What gives you guys the impression that people are just on the thread waiting? That is just delusional.
I would also like to know what made Tamms embrace that line of thought? Tamms also thinks that everyone on the thread is a GT.

Wow! You have been saying this for a while now. Wow! I think now is the next best time to heed to your advice. We have chosen to move on, thank you.

We thank y'all.

I'm very sure if his father or uncle is an APC chieftain that has already recommended him for this ncdmb job, he would be here campaigning for APC so power doesn't leave his camp. Politics remain a game of personal interest. Everybody has a right to their choice of candidate but some people will attack u once u don't support their choice.
Exactly. Politics is a game of interest. We have good and bad eggs everywhere. It's just a shame that the recruiting org. isn't communicating with us but, this does not mean that this is the first time it has happened. We keep hope alive and believe that we would land our dream jobs.

With all the lopsided appointments, many of you will still vote for APC.

LMAO bro. This is an elite thing. It has nothing to do with who gets to embrace power. Even if you were in charge, I am sure you would fill up slots for your family and friends. Well, if you belong to the less than -1 percent that wouldn't do that, then I apologize.

I see you guys have resorted to quarrels and tantrums. It's not the best. I'll like to point out some facts.

if one is active here, it doesn't imply he or she is jobless. Even one has to earn to buy data for internet.

To wish for ncdmb job doesn't mean one doesn't make effort to get other jobs

whosoever writes that others are wasting their time here, he is also guilt of same because he's here with us also. the fact that he has written, it means he's guilty of what he accuses others of.

No one has a full knowledge of any field of study. Even the Britons sometimes speak the English language wrongly. An example was when an East African man corrected the Queen's open letter to Prince Harry. No man knows it all.

if one doesn't speak or write correctly, never mock him. Never glorify another man's weakness. Bible says "pride goeth before a fall".

Your knowledge of the English language is not a parameter to judge who is the better man. Rather it's tolerance, respect, goodness, humility etc that makes one better.

thanks to everyone

Nicely thumbed. The thing is, until we begin to learn and implement the "live and let live" advice, we would continue to get it wrong as a people. If anyone wants to move on, by all means do that. Coming on here to make people feel worthless isn't the best. From this thread alone, I have made serious friends. Even if NCDMB doesn't get APLs to the few successful, does that mean we cannot network amongst ourselves? It is just so unfair for anyone to keep using the "move on" words. Let's learn to respect ourselves.
Good morning beautiful people.

Whatever gives you the impression that people are sitting idle and waiting on this thread?
Don't be so patronizing, it doesn't do you any favors.
I wonder o. How does having a peep-in once in a while hurt anyone? I wonder if he is aware that some guys here applied for EH role. That means they have jobs for heaven's sake. It's never a bad thing to aspire for higher roles/paying jobs. If NCDMB is gonna provide that platform for the lucky few to achieve that, so be it. It's becoming boring with the same "move on, move on" gist.

So, if I can mark up to 500 scripts then I will make #8615 (17.23*500= 8615).

Too small. Honestly, to make this money genuinely and legally is not easy.
No one will even give you more that 285 scripts for other subjects and maybe 300 scripts for English.
Like I said, marking isn't a place to make money. Did you try NTI? They pay better. LoL
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: WAEC Recruitment 2022 by nikola(m): 6:37am On Jul 11, 2022
AbdulAkpan:

Thanks Nikola. Please, how much do they pay for the exercise? Is it per script? How much exactly?

If I am gonna be brutally honest, you should not attend the exercise if it's money you want. A lot of examiners go for the exercise for the experience and perhaps, promotions at their places of work.
You get to network; meet up with academics and maybe have an insight into test administration.
To answer your question, each examiner has a number of scripts (fixed) that would be assigned. There is something called lump sum, coordination fee e.t.c I heard they reviewed (upward) the amount this year.

Sincere thanks to those who have been feeding us with information. I need to ask:

1) I am not a practicing teacher. What is my chance of participating in this script marking exercise?

2) How long is the marking exercise?

3) If hired to participate, must I be coming to the marking venue everyday for the number of days, or I can work from home?

4) What is the financial benefits attached? I mean, how much are they paying?

Thanks in advance for the feedback

1. You can participate as long as you attend coordination and mark some dummy scripts with the guidance of a team leader.
2. It should be for ten days from the day of coordination.
3. You can work from home but you need to take some scripts for vetting. That's gonna be between you and your team leader.
4. It depends on the subject you are gonna record and score. I think English and Maths is quite high.

Hello, good morning. So sorry to barge, in but this your line of thought isn't accurate. Keeping the thread alive does not mean most on the thread have nothing else that keeps them busy. It makes no sense to have invested time/energy to attempt two different testing, upload documents and you expect people to move on. I understand it's frustrating but then, what can we do? Keep hope alive and keep being busy.
