na so o. I dont think we are ready to challenge for the title just yet. We still need a world class goalkeeper, one or two class additions at center back, one right winger (pls not Quaresma), a back up left winger and we should be set.

I do think le Professor should have taken Anelka back, that man can score!!

Anelka? nah, Wenger loves his dressing room unity more than anything else. With Anelka's previous antics, he would just be disruptive

once Djourou comes back in January and Gallas is fit, our CB position is tight. I don't think we really need any wingers right now, the boys we have are performing well and can step up their game if needed. What we need is a Rosicky that is fit more often, and Walcott to show what he'd made of.

Buying more players will not necessarily solve any problems we have, we need to focus on getting the best out of the current crop we have.

My concern is for the frequent injuries to Hleb, Rossicky and Gallas. If we can get those three playing regularly and repalce Flamini with Diarra, we should be set for a good run at the top. I fancy Man U nicking the title this yr but we wont be finishing anywhere below second if we keep this up.

Anelka actually doesn't disrupt the dressing room. He simply lets his tongue hang out.

Hleb has no pace, although he makes up for it with a lot of smarts.

I dont know y you dont like Quaresma. He commands attention and imagine what the
other players on the team would do with the space he would make.

Quaresma is just another "star" coming to disrupt the team rhythm. We dont need him, Man U specialise in buying Europe's best dribblers so they can have him.

Well me I think relying wholly on a team game will come unstuck on some occasions.

Sometimes u need a reliable gamebreaker. Someone that can conjure up something out of nothing

We don't need excuses mate, this result will have given Arsene a boost, so even if we have an injury or something in that period, we will still have the full compliment of our strikers at the club to choose from.

The only person I'm a little sorry for is Bendtner, he might find it even more difficult to get playing time if Adebayor continues to be on form.

BTW the Germans got trapped by the infamous Russian Winter, and with Lehmann seemingly on his way out and a Belorussian (former USSR) playing for us, we should handle that pretty nicely

I doubt if Adebayo is playing second fiddle to anyone right now in the present team so I dont see Bendtner as suffering as a result of Ade's cool form,

the way things are I even feel Ade is prolly our 1st striker in AW's books and he does truly deserve to be, considering his work rate _{*which is not RVP's strongest point*} and his sublime skills being considered . . .

I meant If Ade went away in January for the ACN, then AW would have to resort to starting RVP and Dudu, with Bendtner at least making the bench. But with those three strikers ahead of him. he's finding it difficult to make it even to the bench at present. Only the CC and maybe FA cup games are available to him, and due to his hungry nature, he'll not be satisfied with that.

I'm thinking Ade is #1 too, though RVP is obviously the most gifted of the lot, but as time goes on, Dudu may gain more prominence. AW is just giving him time to settle fully and perform without being under pressure, and thankfully the other strikers' form has helped.

As at now I don't think there is any major player on injury list Gallas, Rosicky, Eduardo,lehman are all on national assignment this weekend. It could only get better for ARSENAL this season.Who says we go for quadruple. GOONERS FOR LIFE

And what is new? We all know Cesc is a Catalan, and Barca is where he started, but I'm sure there were many talented teenagers at his time in the youth team, not all of them have gone on to become linchpins at their clubs. A great deal of what he is today is due to being blooded into the first team at 16, and learning from the best like Vieira, Edu, Bergkamp and Henry.

The agent obviously just wants more money for himself, any transfer fee will get him a huge load of cash too, plus a seat at the Nou Camp.

Cesc will return to Spain at some point in his career - that is inevitable, But I believe he will win trophies with us and by the time he leaves, we'll still make a huge transfer fee from his sale. signing a 9 year deal is no joke, Wenger has foreseen this happening, and this is no more that idle talk by his agent.

I first thought we were goin to continue where we left off for the past two seasons because of the exit of Henry but check out what is goin on now. Even Gilberto is find it difficult to find a place. I know no playa can hold the team into ranson for now. Im not saying the guy is not great but im sure he's not indispensable.

Cesc is nt indispensable,but if he lives d emirates in d middle of d season without given wenger an opportunity to ease a replacement into d team then his exit might leave a big hole. Personally I do not see Barca spending big bucks to go for Fabregas.

They are adequately covered in that area with Deco, Iniesta, Xavi and Yaya Toure.
Marquez can also play central midfield if the need arises.

And besides Barca seem to produce these sort of 'possession' midfielders at will from
their Academy.

It just doesn't make any sense spending big bucks to get him.

Only sentimental value cause he is Catalan.
