Pls gurus in the house help me ooo....I have been following this wonderful discussion... I live and work in UAE and my basic salary is 1250 AED and I am in Nigeria currently on vacation but wish to visit UK before finally returning to my work in Dubai...I will be getting the sum of #200k from my father for sponsorship.... In my savings account I have 1.7m naira and in my salary account I have 1000 AED... I am budgeting about 860GBP for the trip.... I need your advice pls.
I’m responding to this basically because I’m a uae resident myself. First off, you have better chances applying here in uae where refusal rate is relatively low but only if your salary is 3,500 above but in ur case I doubt you stand 25% chances of getting the visa with your profile. AED 1250 is very small to even think of vacation and 90% of time people on this salary are trying to relocate and willing to risk overstaying I assume that’s your plan aswell, Ps: Don’t do it. Also, there’s no reasonable way to work around 1250, let’s say you spend AED 0 monthly and your disposable income is the whole 1250 you’ll still spend 3 times your salary to arrive at any reasonable figure enough to spend on your trip.

None! But dubai is still manageable for females. Egypt is a no no. Salary and workers welfare are both poor

You sound experienced in UAE, please tell me the truth, can Nigerians get professional jobs there? minimum monthly salary of 5000 dirham, will it be an advantage for a Nigerian if he is fluent in Arabic?
100% possible.

I went to UAE 1st of January this year and I didn't get my Emirate id upon all the whole money I paid to the agent that the should look for good job for me.

I don't have much to write if you think you like the country enter and see, taste and confirm by yourself.

I can't give advice that I know that some peole reading this article have already booked their flight to UAE.

Congrat shocked
You pay your fellow human to search for job what happened to going online and walk in yourself Your failure in uae as a newbie starts when you depends on someone else. Regardless how long the person has been here, never pay anyone to ko hunt for you, no good company will employ you through those useless agent. I know you’ll probably reply here and be abusive but idc

Dear all, please I would like to get everyone honest opinion on this issue. I’m presently working in Dubai as a sales representative earning 5,000 aed ( 625k naira ) tax free monthly with 2 times meal provided at work all in I have disposable income of 3,500 aed 430k naira but my friends in the Uk says I can make this amount in 2weeks so before I start to commit myself I would need your honest advice. Can I have this type of savings in my first 2yrs in the Uk and what’s the common salary of an average nigerian.
Ps: my expected monthly savings is around 500-600k is this achievable in the Uk for a new commer please
I’m commenting because I’m a uae resident myself, Unlike Dubai the UK is not experiencing economic boom. There is no demand for sales representatives in UK, habibi your income is fair and I bet a lot of people in the Uk don’t even have this much savings monthly, there’s nothing wrong in trying to better yourself but please understand that Immigration should not just be done to improve financial status but more importnatly, the goal should be to live in a country where there is social justice and equality.

I read on UAE labor page that it is now compulsory that visitors/Tourist visa holders must have 2000aed BTA physically available on arrival. The victims on arrival airport are been repatriated upon non possession of the basic requirement of the fund, but however advised that travellers should check with authority for confirmation of this claim before boarding.

Hi everyone, I'm a plumber. Can I get a well paying plumbing work in the UAE or even Qatar and pls how do I go about it? Your help is needed pls.
plumber in Nigeria is different from plumber here, anything related to construction is 100% hard labour in uae just leave it for Asians. The weather is harsh for any outdoor related job and they’re mostly poorly paid. Stay in Nigeria or look elsewhere but if you insist don’t come abd cry foul here later, thank you.

God will never forgive those Travel agents back home in Nigeria. They will sit there in that their godforsaken office and promise people they have jobs in Dubai, some of them that have not even boarded a plane before. People like Capital Travels in Ojodu Berger with the sweetest mouth I have ever seen. I will provide more update on him later.
Please,if you have a job of even 50k per month and to some extent you are comfortable with it with no pressure,I will advise you to stick with, save up till you can afford Europe or US. Those that mostly don't complain and endure are those that have no job at all back home,or are already used to hard labour, how do you expect such a person to complain?? Have you ever worked in an Indian company in Nigeria? You know how they treat people? That's volume one of what you are going to experience here in UAE.
Am talking not from my only personal experience but what 95% of us are facing here but those here too won't tell you the truth cos we Nigerians can live fake life hen? Fake everything...My people, your cool 50k is better than 1200diram here with hard labour!
you’re right and I understand your frustration but not everyone is getting 1200 dirhams and sleeping on bunk bed, uae is no longer juicy for Nigerian job seekers but there’s still
More hope here than Nigeria. Even with ur low paid job in Nigeria you’re still at risk of police brutality, armed robbery. Any nigerian getting 4K aed above will have a different view and will be a bit comfortable in uae

Isn't God wonderful? You saw a visa copy issued LAST week. Are this week Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday part of last week? I think we are talking about the present not the past. Why didn't you show us pinchure of your last week visa by the way. You insisted that they are issuing visaS. Now you are giving this lame excuse that you saw ONE visa not visas. Always confirm information before labelling others unfairly and causing confusion.
sorry I’m not an agent and I also don’t go about asking people for their visa status or copy I can only state what I saw. Goodluck to everyone seeking visa renewal

This is diplomacy at play. I think the issue in contention is about Nigerians IN UAE that can't RENEW their visas like other countries or cannot change from tourist to residents or employment visa simply because of their passport saying that they are Nigerians.
This letter address people IN Nigeria, not the thousands trapped currently in UAE who will face overstay fine and become illegal immigrants from 10th August. Immigration is not renewing visas for Nigerians at the moment.
Another fake info. They’re renewing visa for Nigerians please

I want to know what the opportunities are like, I welcome all suggestions either negative or positive.
forget about coming to uae this year, infact traveling abroad to seek greener pasture generally. The whole world is messed up economically, chances of getting a job was 70/30 before the pandemic now I’ll put it at 95/5 so if you wanna take 5% chance of getting a job and 95% chance of returning home empty handed you can give it a try
