Everything you said in bold, deserves a thumbs up x ten!!!! but the last line, a no no. Some men are cunning and coniving. They prey on women who are naive and dependent. Many of these women are run-aways or have children so making it out of their grasp when they show their true sides is NEVER easy. Even IF a woman were to "stick by her man" when being beaten, there is NO excuse! There is NEVER a reason to lay hands on ANYONE if they do not touch you, NEVER. Worst of all is they cannot fight your or have any intentions to. i agree that any man who lays his hand on a woman is a scum, agreed! But some women thrive in dram filled relationships. I have a friend who keeps going back to the same guy who beats her over and over and over again. As johndoe said, in parts of this country wife beating is legal. You need to take our sensitivities into consideration and tone down the volume.
