The case of a very sad murder that took place months ago at Victoria Station in London is now over with 4 Nigerian teenagers sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Sofyen Belamouadden.

According to the The Daily Mail UK, a 15 year old boy was hacked to death by a twenty man gang in London. All members of the Gang have been arrested and charged.
Sofyen Belamouadden had his life cut short at Victoria station in central London when he was chased and killed by the gang over youths.
Twenty teenagers were charged in connection with the attack, but three were cleared. Fifteen others have already been jailed for a total of 129 years.
Obi Nwokeh, 20, Christopher Omoregrie and Samson Odegbune, both 19, were given life sentences for murder last April with minimum terms of 18 years.
Victoria Osoteku, 20, the only female to be charged, was jailed for 12 years for manslaughter, along with three other youths.
This evil Oseteku was seen on CCTV kicking Sofyen in the head as he lay dying on the ground after the 12-second attack and also helped with buying the knives that were used in the fatal assault.
Sofyen was stabbed nine times in the body and suffered wounds to his heart, a lung and major blood vessels.
The victim had dreamed of playing football for England and his death has left his family devastated.
The attack was the horrific end of a minor confrontation the day before in the fast-food area of Victoria mainline station between pupils from the two schools, in which a youth received a bloodied nose.
Messages were sent by phone and on Facebook arranging the clash.
Sofyen died after being chased by about 20 pupils across the Terminus Way concourse and into the Underground station.
A youth led the charge with a Samurai sword. Others were armed with a flick knife and a Swiss army knife, machetes and screwdrivers.
Sofyen fell down the stairs into the ticket hall and was attacked on the ground by a smaller group.

Politics / Boko Haram: We Are In Serious Trouble, Northern Governors Lament by nilzz: 10:31am On Apr 27, 2013
http://.com/2013/04/boko-haram-we-are-in-serious-trouble.html

Governors of the nineteen northern states in Nigeria under the aegis of Northern States Governors Forum, NSGF, said all of them are in trouble following the endemic insecurity that has bedeviled the region since 2009.
The governors spoke on Thursday in Abuja during the submission of a report by the committee on reconciliation, healing and security, which was formed by the Forum on July 26, 2012.
First to make the ‘trouble’ declaration was the governor of Bauchi State who said “we governors are in trouble, because we took the Quran or the Bible and swore oath of office and allegiance to two things; protecting lives and property.”
“So if any soul is killed outside the rule of law; Allah will ask you on the day you enter your grave. So how many of us here are going to escape?” he asked the gathering.
The Bauchi Governor also reminded his colleagues that they had all sworn to protect the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We have sworn to protect the constitution, both the import and the contents. So these are the few things I want to remind us, so we are in trouble,” he said.
Speaking in a similar vein, the Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa said the governors had resolved to be “very very serious about restoring security” in the North.
He also identified twenty one ‘items’ to buttress the fact that the governors are in trouble.
He listed items he described as the “manifestation of insecurity perpetuated by bands of marauders motivated by their desire for money other than ideological goals.”
Mr. Nyako identified the activities of Boko Haram, kidnappings, armed robbery, militancy, communal crisis, violence due to archaic behaviour, primordial divides, such as ethnicity and religion, piracy, and high level of stealing, especially of crude oil.
Others, he said, are illegal bunkering, violent crimes, assassinations, extra judicial killings, maiming of individuals by law enforcing agents, especially the JTF, as well as clashes between herdsmen and farmers.
Mr. Nyako also identified advanced fee fraud, otherwise known as 419, rape, sale of human organs, human trafficking, and child kidnapping for ritual purposes by highly placed individuals, whom he said, “ instead of being grateful to God, they are looking for more powers.”
The Adamawa governor said all the identified elements of insecurity must be stopped, as a pre-requisite for public security.
Earlier, the chairman of the reconciliation committee, Zakari Ibrahim, said after its inauguration, the committee requested for, and received 140 memoranda, reports, White Papers, and position papers from most of the 19 northern states.
Mr. Zakari said less than 20 per cent of the memoranda came from individuals, while the majority was from organized groups and institutions. He added that the committee met with the National Security Adviser, NSA; the Director General of the State Security Service, SSS; the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar; as well as the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Onaiyekan.
He said the committee visited six flash point states of Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, Plateau, Kano, Kaduna and Nassarawa. He added that Nasarawa, though not a flash point state, was visited due to the breakout of hostilities between the Eggons and the Fulani.
The chairman said the purpose of the visits were for fact finding, dialogue with stakeholders, commiseration and expression of sympathy, initiating a process of confidence building, and restoration of trust towards reconciliation and healing.
Sources and effect of violence on the north
The committee chairman also informed the governors that the north had suffered “very serious economic, social, cultural and psychological devastation, with relationships among the people severely fractured”.
Mr. Zakari said his committee was able to identify the sources of insecurity in the north; which include economic inequality and narrowing of opportunities, conflicts and unhealthy competition around ethnic and religious identities, ownership and access to resources, unequal access to political power, feeling of lack of respect, and issues around appointments into traditional headship positions.
Other sources of conflicts, he said, are the deterioration in personal and inert group relationships, poverty, illiteracy and ignorance, as well as widespread impunity.
He told the governors that all the factors mentioned earlier are surmountable “if serious consideration is given to the recommendations submitted by the committee in their report.”
People are tired of committees
Mr. Zakari also informed the governors that “the people in the north are tired of having committees every time a crisis erupts, while the recommendations of reports of the committees were hardly implemented”.
He therefore urged the governors to ensure that there is a break of that tradition, so that the report they submitted will be implemented with all the zeal and executive will to achieve the desired peace and progress in northern states.
In his own submission, the chairman of the NSGF, and Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, agreed with the chairman that people were tired of committees, and pledged the resolve of his colleagues to ensure that the report is implemented.
Mr. Aliyu, who thanked the committee for doing a good job, said “it is heart-warming to note that four members of the committee have been appointed to serve in the Federal Government’s committee on dialogue and peaceful resolution of security challenges in the north”.
He added that the recommendations of the committee could “serve as good reference material for the workings of the Federal Committee”.
Mr. Aliyu also used the occasion to reiterate his call to members of the Boko Haram sect to “accept the offer made by the Federal Government and come forward for dialogue and eventual submission of arms”.

Celebrities / Dagrin’s Mother Broke!!!! by nilzz: 6:43am On Apr 27, 2013
Monday made it three years Oladapo Olaonipekun popularly known as Dagrin died in an auto crash. Saturday Beats gathered that three years down the line, the mother of the late rap artiste, Falilat Olaonipekun, is broke. A Blackberry message made the rounds during the week, soliciting for support for the deceased’s mother.
The message stated that as Dagrin was being remembered by fans, his mother should also be put into consideration. The message read, “DAGRIN is ALIVE. Yes in our hearts, he is evergreen. It has been three years since our loving Dagrin passed on to rest in the Lord! Show Dagrin’s mum some love, drop your widow’s mite in her Acct- First Bank branch Acct- 3046543524 Olaonipekun Oluwakemi Falilat.”
When Saturday Beats got in touch with the late rapper’s manager, Tunde Peter, he said that the broadcast message was authentic and he actually rebroadcasted it when he confirmed its validity.
“Someone sent it to me and as I confirmed that the details are true, I had to rebroadcast it,” he said.
The development is quite shocking because though Dagrin did not reign for more than eight months before his death, he made a lot of money especially from shows. No one doubted the love he had for his mother, especially as he said in various interviews that she stood by him, so one would think his estate would make arrangements for her.
Peters further told Saturday Beats that because of the lack of structure in the music industry, nothing is working for Dagrin’s parents.
He said, “I feel his mum needs help. She claims that and currently she is not doing anything. Nothing is working at all for all these people. Our music industry is just a flop.”
Meanwhile, some artistes showed their love by using the late rapper’s pictures as display pictures on their BBMs and avatar on Twitter. Tonto Dikeh went the extra mile by visiting his graveside and laying a wreath there.

NO fewer than 12 persons killed yesterday in the heart of Awka, Anambra State when a tanker carrying palm kernel oil lost its brakes and rammed into Bus Park on the foot of the pedestrian cross at the popular UNIZIK junction in the town.
Several people who sustained various degrees of injuries were rushed to various hospitals in the Anambra State capital for treatment.

ACCIDENT AT UNIZIK JUNCTION ON ENUGU–ONITSHA EXPRESS WAY IN AWKA.jpg
The tanker, which was coming from the Enugu end of the Enugu –Onitsha expressway, lost control as it was descending the UNIZIK slope and hit a bus loaded with passengers and then dragged the same bus into the very busy motor park where it damaged about seven other buses.
Among those who either lost their lives or sustained injuries were drivers, motor park operators and recharge card sellers.
The tanker, which somersaulted severally as it was hitting other vehicles, had its body cut into pieces and its contents spilled along the road and in the motor park.
The impact of the summersault of the tanker adversely affected the beams of the pedestrian bridge, thus making part of the bridge to lose its alignment.
The accident, which happened at the time offices had closed for the day, caused an excruciating traffic jam on the road as many people stopped at the scene.
Men of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, the Nigerian Army, the Police and other good spirited people volunteered their vehicles for conveying the wounded persons to the hospital.
A similar accident on the same spot last year claimed five lives, but the difference was that the one of last year did not get to the motor park.
Sympathizers at the scene of the accident yesterday said there is need to relocate the various motor parks which have their loading bays beside the expressway to avoid such accidents in future.

ISTANBUL: The first woman to have a successful womb transplant from a dead donor is pregnant, a hospital in southern Turkey said.

Derya Sert, 22, who was born without a womb, had been receiving in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment after the transplant in August 2011.

"Early test results are consistent with pregnancy. The patient is in good health at the moment. We will continue to update on developments in the coming period," Akdeniz University Hospital in Turkey's Mediterranean city of Antalya said in a statement late on Friday.

One in every 5,000 women globally is born without a womb, while thousands more have the organ removed due to cancer or other diseases, leaving them unable to get pregnant.

In September, doctors in Sweden performed the world's first mother-to-daughter womb transplants on two Swedish women, both in their 30s. (Reuters)

Nairaland / General / Why I Attempted To Use My Cousin For Money Rituals. by nilzz: 11:26pm On Apr 11, 2013
A suspect ritualist, Jonah Jabbah, who allegedly attempted to use his eight-year-old cousin for money-making ritual said that he felt the lad was responsible for his misfortune in business.
A Police Investigator, Mr Simon Ezekiel, made the disclosure in his testimony to an Abuja Court on Thursday.
Ezekiel, who investigated the case, told a Karu Chief Magistrates’ Court in Abuja, presided over by Mr Shaibu Ahmed, that the accused made the confession during interrogation at the station.
Jonah, his brother, Nanah Jabbah and one Alhaji Mamman are facing a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, abduction and attempt to commit an offence.
Ezekiel, who appeared in court as a prosecution witness, alleged that the three conspired to use an eight-year-old boy, Lokoja Abash, for ritual sometime in 2011.
He was led in evidence by the Prosecution Counsel, Mr John Ijagbemi.
The investigator said the accused persons were arrested by operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) on April 12, 2011 and transferred to the State Police CID Command in Abuja, three days later.
He said that the accused persons, all residents of Kokona in Nasarawa, had taken the boy to a spiritualist, based in Durumi II, Abuja, Mohammed Ibrahim, for ritual purposes.
“The spiritualist requested for N30,000 to enable him buy the items needed for the ritual which they provided.
“Ibrahim, who told them to wait for him in his shrine while he went to purchase the items, tipped off the SSS whose operatives stormed the shrine and arrested the suspects.
“During interrogation, the first accused person (Jonah) told me that the boy was his cousin and had been staying with him for some time before the incident.
“He said after the boy joined him, his provision business collapsed and his pick-up van broke down beyond repair.
“Jonah confessed that he decided to use him for ritual because he later discovered that the boy was in a secret society and was responsible his misfortune,’’ he alleged.
The witness also said that he led the investigation team on a visit to the scene of the incident and discovered that the shrine existed.
After the witness’ testimony, the prosecution counsel tendered signed written statements made by the accused persons’ at the station as exhibits.
The court admitted the statements in evidence after the accused persons agreed that they were made and signed by them.
When asked whether they had any question to the evidence of the prosecution witness, the accused persons, who represented themselves in court, answered in the negative.
The Chief Magistrate then adjourned the case till May 30, for continuation of hearing and presentation of more witnesses.

Nairaland / General / Students Of (LAUTECH) Rampage As Three Undergraduates Are Killed! by nilzz: 1:59am On Apr 11, 2013
Students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Monday night and Tuesday went on the rampage, as three of their colleagues were reportedly killed by an alleged drunk okada rider.
According to sources, the deceased; all female, were 200-level undergraduates of the department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT).
Two of the students were allegedly returning from where they went to get their laboratory coats from one of their lecturers when a taxi reportedly veered off its way to crush them.
In the process, one of the girls, in a frantic bid to escape being hurt, jumped off the bike but unfortunately hit her head on the tarred road. The second girl on the bike and a third victim who was trekking by the road side, died on getting to the hospital.
Three occupants in the taxi, who were also students of the institution, it was learnt, were in coma as at the time of this report.
Irked by thedevelopment which they claimed was the third in two years involving okada riders and students, the students had, since Monday afternoon, commenced riot in the school premises.
They razed down the taxi, made bonfires on the road, destroyed some school property and were alleged to have beaten up the female lecturer in question.
Speaking on the matter, the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mrs Folashade Ajao-Oyediran, disclosed that they were not allowed into the school, saying the school management was currently meeting over the matter and would make a statement soon.

Nairaland / General / Student Goes MAD, And Stabs 14 People In School!! by nilzz: 4:30pm On Apr 10, 2013
The 20-year-old Lone Star College student accused of stabbing 14 of his classmates told investigators he’d been planning the spree for some time and had fantasies of stabbing people to death since his elementary school days.
So vicious were the random, building-to-building attacks carried out by Dylan Andrew Quick that his thrusts left pieces of a razor-type knife in at least one of his 14 victims, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday night. Two students were in critical condition and four are in fair condition. Four were flown by helicopter from the sprawling Cy-Fair campus outside Houston to hospitals. Some were treated on scene.
The violence was reported around 11:13 a.m. local time at the school’s Cy-Fair campus in north Harris County.
Quick is charged with three counts of aggravated assault. Police say pieces of the blade were found inside at least one victim and around the area where he slashed his classmates. The knife’s handle was found in the backpack the Quick wore while he allegedly terrorized his community college classmates. Quick was dressed in all black, a cap pulled over his bushy red hair.
The first emergency call described “a male on the loose stabbing people,” Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia said.
Student Steven Maida tells the Daily News he was walking to his vehicle on campus when chaos broke out. People were running, he said, including one who said, “My friend got stabbed in the face.” Maida and a group took off after the suspect. The group eventually caught up to the suspect, pulling him down by his backpack and restraining him, Maida said. The suspect’s hearing aids fell out during the struggle, Maida said.
“He said, ‘I give up,’” Maida said. “I asked him, ‘Why’d you do this to these girls, why?’ but he just stared up at me.”
Another witness told Maida the suspect was “Dylan” and that “he’s a nice kid.” She didn’t tell Maida the suspect’s last name.
“Just hearing that girls were being stabbed in the face made me want to help,” Maida told the Daily News on Tuesday evening.
Witnesses told CBS affiliate KHOU 11 that the incident erupted in a lab at the campus’ Health Sciences building.
Student Margo Shimfarr-Evans said she had just left the building when she learned a classmate had been stabbed.
“It happened in the hallway, we have a lab and lecture, and down the hallway it’s all lab classes and a classmate in the lab class got stabbed,” she said.
Police said at a news conference it was a random “building-to-building attack.” How many buildings or classrooms were involved is unclear. An officer said a student tackled the suspect, who was then detained by police.
Student Michael Chalfan told The Associated Press he was walking to class when he saw a group of police officers running after Quick. He said one of the officers used a stun gun to help subdue the man, whom Chalfan said he recognized from a drama class last year.
Chalfan described Quick as “eccentric,” saying he often wore gloves and was known to carry stuffed animals. He said although the man was teased by fellow students, he remained friendly.
“I’m surprised because he didn’t look like he was hateful to the world,” Chalfan said.
The Chronicle reported that Quick, who was once homeschooled, was born deaf and had a cochlear implant at age 7.
The Chronicle reports Quick told a man in the Cy-Fair jail that he wanted to go on a “killing spree” but that the knife’s blade broke. He told investigators he planned the attack for “some time” and had fantasies of such a spree since elementary school.
Several calls by the Daily News to Quick’s mother, Tiffany Quick, went unanswered Tuesday.
An earlier alert put out by the school on Facebook said there were possibly two armed suspects, with one still at large.
After the attacks, school officials closed the campus for the day, but it will reopen Wednesday. About 7,000 people are on the Cy-Fair campus on any given day, police said.
A Lone Star College campus in north Harris was the scene of violence in January when gunfire wounded three people.

Nairaland / General / Ex-super Eagles Goalkeeper, Peter Rufai May Go To Jail!! by nilzz: 11:55pm On Apr 09, 2013
http://.com/2013/04/peter-rufai-ex-super-eagles-goal-keeper.html

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper and 1994 African Nations Cup gold medalist, Peter Rufai worked very hard to be in form and maintained good name.
He was in goal for Nigeria’s senior national team for over a decade, and kept goal for European clubs such as K.S.C Lokeren, K.S.K Beveren (both of Belgium) and Deportivo de La Coruna of Spain.

However, one error of judgment on his part has caused the reputation he built over the years to stain, particularly in Belgium where he allegedly diverted the sum of 200,000 euro that was put in his hand by the Nigerian Community and ran to Nigeria last year.

Sources claim that the Belgian government has an arrangement in place for ethnic groups and that of nationals of other countries in Belgium whereby financial supports are given to them every quarter. A subvention, it takes several different forms. At times, it is 5000 euro in a quarter, and at other times it is well above it.

Organizations like the Egbe Omo Odua, Igbo Group, Nigerian Community, Sierra Leon Community, and Ghanaian Community among others get theirs and spend it with shrieks of delight. Most of the African communities also have football clubs that also benefit from the largess.

Impeccable sources told orijoreporter that last year the Nigerian Community Football Club, an outfit managed by the ex-international and in division four of the Belgian League, received 200,000 euro (about N44 million) from the Belgian authority to prosecute the club’s programmes. Others like Ghana, Sierra Leon were also beneficiaries.

But while others used the money as specified that of Nigeria was diverted by the manager, Rufai who left with it to Nigeria since last year and has not returned.

It was said that before the incident Egbon as Rufai is called in Belgium by the Nigerian Community was living in Antwerp having been brought from Spain where he had a small school where goalkeepers were trained by a lady.

Things were so difficult for him following his failure to make the right investments during his impressive career as a footballer. And under the condition he was in, any straw was worth holding on to.

Orijoreporter gathered that Dodo Mayana as he is fondly called in Nigeria risked being jailed for three or six months if he returned to Belgium. It was also said that Rufai’s reported illness last year in Nigeria when he was admitted to Toki Hospital at Surulere for slumping in his office, after his 78 years old mother’s death was feigned so as to distract attention from his wrongdoing.

Health / Photo: Face Eating(noma) Disease Spreads In Nigeria (viewer Discretion) by nilzz: 11:52am On Apr 09, 2013
http://.com/2013/04/photo-face-eatingnoma-disease-spreads.html
NOMA, a severe disease that affects the face is silently spreading in Nigeria. Studies carried out in the last two years have revealed that about 126,000 Nigerians die from NOMA disease every year.
Although it is relatively unknown, the disease has been plaguing lives especially of people in the North. Victoria Nkong, the coordinator of the campaign against NOMA disease, explains the symptoms as initial sore or rash inside the mouth of a victim, which if left untreated gradually grows and in the process, part of the face is eaten up with gangrene. She says that in extreme cases, the disease eats its way into the heart and vital organs of the victim’s body leading to death.”Although most of the cases of NOMA disease can be found in the Northern part of the country, we have recorded a few cases in Lagos and in most of those cases, due to ignorance about the disease, people brand the victims as accursed people or demons. NOMA disease is prevalent among the poor and it is caused by acute malnutrition. Children and young people from the ages of two to seven years are mostly affected but in rare cases, adults can fall victims. If detected early, it can be treated with common antibiotics but when it is left untreated, the disease eats out the whole face, at which point the victim will have to undergo a very expensive corrective surgery,” says Nkong.
Nkong emphasises the existence and spread of the disease in the country, urging sufferers to get treatment and possibly surgery.
“Most medical practitioners in Nigeria do not know about NOMA but this is a disease that kills faster than AIDS and the level of ignorance about it in Nigeria is alarming. Since it mostly affects the poor people, it is cheaper to treat at the early stages. A poor man living below N100 a day cannot be expected to raise £40,000 needed for corrective surgery and the medical budget from the Federal Government cannot adequately take care of such expenses. So it is very important for people to undergo proper screening and tests to tackle the disease before it gets to the maturity stage.”

A man, Ali Haruna, 25, a native of Kano State, northwest Nigeria, has been arrested by the police at the Maroko Police Division, Lekki, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, for allegedly entering the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, situated on Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos with charms strapped to his waist and the he carried with him in a calabash inside the bag he brought in to the church.

He was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate court on one count charge of illegally entering a church with charms.

The police alleged that the accused was arrested following a complaint by members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos, that they found the accused inside their church on 31 March, 2013 with charms.

During interrogation, he allegedly told the police that he entered the church to pray to God. But when asked what he was doing with the charms, he could not give satisfactory answer nor explain how long he has been worshiping in the church since he claimed he was a Muslim.

The church members suspected him to have entered the church to perpetrate evil.

Celebrities / Rihanna Dumps Chris Brown For Hot New Rapper!! by nilzz: 10:40am On Apr 03, 2013
Chrianna fans are in for a shock as the pop star has once again severed the relationship with Chris Brown and now dating star rapper, A$AP ROCKY.

According to reports by MediaTakeOut:

Her new boyfriend is . . .A$AP ROCKY!!! According to a ROCK SOLID MTO INSIDER, A$AP and Rihanna have been on tour together now for about a month - and they've FALLEN IN LOVE!!!

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "This isn't some fling, they're in love . . . cuddling, hanging out, everything." The insider continued, "I've never seen Rihanna so happy - even happier than when she was with Chris."

Hopefully, A$AP ROCKY knows how to defend himself or, even better, has a bunch of hired goons--er--competent security team similar to CB's to watch his back in the event of violence.

And that violence may occur soon, because, according to MTO's talkative source, Mr. Breezy knows what's happening, and he's not amused.

Politics / Lol..man Jailed For Liking A Facebook Status!! by nilzz: 9:00am On Apr 02, 2013
http://.com/2013/04/man-jailed-for-liking-facebook-status.html

A Palestinian man who clicked "Like" on a Facebook status criticising a Palestinian Authority (PA) official has been sentenced to six months in prison.

Anas Ismail, 29, of Salfit, near Nablus, was found guilty of "libel and slander." Ismail is the second Palestinian to be imprisoned for Facebook activities in the past few days.

He was sentenced to prison on the same day another PA court in Bethlehem sentenced a Palestinian journalist to one year in prison for sharing a photo on Facebook that compared PA President Mahmoud Abbas to a villain and spy of French colonial authorities in a Syrian drama.

The Palestinian Authority police on Friday night released another Palestinian, Mamdouh Hamamreh from prison, one day after he had been sentenced to one year in prison for insulting PA President Mahmoud Abbas on Facebook.

On Thursday, a PA court in Bethlehem upheld a one-year prison sentence imposed earlier on Hamamreh after convicting him of publishing a photo on Facebook comparing Abbas to a villain and traitor who appeared in a popular Syrian TV production.

Hamamreh was the second Palestinian to be imprisoned for insulting Abbas on Facebook since the beginning of this year.

In February, a PA court in Nablus sentenced 26-year-old Anas Awwad, a university student, to one year in prison for positing a photo depicting Abbas as a Real Madrid player. Awwad too was later pardoned by Abbas.

Earlier this year, Ayman Samarah, 40, of Jenin, was found dead in his prison cell after PA security forces prevented Palestinian journalists from covering the case.

The treatment of prisoners in Palestinian prisons is becoming increasingly concerning to human rights activists.

The mother of Karim Shaheen, who is being held in Jericho Prison, said that her son has been hospitalised after suffering from paralysis in in his left arm as a result of torture.

The family of another detainee, Baha Zahdeh, also accused the PA security forces of torturing their son, who is being held in the same prison on suspicion of membership in Hamas.

The Palestinian Authority is however, renowed for paying salaries to convicted terrorists serving time in Israeli prisons.

Norwegian authorities recently expressed their concern over the financial support for the Palestinian Authority and where the money given in aid is going.

From my calculations, I'm guessing she was kidnapped , raped and tortured to death. I am scared for the lil ones out there because the wicked soul who did this is out there walking the streets a free man or even reading this.
