For Proposing New Whatsapp Look by Nicey20(m): 8:28am On Oct 22, 2019
A 20-year old Nigerian graphic designer, Joshua Okoro, is trending on twitter for proposing a new look for the Whatsapp Messaging App.

The Kano state born freelancer did a dark mode design for the WhatsApp app adding some features too that could less user journey and improve Users Experience using AdobeXD.

His new tweaks when accepted are expected to increase user engagement while letting the user choose whose status they want to view by clicking on the profile button rather than slide to the status session and having transitions.

When asked what motivated him towards engaging in the task, he said he just wants to shoot his shot. He believes his shot will get noticed by the online messaging giant.

While it is not quite clear whether Whatsapp will adopt the proposal, the online community has showered Joshua with praises suggesting that many do wish that the changes be integrated into the popular messaging platfor.

Business / Top Seven Car Manufacturing Companies In Africa - Innoson Named The Largest by Nicey20(m): 10:58am On Oct 21, 2019
Though widely unsung, Africa’s fast rising local car manufacturers are giving their counterparts in the developed world a run for their money.

“With a rapidly-growing population, an overall growing economy and relatively few vehicles per residents, Africa may be the next hot auto market” says Craig Guillot, a business writer based in New Orleans, United States.

With a projected doubling of the population to 2.5 billion people by the year 2050, demand for vehicles is expected to rise.

While Africa isn’t known as a prime location for the auto industry, it has been manufacturing cars, light trucks and commercial vehicles since the 1920s, Hightower says. As investments on the continent have been limited, most efforts have focused on assembly of imported vehicle parts rather than the full design and manufacturing.

Apart from assembly lines of popular brands like Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen and PSA, etc., Africa can now pride itself of cars made of local design and manufactured to a large extent in Africa. There is a rising demand for made in Africa cars across the continent.

Here is a list of Africa’s leading seven local auto manufacturers:

1. Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited, Nigeria

Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing is a Nigerian automobile and bus manufacturing company located in Africa’s leading industrial city ofNnewi, Anambra state. It launched the first wholly made-in-Nigeria car in 2014 – the IVM 6490 A. Founded by Nigerian businessman Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, the domestic vehicle maker Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company has built on its success of manufacturing buses and trucks to launch a passenger car line comprised of a truck (IVM 1021A) and a Sports Utility Vehicle (IVM 6490A). As at 2016, 70% of the car parts are produced locally while the rest is being imported from Japan, China and Germany. The Innoson IVM is armed with state-of-the-art materials and sophisticated design. At first glance, you would never imagine that this is a car that is entirely made by Nigerian even in terms of technology and science. With over 11,000 units produced in its plant, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company is Africa’s largest single local automobile manufacturing company in terms of production capacity, output and variety.

MESSAGE TITLE: PROOFS OF AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE WORD (1 Thess. 5:21)
EVENT: SHILOH 2017
EVENT TITLE: A NEW DAWN
CATEGORY: MORNING SESSION (MESSAGE 4)
DATE: WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 06,2017.
MINISTERING: BISHOP DR. DAVID O. OYEDEPO

INTRODUCTION
An encounter is God speaking behind the scriptures to you on any subject matter of interest to you - Heb. 1:3,13; Mark 11:23 .

THE SEVEN PROOFS OF A WORD ENCOUNTER ARE:
1) Every Word encounter Stirs up Supernatural Faith - Gen. 12:3; Rom. 4:20
2) Supernatural Boldness - Acts 4:20; Matt. 16:28; Matt. 16:18; acts 14:3
3) Supernatural Joy - Jer. 15:16; Ps. 119:162; Prov. 17:22; Prov. 18:14; Prov. 4:22
4) Supernatural Strength - Judges. 6:14
5) Word encounter stirs up Supernatural Peace - Phil. 4:7.
This kind of peace passes all understanding - 2 Peter 1:2; John 14:27; Luke 10:42. One thing indeed is needful and that thing is a word encounter - Luke 11:49
6) Word encounter engenders Supernatural wisdom - Ps. 119:97-99; 2 Tim. 3:15; Proverbs 13:20; Jude 1:25; Ps. 19:7. It is God's word that makes wise - Matt 13:54; Ps. 104:24; God's wisdom is displayed in its mighty works and not in mighty words and big grammar.

7)Supernatural Health - James 5:14; Prov. 4::20-22; Matt 8:17. there is a health insurance in Christ - Is. 53:4.

Conclusion:
Until you see these things, they do not become a reality in your life. It is the word you see(or have beheld) that is called a word encounter - Is. 2:1; Gen. 13:15; Rev. 3:18; Ps. 119:18.

Shiloh 2017 Opening Session Message transcription
Titled: Unlocking My New Dawn Heritage in Christ
By: Bishop Dr. David O. Oyedepo
Introduction:
New things are the things that make news - Is. 28:21-22; Is 8:18.
A new dawn is a place in Christ where one continues to experience change of stories, from strength to strength - 2 Cor. 3:18; Prov.4:18; 1 C or. 2:9; Ps. 65:11; Rev.22:1-3.
From Shiloh 2017, The following shall be your portion in Christ:
- There shall be no more empty month in your Life - Ps. 68:19; Ps. 23:6;Lamentation 3:23.
- Your life shall never be at the same spot again.
- Everyday will become a Christmas for you - Ps. 23:6.
- The days of your Morning and weeping are over
- The days of uncertainty are over.

It is, however, not enough to be saved. One must remain in the faith - Phil. 2:22. when we settle with God, He settles us. We must maintain continuity to endear ourselves to God.

We are empowered to become whatever we can lay hold on from the scriptures - Heb. 1:2-3

How Do I Position Myself for an Encounter with the Word at Shiloh 2017?
1) Be Born Again - Mark. 4:11; 2 Cor. 5:17

2) Be Desperate for an Encounter - Luke. 19:1-10
You should aspire that you must return with your 'New Dawn' encounter in Shiloh 2017(See, Is. 9:cool.

3)) Be in the Spirit - Rev. 1:10; 2 Kings 2:10.

4)Maintain A Quite Spirit - 1 KINGS. 19:11-13. God speaks in a gentle and still voice that only people in a quite spirit can catch it - 1 Peter. 3:4. Therefore, during the course of Shiloh 2017, discipline your telephone and communications to catch up with God's word for you per time.

5)Be Joyful (Maintain A Joyful Heart) - Is. 12:3;Phil. 4:4; 1 Thess. 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:7-10; John 6:6; Luke 10:21. It takes joy to draw water from the wells of salvation. It takes joy to encounter the WORD.
The end indeed has come to your troubles.

6) Walk in the Fear of the Lord - Ps. 25:14, Job 29:4/11-13; Job 1:3; Gen. 42:18

DECLARATIONS:
- The end has come to your struggles. Jesus finished our struggles on the cross when He said, "It is Finished". - John. 19:30; 2 Peter. 1:3; Is. 53:4,; 1 Peter 2:24; John 10:10 (See, Romans 3:4).
- You have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His dear Son , Jesus Christ - Col. 1:13. If then you are in the Kingdom of His Dear Son Jesus Christ, the kingdom of darkness and its cohorts have no more legal access to and over you. You are placed in the Heavenly realm, far above the domains of the evil ones.

- This is the dawn of a new day for you. The entrance of God's word gives light not the reading or mere knowledge of the word. "Since 1979, I have never suffered a sleepless night.".
- In Shiloh 2017, we are being baptised into our new dawn. Therefore, new things from heaven will never cease again - Is. 54:4; Acts 10:38.
- There is no power of the devil anywhere. The devil, called satan, in the new testament is a deceiver and a manipulator. All thanks be to God, howbeit, we sits far above his domain, far above the domains of the wicked. They no longer have power over us. For Jesus has the keys of death and hell - Rev. 1:18. The devil has no access to the keys anymore. He has been defeated. If then it is Jesus that is holding the keys, He is holding it in your favour - Heb. 2:14-15; John 14:19.

Jobs/Vacancies / A Proposal, Not An Application: Being Entrepreneurial In Your Job Search! by Nicey20(m): 10:55pm On May 17, 2017
Businesses exist to solve problems. In doing this, they must find an efficient way to conserve resources while meeting the needs of their numerous customers.
I hear many say there are no jobs. The fact however is that in the midst of no jobs, there are multitudes of vacuum in every firm that needs to be filled but few suitable hands to handle them. Sometimes, even the firms are unaware that there exist a vacuum(vacancy) that they need to fill until it is brought to their notice. Are you surprised?
Hmmmm...Yea, it happens.
Most times it takes a external view to see these vacancies and work towards filling them. An external supervisor/advisor (who has observed the customers' feedback and the firm's operation methods) will be in the best position to see these vacancies and prompt the firm to fill them to improve efficiency.
Building a vibrant team is one of those key factors to business success. No one employs you because you read in Harvard or had a Masters (though this will go a long way to enhance your chances), they get you into their team because you have the same vision as they do, their kind of goal-meeting spirit or can proffer viable solutions to their business-days' hurdles.
Want to work in that company? Search out all they are all about, identify their goals, sales target, daily hurdles and how you think you can add to their business growth. That's the good step. It is called the proposal method of seeking for a job.
This method entails that you position yourself as an entrepreneur offering your services to the company for a monthly pay. This way you keep your entrepreneurial motivation on.
Remember, If you do not have anything to add to a firm, do not bother looking for a vacancy in there.
My suggestion - DO YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC FIRM YOU WANT TO WORK IN? Search them out on the net, identify and follow them to understand how they operate. Also get a list of their management board, check out their qualifications, search them out also on the net, follow them individually to learn how they think, find a missing link about their products, customers' complaints and build up yourself to fill the gap.
Afterwards, sign in for the next application and see how marvelous you will perform. The board on seeing and hearing you will be like, "It like you had worked here before, welcome back on board."
OH YES!....Build yourself to represent the company you wish to work for by training yourself like an entrepreneur about to be called up to submit a proposal on how to better the lot of the firm.
NOTES
I) You can't be in a team if you do not have the same vision as they do, no matter your qualifications.
II) You can see yourself as an entrepreneur at your working place using your skills to provide solutions to the firm's daily needs.
III) Following a firm you want To work in on the net daily gives you a semi-insider kind of view and also allows you to view customers' feedback thereby enabling you to discover a niche you can fit in best in the company sphere.
IV} See your pay as an entrepreneurial rent and work towards earning bigger by acquiring more skills needed to engage in the firm's daily businesses.
V) Train yourself to become a consultant in whatever you do.
VI) When next they call for a job application, send in a CV-LIKE proposal (showing how you can through the qualifications you have acquired over help the firm achieve its ultimate goals) instead.

Remember, you can also approach any firm with a proposal once you identify that there is something they not doing well on and you have a viable solution to make them more efficient (You do not need a job opening advert before you can reach out to the firm). But be sure to keep the best part of the deal to yourself until they call you in for a round table discussion.
