For some minutes I sat down to ponder why we fail at many sport competitions around the world. Even football and tracks that happen to be Nigeria's "natural sports," we still suck at it!

Transparency International just released their Corruption Perception Index(CPI) for the year 2009. Out of the 180 countries surveyed, Nigeria ranked 121. In other words, some 59 countries are more corrupt than Nigeria. Denmark came out on top, and the United States ranked 18,  The last? The land of the pirates; Somalia.
